Story
Minnie is an energetic 7-year old 110-lb female who loves walks and sleeping on the couch while being covered in blankets (she is demanding about the blankets). She has had a sensitive stomach her whole life but we figured out the right food for her during her first year. She has had gastropexy surgery when she was a puppy. She is great with our cat and also LOVES laying outside in the sunshine on a nice open backyard. She regularly goes to doggy daycare and has gone through professional 3-week bootcamp. She is a barker at home and protective but outside of the house she gets along with people and other dogs just fine. She is crate trained and can be left out without any destruction. She loves sleeping in bed but we have recently trained her out of that but I'm positive she would be happy to go back to sleeping in bed. She is not a drooler. We've had her since she was a puppy and she has been amazing, kind, and low maintenance as well. !!! No little children !!!

I would love love love for her to go to a good home. She is fully potty trained & crate trained. She knows: sit, lay down, speak, paw. She is really good with children, and other dogs, any size. Please consider bluey as your new forever furry friend ❤️

Story
Hi there! My name is LJ and I am a 5-6 year old male Chihuahua/Terrier mix who is looking for a loving forever home with a family who is patient and caring. You see, I can be a little nervous in new situations and around new people. It takes me a bit of time to learn how to trust new people and warm up in new situations. My foster mom says I am a sweet boy who wants to trust and love, but hasn't had the best of experiences in the past. I get along with other dogs in my foster house and am doing well at doing my personal business outside. I went to the doggy doctor and got all of my vaccines and am neutered too! My ideal adoptive family is one that has a quiet home, kids over 13 years of age with dog experience, a fenced yard, and a family who is patient, calm, and understanding of my initial nervousness. If you have a loving heart, are understanding of my scary past experiences, and are willing to be patient and kind to me as I learn how to trust you, I promise I'll be your bestest friend. If you would like to apply to adopt me to be come a part of your family, please visit www.nbsar.org to fill out an adoption application. Once approved to adopt, we will connect you with my foster family to learn more about me and set up a time to meet me. Even if I might not be the right fit for your family, won't you please help me find my happily ever after by sharing my profile with your family and friends who might be a good fit for me?
