Story

Raya, Pitbull mix, 2 yrs., 42 lbs., Raya, a gentle and loving Pit Bull cross was that suffering from a gunshot wound. She was in pain, but her spirit shone through from the very beginning. Despite the trauma she endured, Raya greeted us with hope in her eyes and a wag of her tail, showing us she wanted to fight for her life. It was determined that her leg had to be amputated. Through it all, Raya’s sweet nature shines—she loves to see people and enjoys short walks, always eager for affection and encouragement. We are looking for a loving home that can offer her patience, understanding, and the chance to thrive as a tripod dog. She is good with other dogs but probably not really rambunctious dogs since her balance is not the best. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Roxy, Staffordshire Terrier, 8 yrs., 56 lbs. Roxy is a very kind soul. She loves people and loves to spend her time with them. She loves her couch and especially if she can lay beside you preferably with her head in your lap. She likes to play with toys and likes to play fetch but won’t bring it back to you. She loves to go for rides and lay out in the sun. Roxy has been let down by people for eight years so it’s time to find someone that will love her for the rest of her life. Good with some dogs probably males and No Cats. She was in a shelter for six months before we got her out. Roxy is a happy well-adjusted girl even though her life hasn’t been the best. Story

Annie, Pyrenees/Australian, 2 yrs. Annie She is a very sweet dog, but she will need to go to a home with someone who has experience with these types of breeds. This is a guardian dog and a working breed. She can walk on a leash, and I can take her food from her while she’s eating with no problems. Her world is a bit upside down right now but despite all that, she is just a goofy ball of love that is looking for her forever home. Her owner has been dealing with a cancer diagnosis and unfortunately her treatments did not go as hoped and I have been given the go ahead to find this beautiful girl a new home. She was raised with a St. Bernard and gets along fine with a Siberian husky. She also lives with a cat, and she mostly ignores it, but I don’t think she would be a great fit for a home with just a cat and no other dogs. From the moment you meet him, you can feel how sweet and genuine he is. Dax is the kind of dog who wants to be included in whatever you are doing and will happily reward you with loyal companionship and steady affection. Despite probably being part shepherd, Dax is surprisingly easygoing and mellow. He has a calm, loving nature that makes him a joy to spend time with, whether you are heading out for a walk or settling in at home. He is handsome, confident, and full of quiet charm, especially with his signature one ear up and one ear down look that instantly steals hearts. Dax would thrive in a home with a dog sibling with a proper introduction. He is not a fan of cats, but he more than makes up for it with his devotion to his people.
