Story
We found Dui a little over 3 years ago roaming the streets near us, almost starved and in poor health. We were able to bring him into our house with our other dog (also a rescue) and immediately fell in love with him. He has grown into a healthy, active young dog. We did a DNA test and found that he is 60% pit bull, 17% Chihuahua, 9% boxer, and 14% "SuperMutt". He is strong, loves to play tug of war, and loves to run. He is a bit jumpy when meeting someone (and shakes a bit probably due to the Chihuahua in him). But, he calms down fairly quickly. He loves to snuggle, whether on the couch or on the bed. He loves the heat, laying outside in the sun on our back deck or in front of the fireplace during the winter. He really could use a bigger back yard to run. We'd love to keep him in moving, but he's really too strong for my wife (she has some health issues) and we're afraid it would be too cold for him up north.

Story
I got my dog when he was a puppy, and he’s been a loyal companion ever since. He’s currently 3 years old and has a very sweet personality. He forms strong bonds with his person. At first, he can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he feels comfortable, he really warms up and shows how affectionate and loyal he is. He’s very protective of the people he loves and likes to stay close to his owner. I would describe him as loyal, protective, and loving. He enjoys attention and does best with someone who can give him time and patience while he settles in. I’m preparing to travel out of state for several months and unfortunately can’t take him with me. Because of that, I’m hoping to find him a stable and caring home where he’ll get the attention and consistency he deserves. Ideally, he would do well with someone who understands dogs and is willing to give him time to adjust and build trust.

Story
It truly breaks my heart to have to make this decision, but due to unexpected life changes and financial hardship, I’m no longer able to give my Rottweiler the time, space, and stability they deserve. My work situation has changed, and I’m not home enough to provide the attention and structure this breed needs to thrive. This has nothing to do with their behavior — they are loyal, loving, protective, and full of personality. Rottweilers need consistent training, exercise, and companionship, and I want to make sure they go to a home that can give them that long-term commitment. My priority is finding a responsible, stable home with someone experienced with large breeds (preferably Rottweilers) who understands their strength and intelligence. I’m committed to making sure they go to the right person, not just the first person. This is one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make, but it’s being done out of love and wanting the best future possible for my dog.

Story
My name is Nestle and I am 13 years old. I was adopted 6 years ago in Seattle and have been apart of a big family.. at one point I lived with a 20 year old toy poodle, I even lived with a 4 month old puppy. That being said, i just like being the only dog. I like chasing squirrels and napping. I only need to go outside twice a day and you will know when because I sit at the door and whine:) I don’t play a ton. I just like occasional pets and belly rubs and in exchange, I will clean any food you ever drop on the floor ever again. Sweet deal right? I don’t bark much. And when I do it’s reserved for squirrels. Sure I’ll sleep in your bed if you’re into that kind of thing but I really prefer a cot on the floor.
