Sarti is a gentle senior girl with a heart full of quiet love, and she's ready to spend her golden years curled up beside someone special.
Sarti has come a long way. When she first arrived, she was shy, timid, and a little trembly, unsure of the world around her. With patience, soft words, and plenty of cozy blankets, she has blossomed. Her foster has watched her sweet, spunky personality peek through as she's started feeling better, and nothing melts hearts quite like the happy tail wags she now gives when her person walks into the room.
Sarti's favorite activity is simple: being close to you. She's a world-class snuggle buddy who would happily spend the whole day nestled in bed beside her human. When she drifts off to sleep, her little tongue pokes out and she snores softly, and it's every bit as adorable as it sounds.
She's a calm, low-energy lady who doesn't need long walks or games of fetch. A soft bed, a warm lap, and maybe a ride in a doggy stroller for some fresh air are all she needs to be content. Sarti has no teeth left, so your shoes and furniture are completely safe, and she has never once been heard barking.
Sarti gets along wonderfully with other dogs. She loves cuddling up with her foster brother at night, and she's content being home with her canine pals when her person is away. She has shown no interest in cats and has a low prey drive. She hasn't met children yet, but her gentle nature suggests she'd do well with calm, respectful kids. She's shy with new people at first but friendly once she settles in and knows that you are safe.
A few things her new family should know: Sarti needs to wear a diaper, as she's no longer able to hold her bladder. She sleeps in bed with her foster family (with a little caution, since she can occasionally tumble out), and she isn't crate trained. She feels safest in familiar surroundings and prefers to be near her person, so a home where someone is around often, or where she has doggy companions, would suit her best.
Sarti may not be the most active or playful pup, but she has so much love to give. She deserves a soft place to land, a patient heart, and someone who will keep her comfortable and cherished for the rest of her days.
