Story
Miss Honey is a very sweet and cuddly dog. She loves attention! She is completely blind and recently had one eye removed. UTD on all vaccines, approximately 10 years old, and housebroken. She would like to be an "only child" but she also does really well around all her foster siblings (she just needs a little adjustment time). She is really the best little dog and gets around so well despite being blind. This info was provided by Miss Honey's foster mom: "When Miss Honey first came to us, she was confused. Her eyes were painful and she had just left a home where she had possibly spent her entire life. We weren't sure if she had been around other dogs, so that was an adjustment. She was shy and didn't really know how to react toward other dogs - she would growl, but would also be wagging her tail. In only a few days, her cute personality began to show. She went to the eye specialist, who verified that she is completely blind. Miss Honey had a dental and one of her eyes removed. She's very happy and will even walk on a leash. I've found that what at first appeared to be aggression or dominance toward other dogs might actually be Miss Honey trying to play. She doesn't seem to have a good sense of smell and can't find her food bowl easily, but her hearing is great. She's very loving and a great cuddler. She does well with a routine. She will bark if she is outside alone and she is housebroken."

Story
This sweet, spunky, full-of love, blind girl is looking for an mom/dad who is agile, quick on their feet, can carry 15 lbs with ease, is willing to stay outside while Lacey goes potty and loves to snuggle on the couch. Lacey Is potty trained but gets nervous by herself and won't go potty unless you wait for her. She gets excited and does circles in front of you and sometimes right into your legs. She loves to burrow in blankets, is food motivated and has quite a personality! She might do ok with a very easygoing quiet dog, but would do better as the only dog. She loves to wrestle gently with her owner when she hasn’t seen them in a while and tends to be mouthy but doesn’t bite. She learns her environment well but does fall down or off stairs when she is distracted or if things are moved around.

Story
Bounce Animal Rescue Favorite! Little Debbie is a darling older gal that is looking for a lap to retire on. She is kennel trained, house trained, knows how to use the dog door, and enjoys walks. Little Debbie is good with other dogs, preferring lower energy canine friends her size, and is good with cats. She is good with children but does not like to be handled rough so please, no young kids in the home. Debbie is a typical Chihuahua – brave, loyal, affectionate, and loves basking in the sun. Debbie has had MANY litters of puppies in the past and is ready to retire into a leisure life of snoozing in soft beds or a warm lap, snacking on tasty treats, soaking up the sun, and getting lots of belly rubs. She loves cuddling under your blanket to watch a movie or through the night. Little Debbie has a history of seizures. Fortunately, it’s successfully managed with twice daily oral medication. This medication is very cost effective, amounting to $41 per month. If you are looking for a lower energy lap dog, Little D would love to meet you! Adoption Information: Little Debbie is an 8-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-kill shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and spayed. Little Debbie has a history of seizures. Fortunately, it’s successfully managed with oral medication. This medication costs $41 a month. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel-trained, and housebroken. Little Debbie would do best in a home without young children. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, September 30. We are offering private adoption appointments for individual animals September 25-October 1.* For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
Tater (fawn) and Tot (black) are the sweetest, most affectionate gents on the block. This bonded pair of pug rolls and opposing curling tails, stalk their foster mom dawn to dusk, including keeping a beady eye on her in the shower, lest she drown. Their hobbies include waiting for treats, meals, feigning starvation (they are pugs), napping on the couch and bed with their humans (preferably sharing a pillow), and cleaning each others’ face twice a day like cats. They like to do everything together including potty. They are crate trained and use a dog door with ease. They enjoy observing their foster mom weed the garden then collapse on the piles of weeds (helpful in wind). Tot excels at singing when he’s happy, and both his little back legs do bicycle circles when his back is scratched. Tot is a ‘back sleeper’, there’s nothing cuter than four bent legs in the air attached to a somnolent pug. These laid-back gentlemen are potty trained, and looking for a quiet home with comfortable couch and a human bed. They need abundant love, low calorie treats, toys, and humans around to shadow each day. They currently live harmoniously with three dogs, two cats, two small humans, and adore everyone but prefer female humans over males. They are perfect, low maintenance, beautiful examples of this sociable and loving lap dog breed. Adoption Information: Tater & Tot (bonded pair!) are 8-year-old Pugs rescued from a high-kill shelter. These dogs are current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX/heartworm tested, and neutered. They are also tested with other dogs, cats, children, kennel-trained, and housebroken. Tater and Tot do not attend our weekly Saturday adoption events and are available by private adoption appointment. They are currently in foster care in Fort Collins, Colorado. Their adoption fee is $500. We would love for you to meet these dogs and see if they might be a good fit for your home.
