*REHOMING FEE IS NEGOTIABLE-We just want him to go to a good home* We are looking to rehome our sweet boy. He is very active and full of energy. He is loving and friendly and likes to be the center of attention. He will thrive in a home with space to run and with an owner who likes to go on daily walks or hikes. He prefers to sleep in the same room as you. We have had him since he was a puppy. We have a 2 year old and newborn twin boys and are planning on relocating to Missouri in the next few months. As much as we would love to keep him, we wont be able to keep up with the activity level he requires while raising our new family. We are hoping to find a great new owner that will love him and give him the attention he deserves.

Story
Meet Gentle – A Calm and Loving Alaskan Husky Gentle is an Alaskan Husky with a wonderfully calm and easygoing personality. He has always been more of a laid-back, home-loving dog rather than high-energy, and is very self-reliant. Much of his day is happily spent relaxing or napping. He is well trained on leash and walks calmly and obediently. Gentle enjoys walks and hiking at a comfortable pace and does very well in relaxed outdoor settings. Gentle has never shown aggression—he has never fought with another dog and has never harmed a person. His temperament is gentle, soothing, and friendly, making him a great companion. The only thing to note is that if food or trash is left accessible, he will assume it’s fair game—so keeping food secured is important. Gentle does require a quality diet, and I’m happy to follow up with any adopter to explain his food requirements and routine in detail. I am placing Gentle up for adoption due to my upcoming active-duty service.

Story
My husband has had Luna since she was a puppy. She has been a wonderful dog to us. She is obsessed with fetch and her favorite word is “ball”. She loves to curl up on the couch or in bed with us. Unfortunately she has not been too keen on our twins. Since they are toddlers and only getting more handsy and rambunctious, she has gotten more and more anxious around them. She would thrive in a childless home where she is the only pet and can be given the attention she deserves. Her ideal day would involve lots of throwing the ball and/or going on walks ending in snuggling on the couch.

Story
***BONDED PAIR CANNOT SEPARATE*** Gizmo is an adorable, 12 year old mostly blind Terrier mix. He needs time given daily for feeding, ensuring he drinks enough, outdoor exploring, and most important his eye medications. He depends on his sibling Bonnie at times to know where to go outside and they play great together supervised in a fenced yard. Even without her he will explore the whole house and yard and roll in the grass; he is a joy to watch! NO doggy doors for this pair due to his condition. Gizmo will need his Optimmune eye gel 2x every day plus PF eye drops every 2 to 3 hours -- this is important or he will lose his eyes. Due to previous severe jaw pain Gizmo will growl and be snappy during med time but this is a behavioral tool from past pain and he will work his way out of it in time. Gizmo has learned an adorable trick for a "snack" and when he needs hugs, you'll love it! He and Bonnie sleep together in a large crate with blankys and their stuffed animals but must eat separately or sis will eat his, lol. A decent size closed crate will be needed for this pair because his sister tends to hog. Gizmo will fall off a bed or wander into tables, get tangled in cords etc. So cannot sleep uncrated. Gizmo is a daily reminder of what we take for granted but he is active if allowed to be. He just had a full dental done, a thigh tumor and eye mass removed. Like his sister he adores ice cream, anything cheese and Little Jacs treats! Gizmo is pad trained once he learns where the large pads are. Come meet this pair in Aurora.
