Story
Meet Venti, a resilient and beautiful 1.5-year-old pup who is officially ready to find her forever family after a bumpy start to life. When Venti was first rescued as a stray, she was severely underweight at just 37 pounds. Shortly after her rescue, she faced another major hurdle when she was diagnosed with parvo. Thanks to quick, life-saving medical treatment, this brave girl fought hard and responded beautifully to her care. Now, just a month later, she is absolutely thriving, gaining weight, and currently weighing in at a healthier 40ish pounds. Venti is a complete sweetheart with a gentle demeanor that makes her a wonderful companion. She absolutely loves other dogs and would likely excel in a home with children who can match her loving nature. While she is fantastic with other canines, her history with cats is currently unknown. This sweet girl is currently waiting in a boarding facility, and is desperate for a cozy couch and a home to finally call her own. She needs a family ASAP to show her what a true forever home feels like. If you are interested in adding this beautiful, loving survivor to your family, please submit your adoption application today. *1.5 years old *40 lbs. of GORGEOUS *Up to date on vaccines and was parvo tested and is now negative (YAHOO) *Spayed *Dog Friendly *Doing great with potty training *Crate Trained *Such a sweet dog APPLY TODAY: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Meet Blue! This 3.5 year old goofy, kissing-obsessed boy is looking for his forever family — and by "family," he means people AND dogs, because Blue believes life is better with a buddy by his side. Blue is what we like to call "independently dependent." He'll happily do a lap around the yard, splash in his pool, or chew on a toy... but only if he knows you're still around. The second he senses you're settling in for the night, he's crawling into your lap to deliver what can only be described as a million kisses. This ball of love and energy gets along with everyone — dogs, cats (he just politely ignores them), and every stranger he's ever met (seriously, worst guard dog ever). Blue is looking for a home with another dog friend already in the family, or a family ready to adopt in pairs. Blue's favorite things: splashing in his pool, wrestling with his dog pals, giving kisses (so many kisses), and just being wherever you are. *3.5 years old *48 lbs. of HANDSOME *Neutered, UTD on vaccines and microchipped *Dog, Cat and Kid Friendly *Potty Trained APPLY TODAY: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Meet Indi Some dogs make you work to earn their trust. Indi isn't one of them. Despite being rescued off the streets, this 50 lb pittie mix walked into rescue with his heart wide open — and it hasn't closed since. Indi greets every single person like they're the best part of his day. No hesitation, no reservations, just pure, easy affection. He's playful and cuddly in equal measure, happy to share his toys without a shred of possessiveness, and he genuinely lights up around other dogs — he's done great on every dog meet so far and clearly loves having buddies to romp with. Couch snuggles, backyard playtime, golf cart cruises — Indi doesn't need anything fancy, he just wants to be wherever you are. He's a smart, eager-to-please guy who's already picking up "sit," doing well with leash walking, and nailing his potty breaks on lead. He genuinely wants to get it right, he just needs a patient person willing to keep showing him the ropes — and honestly, that eagerness makes him a joy to train. A couple of honest notes: Indi once escaped his yard, though it was less "master escape artist" and more "stood on the other side looking confused about how he got there" — so a secure yard or supervised outdoor time will help keep his adventures limited to backyard zoomies. He's also blind in one eye from an old injury, but you'd genuinely never know it. It hasn't dimmed his enthusiasm for life even a little. Indi isn't just looking for a home — he's ready to pour everything he has into one. If you want a dog who will meet you at the door with his whole heart every single day, he's your guy. Indi is 1.5 years old, neutered, utd on vaccines, microchipped, fecal tested. Dog and kid friendly. Apply here: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Meet Dina & Dante: A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home! Dina and Dante are an adorable bonded pair of Chihuahuas searching for a patient and loving home. While they can be shy when meeting new people, their sweet personalities shine through once they feel safe and secure. Dina is a 2-year-old bundle of personality. Once she’s comfortable, she’s playful, energetic, and always ready for