Story
We are seniors and adopted peanut and piglet ( daughter and mother) from a shelter near Chattanooga TN in 3/23 after our dog passed of old age and illness in 2/23. We had planned to adopt a poodle but she turned out to have serious biting issues. We love the girls but they were untrained and can’t deal with other dogs though they are good with our 5 year old granddaughter. We can’t train them we did get them vaccinated and spayed and microchipped

Story
We actually have the two, Piglet the mother who is about four and Peanut the daughter about three. We got them from a shelter about two years ago but they really need more space and my wife and I are seniors with tight schedules and are unable to give them as much time outside and attention as they deserve. They are quite affectionate but rambunctious. Good with even small kids (including our granddaaughter who visits often) but not so with other dogs.

Story
What did you notice first? My deep almond eyes? My gorgeous ears? Perhaps my beautiful golden amber fur? My solid stature? While I'm glad you may have noticed my appearance, I really hope you can admire my personality. I'm Pawpa Smurf! I am an easy going old mutt who loves butt rubs more than Taylor Swift loves relationships! I love humans of all ages, genders & pronouns. Please be respectful though...sometimes I just wanna lay down and sleep. Who doesn’t? I tolerate some other dogs OK (but I need to be the ONLY furball in the home). Trust me, I'll give you so much love you won’t even think about any other pooches. Plus, being 10 yrs old is a blessing & my wisdom is priceless. I don't chew anything other than food. I don't jump on people or sofas. I'm just seeking a good human to love me in my golden years (and maybe get a few butt scratches while I'm at it). -20 min walk or hike/day -Good w/ *respectful* kids -NO CATS -Preferably no stairs -Exceptional emotional support buddy

Story
Wally is ready to find his forever home! You may remember Wally as one of the dogs we pulled the day they were supposed to euthanized for space at a high intake metro shelter. He’s come so far since then, building confidence and making new friends! He’s ready for his forever home, and we need your help! Adoptions are at an all time low, so it’s critical that Wally’s post be shared so that people who are looking to adopt will see it. Wally is around a year old and weighs around 40lbs. He’s done well with the dogs he’s met with us, he’s met respectful older elementary aged kids and loved them, and even met a dog savvy cat and did well. He can be shy at first but warms up quickly. He walks well on a leash, is crate trained, and has completed an obedience training course. His adoption will include a lesson with his trainer. So if you’ve been looking for a trained dog, here’s your opportunity! Wally is the sweetest boy who just needs a chance to show someone how special he is. Could that someone be you?!? Submit an application to meet him today! Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Adopting from Releash Atlanta means you will adopt a dog that has been fully vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped and medically cleared!! Our adoption fee is $350 **We only adopt to families in/around Atlanta, Ga (about a 1-2 hour perimeter)** If you are interested in any of our dogs, please visit https://releashatlanta.com/adoptable-dogs.php to either view more of their profile or to apply to adopt! Story
BELLA is a tiny 8 lbs, and estimated to be 3 1/2 months old. She was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in North Georgia and she is oh so grateful as she loves to run and play! Bella is playful she loves alllll the toys, especially chew bones and squeaky plush toys. She is SO friendly, she follows her people and will cuddle with strangers. She enjoys a good head and neck rub. Try to keep those soft pointy ears down I dare you! Bella is crate trained with no messes at night and will potty outside when she is brought out frequently. Can stay in a crate for 4 hour periods during the day. The ideal home for Bella is an active home with lots of cuddle and play opportunites throughout the day. She likes all people but would be best with children ages 8 and up or mature enough to understand her puppy teeth need to stay busy. She has enjoyed the company of her foster sister ( 7 year old lab) and brother (3 year old King Charles mix). Bella equally loves runni g around the yard with the two teenagers in her foster home. If you are ready for a tiny bundle of joy, and the sweetest puppy lap naps, meet BELLA! Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids! Story
No kids please. Meet Rex! The spunky and lovable Chihuahua with a heart of gold! This little pup may be small, but he packs a big personality. Rex takes time to warm up to new friends, but once you've earned his trust, he’ll shower you with affection and even likes to play! See, Rex is more of a slow burn, not a quick spark. He needs time to get to know you, to sniff out your intentions, and to decide whether you're worthy of his love. But with patience, consistency, and a gentle touch, this little Chihuahua will become your most loyal companion. Rex is just shy of 7 years old and weighs 10lbs. He loves to snuggle up in his dog bed and LOVES treats! A home without kids, and/or where he can have his own space when kids are over to visit will be best for him. We think Rex may have been hurt at some point prior to coming to us (maybe unintentionally) so it just takes time for him to trust. Rex has met a small dog with us and a dog savvy cat and has done fine. We think he could possibly do well in a home with pets similar to these (dog savvy cat or a small, laid back dog) or could thrive as an only pet. So, if you're looking for a furry friend who will keep you on your toes and steal your heart, Rex is the perfect pup for you! Thank you for your interest in one of our furry kids!
