Hey there! Miss girl showed up on our doorstep with an injured paw and we took her in! At the time we had almost 2 acres and she was thriving but we’ve since relocated to Colorado with a tiny yard and I know she needs room to roam. She’s great with kids, other dogs, and my two cats! She’s protective of the property and great guard dog!

Luna, Lab/Heeler, 10 yrs. 85 lbs. (she is on a diet as she is entirely too heavy) Luna’s owners are moving into an independent living facility and cannot take her with them. She’s friendly with everyone including other dogs. She’s bored and sleeps a lot during the day so she isn’t getting the exercise that she needs. Overall, she is in good health. Recently in the last month we’ve had to put her on incontinent medicine, and she seems to be doing well with that. She has also been on the Farmers Dog food for the past three months, in order for her to lose weight, and is doing well with that. She has a lot of life to give yet. Poor Charles was found wandering the streets and ended up in the shelter.