fun. She loves going on walks where she can stop to sniff and explore the world at her own pace. At home, you’ll often find her zooming around, playfully tackling Dante during their wrestling matches, keeping the yard safe from squirrels, or stretched out in a sunny spot for a cozy nap. Dante is a 3-year-old sweetheart with a gentle soul. He can be very shy at first, but once you’ve earned his trust, you’ll discover just how affectionate he is. Dante’s favorite way to show his love is by rolling over to offer his belly and asking for face rubs. He absolutely melts when you rub his ears and cheeks. While Dina may enthusiastically pounce on him during playtime, Dante’s response is usually to roll onto his back and happily let her win. His energy level is a little more relaxed than his best friend’s—he’s happiest napping in a sunny spot or quietly people-watching from a safe distance. Together, Dina and Dante balance each other perfectly. Dina brings confidence and playful energy, while Dante offers a calm, gentle presence. Their bond is undeniable, and they look to one another for comfort, security, and companionship. They would thrive in a calm home with adopters who understand that trust takes time. *Bonded pair *Dina 2 years old 7 lbs. *Dante 3 years old 9 lbs. *UTD on vaccines *Fixed (neutered and spayed) *Microchipped *Pee Pad Trained Apply TODAY: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
I'm Watson, a 2-year-old fluffy heart-throb with one life goal: make friends with every dog I meet and convince them we're now besties forever. If another dog is heading off on an adventure, I'm already packed and ready to follow them to the ends of the earth. I need a bestie in my life. Bonus points if they like zoomies! Speaking of zoomies... I have two speeds: GO! GO! GO! and upside-down sleeping potato. If someone wants to wrestle, chase, or romp around the yard, I'm all in. But my preferred sleeping position is flat on my back with all four paws in the air, because dignity is overrated. I'm also a professional cuddle enthusiast... for about five minutes. Then I remember I'm wearing this luxurious fluffy coat, get too warm, and relocate to the cool floor. It's not personal—it's just physics. Air Conditioning = Life. I'm pretty sure I was a polar bear in my previous life I'm friendly with people, and love love love other dogs. I'm curious about everything, convinced every toy is the best toy ever made (but balls are definitely a fav), and that every treat has the finest ingredients. I'm house trained and ready for family life. Crates aren't really my thing yet, I'm a little claustrophobic. But I promised my foster mom to not eat her shoes if she leaves me free roaming in a room, and I am a dog of my word! I would much rather just be right beside you anyway, so I'll do best with a patient family willing to help me build confidence. *1 year old *60 lbs. of handsome *Neutered, UTD on vaccines and microchipped *Potty Trained *LOVES dogs Apply TODAY! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Meet Birdie. This adorable 30-pound brindle girl found herself as a stray in the county shelter, and the moment we saw her one-of-a-kind smile, we knew we had to help her. Birdie is technically a hospice case. Her bloodwork is wonky, she has multiple mammary tumors, and she can't undergo anesthesia — so surgery isn't an option for her. We don't know exactly how much time she has, but we believe she has enough good days ahead of her to enjoy a real home, a soft bed, and someone to love her for however long that turns out to be. Please do not let this deter you, these seniors deserve a home too! She is settling into foster care beautifully. She lives with another dog and, with slow and proper introductions, does great with canine friends. She's mostly a professional couch potato who enjoys the occasional lap around the yard before heading right back to her favorite napping spot. Birdie is looking for a home without cats or young children, where she can relax, be loved, and enjoy the good life she's always deserved — for as long as she has it. What kind of dog is she?! Well, that's a great question, and your guess is truly as good as ours. She's petite, lanky, and super cute — a total mystery mix with the biggest personality. If you're looking to open your heart and home to a sweet, easygoing girl with the cutest smile around, Birdie might just be your girl. She may not have much time left, but she has so much love still to give — and so does whoever is lucky enough to give her a soft place to land. Birdie is approximately 9 years old. Fill out an application today to meet this perfect little brindle babe! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application
