Story

Our little beautiful Roxy is something else! She is so intelligent and happy, and wants to be with a family. She adores children, and the seven year old in the house has taught her to fetch and lots of other things. She is gentle and precious, only about 30 pounds at a year, so is smaller, and loves getting attention. She is crate trained and house trained, enjoys other dogs, loves being outside, and walks well on a leash. She is ready for her forever best friend. She enjoys water, tummy rubs, and showing off how smart she can be. She is a bit frightened of cars rushing by and can be a little shy when she first meets you, but when she comes in for scratches, it is such an amazing feeling. Roxy enjoys everything about having a family, and cannot wait to find her forever!

Reggie is an active excited dog that deserves to live in the country. He grew up on a big plot of land as a foster and did not transition well to suburbia. I would love to find him a home where he can have ample room to run, a friend or two, and not a lot of commotion. He is friendly but leash reactive and fence reactive to dogs and small animals. However he has shown he can be trained to monitor himself so I would say he needs someone who has owned a high energy dog before! He needs someone to give him a lot of time and attention, as he deserves to be someone’s true lifer but he is too skiddish around young kids. I’m sad I have to give him up but I don’t believe I am giving him the life he deserves.

True to his guardian instincts, he keeps predators away and thrives in a working environment with livestock. He has worked with sheep, a small group of cows, goats, and poultry. Spot needs a property where he can do the job he was born for and a person who will give him time, patience, and consistency. His parents are purebred, and he’s healthy, well-mannered with a ton of potential.
