Story
We rescued Brewer back in 2016 (we were told he was used as a bait dog down in Texas). Our family has grown and as mobile children have entered our world, Brewer has found himself needing more personal space than our floor plan allows. He loves adult humans and to play/snuggle. Most of his time has been spent going on walks early in the morning or late in the afternoon to avoid other dogs and playing in the backyard. While he has gotten along with some dogs, he prefers to be the primary pet so we feel a dog free/kid free home would be best. He does display some resource guarding with food and toys towards other animals and recently towards kids.We have taken the time to teach our 3 yr old to give him his space and to be respectful of dogs in general. Unfortunately they were both in a small part of our house at the same time and she had a snack of her own in her hand and things escalated. We cannot risk it happening again and are looking for loving adults for him ❤️

Story
Chewy, American Staffordshire Terrier mix, 3-4 yrs., 100 lbs. Chewy is great with people and other nonaggressive dogs. He loves toys, amazing on a leash and has had obedience training. He has been an indoor dog most of his life and is definitely attached to his family so it would likely be best if he was in a one dog home because he loves his people and will follow them around. He is a bed and cover hog that enjoys snuggling up with his family. He also loves to travel. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Rocky, Lab/Husky, 4 yrs., 87 lbs. Rocky is very shy at first but with time he will become your shadow. He is going to be a very loyal dog. He’s more comfortable with men initially because his owner was a man. He was surrendered by his owner. Due to his strong attachment to his owner he would do better as an only dog. We are looking for a home where the owner is home most of the time. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
Hi! I`m Nala and I am a wild child looking for a family that loves active, rambunctious and playful dogs. I will benefit from living in an active home that can give me plenty of exercise, mental stimulation and positive reinforcement training. I will need a home without children under 12 so I don`t accidentally knock over any little ones and I may do best in a home as the only dog so I can be the center of attention. While I do like other dogs some dogs wont like my rambunctious and overzealous play style so I will need an in shelter meet and greet with any dogs in the home to ensure we are a good fit. My previous family says I am potty trained when taken out frequently, love to snuggle and play. I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
Oakley, Red Heeler, 4 yrs., male. Oakley is a little hesitant to meet a new person but once he knows you, he is very loving and loves attention. He walks well on a leash, is food motivated, quick to learn, and knows basic training skills. He needs to go to a home with no other pets but out in public he does fine when passing dogs on the street he just doesn’t want to live with them. He was surrendered by his owner. We are looking for a home with someone home most of the time and with Heeler experience. Courtesy listing. Call Cindy 970-353-1385
