Story
*Agnes and Edith are a bonded pair* Meet Agnes!  At just 6 pounds, Agnes may be tiny—but her heart is full of potential. This petite Chihuahua is a sweet soul who blossoms with time, patience, and love. Once she feels safe, Agnes reveals her snuggly, playful side and will happily curl up beside you or bounce around with joy. Agnes is currently working on her potty training and socialization, and she’s making steady progress with the help of her foster family. She’s already kennel trained and finds comfort in having a cozy space to call her own. She thrives when she’s near her people and would do best in a calm, adult-only home where she can continue building confidence at her own pace. Agnes has a soft spot for her canine companion, Edith, but also does well with the other dogs in the home. What she needs most is someone who understands that trust takes time—and is willing to continue her training journey with kindness and consistency. If you’re looking for loyal little shadows who just needs a chance to shine, Agnes and Edith might be your perfect match. If you're interested in meeting them please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in them!) Their adoption fee is $400 and both girls are spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##2555725##

Story
Hi I'm Boone. I might be the sweetest boy you've ever met and I give the best hugs. My motto in life is play hard, cuddle hard. Playing with other dogs and running around outside are my favorite things to do. I can’t deny that I am fascinated by bunnies and squirrels, I might need some help focusing! The only thing I like more than playing with other dogs is getting love from my family. I admit, I do like women more than men, and start out a little uncomfortable around strangers. If cuddling was an Olympic sport, I would win the gold medal. I'm pretty chill and up for just about any adventure. I'm also super smart and learn quickly. I am good on my leash but I do need some more training, that’s for sure, those mountain bikers totally worry me. Lucky for us, the rescue has free training classes for adopters!  If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $200 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. It also covers 1 private session with our trainer  ##2180928##

Story
My name is Dana I am almost two. I was adopted a couple summers ago, but my older sister has started picking fights with me, so my dad wants me to live somewhere safer for me. I am a very smart german shepherd cross. I have learned how to open the back door by myself and to get out of any chain link fence by opening the gate. I need a home where I can fulfill my active lifestyle. I am a very active girl and enjoy running around and wrestling with my siblings. I currently live with my older sister and a dachshund brother. I like to play, and have a rowdy playstyle, so would be best matched with another dog that appreciates that! I am very smart and have learned how to sit and stay. I look forward to meeting you and hoping you can teach me new and wonderful things. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##1745197##

Story
*Edith and Agnes are a bonded pair* Meet Edith!   Edith is a delicate blend of Chihuahua and Chinese Crested charm, with a quiet spirit and a heart that’s learning to trust. She’s more independent than her buddy Agnes, but don’t let that fool you—Edith has a soft spot for snuggles once she feels safe. This shy girl is still working on her socialization, and she’s making gentle progress every day. She’s kennel trained and finds comfort in routine, especially when paired with her canine companion Agnes. Edith absolutely loves going for walks—it’s her favorite way to explore the world and build confidence at her own pace.  A quieter household without children would be ideal, giving them the space and stability they needs to continue blossoming. If you’re someone who understands that trust takes time and are ready to offer Edith and Agnes the gentle guidance they deserves, they'll reward you with quiet loyalty and tender moments that feel truly special. If you're interested in meeting them please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in them!)
