Story
I got Moodie from a pet store in Brooklyn, NY in December 2020. His birthday is 10/08/2020. I moved to ATL in 2021 with him and he’s been my road dog ever since. He’s funny and full of energy. He walks 2 times a day but 3 is ideal. He loves kids and would be the happiest dog if you have some. He is more of a burst of energy vs endurance so 15-30 min walks will suffice and a little tug of war in the house is all he needs. As time goes on, it has been harder to support his needs and I really want to find someone who loves him so much!

Story
Making the difficult decision to rehome Milo due to another dog in the house suddenly unable to even be in the same room as him. Milo is well behaved and does not react but unfortunately has had to be separated and he does not do well being apart. He is crate trained and uses pee pads as needed but if on a regular schedule he will not potty inside. Milo is great with kids and is gentle, walks with him are calm and easy as he does not delay at all and loves to just sit and smell the air. I adopted him from someone on Craigslist so I don’t have his history from before me but he’s in perfect health. He does struggle with being alone and will whine but settles and quiets if told to. He’s honestly an amazing dog that just isn’t thriving with me and he deserves a home with more freedom. Will provide bag of his food with storage container, bowls, leash and collar, bed and blanket, and crate if needed. I really want him to go to a good home.

Story
Meet Charlie – Your Pocket-Sized Best Friend with a Big Heart  Charlie is a 2–3 year-old Yorkie/Schnauzer mix weighing around 16 pounds, and he is pure joy wrapped up in a small, scruffy package. Charlie greets life with a happy, playful spirit that’s impossible not to smile at. Charlie is incredibly social and would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can be his buddy for zoomies, games, and backyard adventures. He’s a lover boy who not only loves to be held, but also a toy-loving, fun-chasing, tail-wagging kind of boy… honestly, he might pick his toys over food if given the choice! His happiest moments are running freely in a fenced yard with his doggie friends, playing, exploring, and also being part of the action with his people. ✨ What makes Charlie special: Friendly, social, and affectionate with everyone Loves other dogs and would adore a playmate Energetic, playful, and full of happy personality About 16 lbs—perfect small companion size Thrives with space to run and play Charlie is also a homebody at heart and would do best in a stable, loving home where he can stay close to his person and enjoy a predictable, comforting routine.  A little note from his care team: Charlie does require daily eye medication and may need ongoing eye drops long-term. It’s simply part of his care routine—and it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He takes it all in stride, and it’s a small thing compared to the huge amount of love, joy, and companionship he gives every single day. Because when you meet Charlie, you don’t see “medication needs”—you see a happy little dog with the sweetest soul, the gentlest heart, and a personality that fills an entire room. He’s the kind of dog who makes life lighter, funnier, and a whole lot more loving.  April 26, 2026, 3:33 pm

Story
Cross is a handsome 9 year old male, Shepherd mix...a darling boy with a huge heart. He’s a big boy, around 70 lbs. Cross is a Shepherd mix, maybe part retriever because he loves to retrieve tennis balls so much. He was actually obtained on Craigslist then abandoned at a local boarding kennel. He lived at the kennel for several years until finally finding his foster home.  Cross is shy at first around new people, but is very affectionate after he gets to know you. Once he does, he is SUPER loving. His favorite best friend is Ginger, a mini lab mix also up for adoption. They were both abandoned around the same time and have been best buddies for years. If they got adopted together it would be AMAZING! But this is not required. Cross MUST have a medium size, playful female in the home. He cannot be the only dog as he would be lonely. He does best with female dogs. He can be very shy with men, as men didn't treat him the best early in life.  He really needs a female in his home, as well as a tall fenced yard. The ideal home for Cross is a woman in her 40’s-50’s who’s still active, can be married but any man will need to have a sweet, loving personality to win him over. Also a home with a tall fence and a playful female dog, or who can adopt Ginger too!March 15, 2026, 12:10 am
