Story
Dozer is the happiest ray of sunshine you will meet. He is very loyal and loves to follow ‘his human’ around like a shadow, whoever that is. He has separation anxiety so he doesn’t react well when put in a kennel/cage or behind a baby gate. If put in a kennel, he tends to bark non-stop and/or rub the top of his nose raw. He is very well behaved and potty trained so leaving him loose in your home while you are out should be no issue. For the 8+ years he has been with us there have been 1-3 other dogs in the home so he does best with a dog companion. He hasn't had much exposure to cats so it's unknown how he would do with one in the home. He can be very timid/scared when first meeting new people (especially men). After a proper introduction though they will be his new favorite person. He absolutely loves neck scratches and playing fetch with frisbees/rings. I would have loved to spend the rest of his life with him but due to my health, finances, and living situation I cannot.

Story
Kayo is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. He loves all humans, especially kids. He is a big cuddle bug. He also likes to be active and go on long walks or jogs. he was adopted from the Humane Society and did really well adapting to his new home. He does really well with other dogs. He just can be a little overbearing. He has not been around cats. He is on an allergy medication to calm his itching given once a day. Ideally, he would thrive with active owners who can give him attention. He’s house trained. He is 9 years old but has great energy and can be mellow when he needs to be. He is an amazing companion.

Story
This is Bia, she loves to cuddle and is very energetic. Very attentive. She got along with my male dog but not my female dog so I can't say how she would do with other dogs. She's ok with kids, very protective of the house. She's perfect when it comes to house and crate training, will need behavioral training.

Story
Howdy! I am the Grand Nagas Zek (named after the Ferengi on Star Trek!). My brothers and I were rescued from some pretty horrible conditions. When POET saved us, we were filthy and starving, and where covered in urine scald. They cleaned us up, gave us lots of yummy food and even better lots of love and kisses. We are still healing, but will be able to go home in a few weeks. I am the shyest of the bunch, but I was the runt and in the worst condition. My foster mom gives me lots of extra snuggles because that all I want! I am great with other dogs, kids and even cats. i will be microchipped, neutered and vaccinated prior to going home. . I would do well in most homes, but due to my breed I do require adopters be 21, own their own home and have a fence. If you are looking at adopting me, please fill out an application at poetanimalrescue.org
