Story
Last year in August a dog shelter was doing an adoption event right outside my last job at tractor supply. Luna is 2 years old, very nice, great with other dogs, protective , smart but she has her moments lol, she is very active loves to play but when she is bored she likes to make a mess, she is scared of plastic bags and the retractable dog leashes, she is defensive of her food so I do not recommend her eating around other dogs and she is protective of her owner like anyone who is not family or friends who are around her a lot she is gonna give off warnings to. I am hoping to find her a safe and loving home with an owner who can love her and give her the attention she deserves. btw she is a border collie/cattled dog

Story
Mister, the Good Enough Boy We adopted Mister maybe 10 years ago or so. My son who was 7 years old at the time had night terrors, but Mister slept with him every night to comfort him. My son is grown, and now we have grandbabies in the house. We jokingly call Mister the sheriff, because he wants to put an immediate stop to all loud noises and any ruckus! This does not go well with a 4 year old who just wants to play with his Papaw. Mister nipped the grandbaby while playing with Papaw, and that was the point when we knew it would be better for him to be in a quiet home with no young children. Mister is house trained. He sleeps in his crate at night which I will send with him. He loves to run around in the open (parks woods, etc). He really has such great qualities, and it is tearing me up to do this, but my grandson comes first! He will be a great companion for someone calm and quiet.

Story
Hello, Ive had biscuit for about two years now and Im going to be honest it has been a challenge. Biscuit is an active dog and with me living in an apartment he isnt getting much stimulation as he needs, which is causing conflict hes never sitting down. Before you think he is an untrained dog think again, he is well trained and knows all his commands and listens but hes an active teenage dog who needs space to run and play. Another word hes bored. His personality is top tier its like have a cat and dog all in one with big dog energy. He is not the best off leash he will need to be leashed at all times because of his prey drive but he has been around cats and smaller dogs. Its the big dogs he thinks he can beat lol. Why am I putting biscuit up for adoption? I have another year on my leash and I do not have an active lifestyle. Since he is still young I want him to live a lifestyle where Im not yelling at him to sit down. Please message for more.

Story
Buster is an American Staffordshire and German Shepherd mix. 1 of 4 adorable siblings, he was born April 2025 to a very special Mama — a sweet stray who came to us skinny and exhausted from fending for herself. Once she trusted us, a vet visit revealed she was not more than a year old and expecting four pups. She’s been the most loving, gentle mama ever since. Raised in a happy home with their Mama – and Nana’s dog who took on a fatherly role – the pups are well socialized, confident, affectionate, and even get along with cats. Buster is a gentle, sweet boy who loves to have fun - and to sleep! He is neutered, fully vaccinated and won’t need shots until July/Aug 2026. He has been on flea/worm prevention from the start. He’s still being leash trained but is a great learner. We are looking for serious adopters only who understand the commitment of giving a loving, kind, caring home. If this is you, please reach out.
