Leigh is a very sweet girl who never learned to communicate with other dogs. We lost my partner to cancer when Leigh was nine months old. She was never socialized well and became very unpredictable around other dogs in our home. She loves to play fetch, go on walks, and play in the snow. She has not spent time with children.

She’s potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside, and she already knows how to sit and listens well.She does great with kids and other dogs, currently living happily with two older dogs. She loves treats, enjoys going on walks, and is working on improving her leash skills. We’re looking for a loving home where she can get all the attention and care she deserves. Due to space and financial challenges, we’re unable to keep her, and she has not yet been vaccinated or spayed.If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate pup to grow with your family, she could be the perfect fit! 🐶💛

Hi! I'm Opal and I'm just under 5 years old. I have beautiful blue eyes that I get lots of compliments on. My favorite activity in the whole world is running and I would love to be someone's jogging companion, but I'm also content with a 30 minute walk daily and some yard time. I also enjoy curling up beside my humans on the couch and lounging outside in the sun. I get along well with most other dogs (particularly male dogs) and I have met a few cats and got along well with all but one of them. Other good attributes about me are that I'm completely potty trained (no accidents since I was a puppy!), I am not food aggressive, I don't shed a lot, and I sleep through the night happily. My owners are trying to re-home me because I am very scared of young children and they recently had a baby. I need to be placed in a home with children over the age of 10. My DNA test said I'm predominately Supermutt, Cattle Dog, and German Shorthaired Pointer.

Hi I'm Boone. I might be the sweetest boy you've ever met and I give the best hugs. My motto in life is play hard, cuddle hard. Playing with other dogs and running around outside are my favorite things to do. I can’t deny that I am fascinated by bunnies and squirrels, I might need some help focusing! The only thing I like more than playing with other dogs is getting love from my family. I admit, I do like women more than men, and start out a little uncomfortable around strangers. If cuddling was an Olympic sport, I would win the gold medal. I'm pretty chill and up for just about any adventure. I'm also super smart and learn quickly. I am good on my leash but I do need some more training, that’s for sure, those mountain bikers totally worry me. Lucky for us, the rescue has free training classes for adopters! She plays great with her foster sister and would love a doggy buddy, but she’d also be perfectly happy as an only dog, soaking up all your attention as your very best friend. She hasn’t been around cats yet, but she hasn’t shown any prey drive so far, so she may do well with a slow, proper introduction. She’s not mouthy and has a gentle temperament, making her a good match for families with respectful children. When she can’t be supervised, she relaxes quietly in her crate and is learning great independence skills. This girl has a sweet, eager-to-please nature and a soft, affectionate spirit.
