Story
This sweet male dog was found in southwest Missouri about six months ago by my MIL in very rough shape—malnourished, dirty, and clearly down on his luck. Over the past six months, she has lovingly nursed him back to health. He is now neutered, fully vetted, dewormed, up to date on all shots, and we will provide complete vet records. He is crate trained and potty trained, and overall a very good boy. That said, because of his unknown life before being found and my MIL’s health and living situation, he hasn’t had much formal training. He will need work on basic commands (like sitting and not jumping up). He’s about 55 pounds, very strong, and for that reason we do not recommend a home with small children, or elderly adults. What he does have in spades is love. He is a total sweetheart and a complete love bug. We recently brought him to Colorado and he has been amazing with our dogs-no food aggression at all, and he doesn’t know what people food is! He bonds quickly and loves to cuddle!

Story
Angelo is truly an angel—sweet, loving, and chill. He has young-dog energy and loves to run and play with other pups, but he’s equally happy relaxing at home with his people. He rarely barks and just needs a moment to feel safe before warming up to new friends. Angelo is crate-trained and comfortable being crated overnight and for 6–7 hours during the day. He’s house-trained, walks well on a leash, knows basic commands, and loves treats. He’s great with kids and other dogs. He’s also good with cats if they’re playful—he assumes they want to play with him—so he isn’t the best match for a cat who prefers their space. Angelo would thrive with a yard and plenty of playtime, and he’s microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to bring joy to his next family.

Story
Meet Nelson (7yo), a loving, loyal, well trained dog who has been our companion since rescued at one year old. He’s incredibly affectionate with family and great with kids, but has strong protective instincts around strangers, especially near the front door. With our growing family and more frequent visitors, it;s become harder to manage his guarding behavior. Nelson would thrive in a quiet home with a large yard or farm, big bed, and home willing to give him snuggles. He needs space out side of the city to run. He is well trained, will bike 10+ miles with you, and be the best companion for long hikes or camping trips (his favorite). We love him deeply, and this decision comes from a place of wanting what’s best for him. We simply don’t need his protection and know someone needs his love. Nelson will come with beds, kennel, food, and a donation to the right home and family to ensuring he continues to live a great life. If you think you might be the right fit, please reach out us.

Story
I am heartbroken to have to rehome my sweet Bear 💔 I am having a baby and he is not good with babies/ toddlers. He is the ultimate cuddler, wants to be tucked in blankets, on laps, and snuggled up together all day long. He only takes short walks for bathroom breaks, otherwise is happy at home. He has deformed back feet (underdeveloped) but it does not bother him and he walks just fine. Ideal home for him would be someone who does not have a full time office job, no kids and no other dogs at home.

Story
Ellie is absolutely the cutest, sweetest 7 year old doggo. She is a smart, active Australian cattle/husky mix who can either be calm and relax at home or go on crazy adventures! She has been a roadtripping dog, so she is the best in the car. My friends always forget when she’s in the car with us because she’s so quiet. She loves attention from people—whether that be through pets, throwing ball, tug of war, going on hikes/walks/runs, or cuddling. Belly and booty rubs are her favorite. I’m a nanny, and I regularly bring the kids I watch to walk/play with her. She is fantastic with kids, and they love her so much. She also loves swimming. I love her so much and sincerely would not be rehoming her if I wasn’t so busy outside of the home. I got her when I was 17, and she deserves a more stable living situation.

Story
I adopted Berto from a local shelter about 9 months ago. Since bringing him home he has gained a lot of confidence, although he struggled with anxious behaviors in the shelter. He loves to cuddle, go for long walks, and do everything with you. He’s silly and makes me laugh everyday. He has some self control issues especially when meeting new people. However he’s very intelligent and trainable! He needs more consistency and stability than I can provide, and I hope he goes to a home with more space to run and potentially be with another dog.
