Story
Hi, my name is Daisy, and I love to play and search for food! I am 12 pounds and physically in great shape, but behaviorally I have some challenges due to inbreeding. After a lot of work with a vet and a trainer, my mom and dad believe I would thrive in a one-person household with no other animals and a consistent routine. I also need a patient human who can take the time to understand my special needs - which my owners will be happy to go over in-depth. I'd also love someone who can take me outdoors a lot to sniff and explore!

Story
Billie is such a dream! She is actually a lab, as we met mom and she is a Labrador, and looks like she might have rottie or shepherd in her. She is a gentle, happy, social, lovely girl. Billie is so good with everything! She loves other dogs and people, is pretty mellow and introspective, and just wants to be loved. She enjoys frolicking and then sitting in the A/C with a chew toy. She is house trained and crate trained and is an observer and a thinker. She is the biggest in her litter, and enjoys everyone. She has not been tested with cats, but her demeanor makes it seem that she would be fine with them. Her foster tells us she is a really "chill" dog who goes with the flow and has already been hanging out at breweries and with lots of people and other dogs. She is about 4-1/2 months old and weighs about 20 pounds. She is an amazing girl! **Billie will be spayed and microchipped by Lightshine in September.

Story
We have had Nala since she was 8weeks old! She is now 5 will be 6 December 22nd! She is a cuddle bug for sure and loves to play! shes very smart and learns quickly. She is kennel trained, house trained and knows basic commands. She loves her paw held. She will literally be your best friend. She needs an active loving family. I have developed an allergy to her fur and while i have been able to manage it pretty well our work situation is also changing within the next few weeks and i dont want her home alone or kenneled for the majority of the day. She deserves better than that. She is up to date on shots and goes to her annual well checks. Shes also been to doggy boarding and does great. Shes great with other dogs big or small and loves kids. she loves anyone that loves her honestly. She is not spayed but probably should be.

Story
Eddie has lived quite a life before we were able to bring him into safety. All of his littermates were able to be caught, but he evaded the live traps and ended up having to spend a long weekend alone under a shed. Once we got him, he was pretty shy. He was reunited with his sister and started coming out of his shell. Now his sister is adopted and he is learning how good it can be with people. He has been playing with other dogs (he adores other dogs) and going places with his foster mom. He follows his foster mom around the house and loves to play with toys. He is quite intelligent and enjoys showing that off. He sleeps all night and is doing well with house training. He will need an adopter that will take him places and positively reinforce socialization with people. He is going to be an incredible dog as his training and confidence grows and will be your best cheerleader!

Story
Meet Murren — better known as Blue innher foster home. Murren may be a little timid when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she turns into the ultimate cuddle bug. She has a gentle, loving personality and absolutely thrives around other dogs. In fact, her dream home would include a playful canine sibling because nothing makes Murren happier than wrestling, chasing, and playing with her foster brothers. She’s a very good girl with a goofy side, especially when she’s carrying around a bone to chew on or showing off her playful energy. Murren is also highly food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and easy to bond with. With a little patience, a lot of love, and a furry best friend by her side, Murren will blossom into the most loyal companion. If you’re looking for a sweet pup who loves cuddles just as much as doggy playtime, Murren might be your perfect match.

Story
Badger was supposed to quietly die at the shelter. He was listed as an 8-year-old husky mix and when he first arrived here, I honestly thought he was even older and possibly a hospice case. He was stiff, skinny, frozen in fear, and barely moved. But once I put him with younger dogs, something changed. Little by little, Badger started acting young again. He started following the other dogs around, exploring the property, splashing in the pond, and rediscovering happiness. Now he feels like an entirely different dog. I do not know his exact age, but I genuinely believe he is younger than the shelter estimated and he clearly still has a lot of life left in him. Badger now weighs around 60 lbs and is an awesome dog to live with. He walks well on leash, is extremely food motivated, and loves being part of daily life. He is also incredibly good with other dogs and especially gentle with puppies. He lets them climb all over him and will even let them steal his food without reacting. He did eventually figure out how to climb out of the 6-foot chain link kennel, because husky. But unlike a typical husky, he has absolutely no desire to run off or disappear. He mostly stays near the kennel area, follows me on walks, or goes down to the pond for a quick dip before coming back. I honestly don’t even put him up when I leave because he simply doesn’t go anywhere. Badger does great with other dogs overall, though because of his size and goofy personality, he would probably do best with dogs that are confident and not easily intimidated. He is fine with my tiny Chihuahuas because they are bossy and fearless, but very nervous little dogs may get overwhelmed by him simply because he does not fully understand how big he is. Good fit: someone looking for a loyal, goofy, easygoing companion who still has plenty of life and adventure left in him without the nonstop chaos of a young husky. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $450 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, NY, NJ Think you might be a good fit?
