Meet Scout 🐾💙 Scout is a handsome, incredibly smart boy who’s been searching for his forever home for two years—and through it all, he hasn’t given up hope… and neither have we. This treat-motivated superstar loves learning new things and truly shines when he has a job to do. Whether it’s long walks, agility courses, sniff work, or car rides, Scout is always ready for his next adventure. And after a day of fun? He’s more than happy to curl up on a cozy bed for a well-earned nap. Scout is a very sweet dog who enjoys playing with other dogs outside of the home. However, when it comes to his castle, he prefers to have it all to himself and would do best as the only pet. He’s also looking for a home without children under 16, so he can feel safe, comfortable, and set up for success. Scout will need multiple meet-and-greets to ensure a smooth transition into his new home. He is currently on anxiety medication, which he will need to continue, and he truly thrives with patient, understanding adopters who are willing to support his needs and cheer him on. In return, Scout will give you unwavering loyalty, companionship, and a lifetime of love. He’s waited so long for someone to see just how special he is—could that someone be you? - Almost 6 years old - Currently just under 75lbs - Good with dogs outside the home since he prefers his things to stay HIS - Can do doggy playdates outside the home - No cats in the home - Prefers kids 16+ - Adoption fee: $175 *sponsored* This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Meet your future best friend, Martini 🐾✨ This puppy is a perfect bundle of energy, curiosity, and irresistible cuteness—but like all puppies, Martini is still learning how to be the best dog possible. Continued basic training will be needed, including leash skills, crate training, potty training, and everyday manners. With a growing body and a busy brain, puppies need structure, enrichment, and positive outlets for energy to prevent overstimulation, mouthiness, or the development of unwanted habits. A home committed to consistency, patience, and mental and physical exercise will help Martini grow into a confident, well-balanced adult dog. With the right foundation, the possibilities are endless! 💛🐶 -Around 2 months old -Currently under 15lbs -Good with kids, cats and dogs -Adoption fee: $400 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. Story
Meet ✨Dami✨ — a beautiful, intelligent girl with a thoughtful personality and the classic brains and drive that come with a herding breed. Dami can be a little reserved when first meeting new people and situations, preferring to take her time to observe and feel comfortable before fully opening up. Once she begins to trust you, though, her sweet and loyal personality truly starts to shine. As a herding dog, Dami is incredibly smart and thrives when she has both mental and physical outlets. She’s the kind of dog who enjoys having a “job” to do, whether that’s learning new skills, going on adventures, working on training, solving enrichment puzzles, or staying active alongside her people. Without enough stimulation, her busy herding-dog brain can easily become bored, so she’s looking for a home that understands the importance of enrichment, routine, and structure. Dami would do best with a patient family willing to let her warm up at her own pace and help continue building her confidence through positive experiences. She isn’t the type of dog to instantly jump into every situation, but with time, kindness, and consistency, she forms deep bonds and becomes an incredibly rewarding companion. She’s searching for a forever home that will appreciate both her sensitive side and her intelligent working-dog nature. With the right guidance, plenty of enrichment, and lots of love, Dami has all the potential to grow into an amazing best friend and loyal partner for life. ✨ - Around 4 years old - Currently 45lbs and on track to lose a couple pounds - Prefers to be the only dog in the home - Adoption fee: $175 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Story
Meet little Miss Faline — 💕 Hi, I’m Faylene… but my close friends call me Sweet Mama, a tiny Chihuahua with a gentle soul and the sweetest little personality. I’m approximately 8 pounds of pure devotion, sweetness, a dash of spunk, and blanket burrowing expertise. My favorite place in the world? Under the covers, snuggled up as close to my human as physically possible. Personal space is not really my thing. Once I pick my person, that’s it. You’re mine. I’ll follow you from room to room like your tiny, adorable shadow because honestly, why would we ever need to be apart? I’m also what some might call a “one queen castle” kind of gal. Other dogs? Hard pass. I prefer to be the center of attention, as nature clearly intended. I enjoy walks, car rides, good food, squeaky toys I can proudly parade around the house, and supervising all household activities. I’m potty trained… unless it’s raining or the grass is wet. In that case, I fully support indoor potty pads because I believe discomfort is unnecessary and frankly beneath me. Can you blame a girl? If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick, professional snuggler, and tiny best friend with a big personality, I may just be your perfect match. She finds comfort in other dogs and enjoys having calm canine companions around to help her feel safe and confident. One of Faline’s absolute favorite things in the world is burrowing under a soft blanket for the coziest naps imaginable — if there’s a warm blanket nearby, chances are you’ll find her tucked underneath it! 🐾 Faline is looking for a patient, loving home that will let her settle in gently and give her the time she needs to feel secure. Once she trusts you, you’ll have the sweetest little cuddle buddy by your side. - Around 2 years old - Currently just under 10lbs - Adoption fee: $300 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com.
