Story
Jolie was a stray with her 4 pups in Cedartown, Georgia and ended up in the shelter,  She currently weighs 48 lbs and would need to be introduced slowly with other dogs since we don't know her back history.  She loves to ride but barks when big trucks pass by on the interstate so not sure if she had a bad experience with trucks blowing their horns at her while she was running free and especially when she became a mother.  She is heartworm negative.  She know a couple of commands such as "sit" and to waits at the door for you to tell her to go out.  She requires a fenced yard and is like "Superman"  is able to leap tall building in a single bound.  If you have ever met her at one of our adoption events you would think she has springs in her feet. ##2225867##

Story
Hi! I’m Bane, the senior dog with a love for Kong toys. I came from a shelter as a young dog because I was picked up as a stray since where I lived wasn't very nice so I left. They didn't come looking for me so that was lucky for me because I didn't want to go back. I was adopted once but unfortunately I didn't care for the smaller dog in the home. I will bark when I need to go out to potty but you better be quick because unfortunately I will potty in my crate (which guarantees me clean linens almost each day - pretty smart huh?) I do get along with my other doggie companions but they do their thing and I do mine outside in the yard.  I'm pretty independent. I look for my Kong in the toy box and I'm fine just chillin in the yard.  I do have autoimmune disease so I receive a daily antihistamine to help with the snotty nose.  Want to hear something funny, I love to roll myself up in my bed linens at night to sleep.  You wouldn't even know I was there.  If you're interested in giving me a forever home please make sure I have a nice fenced yard to enjoy outside playtime with my Kongs. ##984207##

Story
Hello, I'm Cedric, a seasoned soul who values my independence.  I was an owner surrender when I was a puppy along with my other 5 siblings. My siblings all were adopted but unfortunately I have made it to seniorhood without finding a forever home.  I'm protective of my house so I'm not keen on strangers coming in so I have to be crated.  I'm a big male of about 90 lbs. I broke my leg back in 2019 so having to have crate rest to heal put on the extra pounds.  I do have a few doggie friends that I go out with but I'm okay being a loner and enjoying naps. I enjoy spending time in a fenced backyard and dream of a home where I can continue my tranquil lifestyle, perhaps with someone who appreciates a loyal companion without the fuss. If you cherish serene days and gentle companionship, I might just be your perfect match. ##984206##

Story
Giselle is a 8 yr old senior dog (date of birth 07/22/2017) that should have been spayed many years ago.  She ended up as a pregnant stray with her 11 month old daughter Adelaide in tow when picked up by Cobb County Animal Services.  She can be selective with other dogs and may prefer being an only dog.  She will surf the kitchen counter if your back is turned.  Absolutely no cats and must have a totally fenced yard.  She is very affectionate and loves riding in the car.  She is heartworm negative and does bark so apartment living is probably not ideal.  She will be spayed on 10/21/25. ##2542175##

Story
Kenzie is a sweet chilled puppy.  She is still teething so she likes to nibble on you.  She currently guards her food with a warning growl to other dogs but takes treats very gentlely from your hand.  She is doing pretty well with her potty training.  We recommend older children and not toddlers or younger than 7 years old. ##2642559##
