Story
Ellie is young at heart even though she has arthritis. She does not let height keep her away from cuddles and a little play time. She is a quiet dog and likes to spend a lot of time napping, but is not a fan of thunder, fireworks, or noises that resemble this. She is not shy when it comes to meeting new people, which is a blessing most days. The reason she needs a new home is that I have found that I cannot afford to maintain her medical needs due to her daily incontinence problems. I believe that she needs more special attention, and with my work and extracurricular activities, I am unable to provide that for her. She adores children and can meet their energy until she is ready to take a nap. It would be great to see her go to someone special and get more love. Her vet records are up to date.

Story
Bo is an American Fox hound full of personality! He was abandoned and tied to a tree when he was found approx 10 months ago. His name was inspired by the Dukes of Hazard, Bo Duke. He is incredibly athletic and would love an active home/person. He should get along with most other dogs, best if the dog is more his size or bigger. He is very low key during the day and very content to sleep most of it. He is happy to hang in his crate and does not get anxious or destructive. He has learned most commands, sit, stay, OK, down, shake, and most important comes when you call his name! House broken. He doesn't seem to be afraid of much, curiously confident. He is a very sweet and happy dog! He would be a great tracking dog, his nose is incredible, like most hound dogs. Bo was originally just going to be a foster, but I wanted to have more control over who his new Mom or Dad would be, so we adopted him. Bo is ready for his new forever home.

Story
Bossier (bow-zhr) is a 33 lb., 2.5 yo silken windhound. She is a pure joy. She has been trained to Intermediate Obedience and Tricks. She knows: paw, spin, roll over, crawl, come, sit, wait, go to place, drop it, leave it & more. She is good with loose-leash walking, but may forget when she sees a squirrel. She totally enjoys time at a dog park. She is comfortable staying home all day. She fetches and plays “tug” gently. She would be an excellent family dog. I am rehoming her because I don’t have a yard. I walk Bossier several times a day. She can be leash reactive & I live in a community with many other dogs. With training, Bossier is better when she sees another dog, and will follow heel/sit command. A home with a yard where she may chase lizards, sunbathe & do her business would be heaven. I have had Bossier for just over a year, getting her from an 8 yo girl who said that she was unable to care for her well. Bossier has come a long way and she deserves even better.

Story
Two is better than one is how the saying goes and thats true of Makarlee and MyLena. This dynamic duo is a bonded pair&#44 possibly sisters. These girls are very shy&#44 but after some time in a home&#44 have become more confident and have learned to walk on a leash. They have done well meeting new people&#44 including kids. Makarlee is the braver of the two. They both are dog friendly and MyLena here again takes the lead from her sister. MyLena definitely looks to her sister for comfort and direction. We believe they are potty trained. If youve got a calm household and have a hankering for a double dose of gorgeous&#44 shy shepherdy girls&#44 come meet them today.
