Story

Got her from the shelter in Florida. She was found on the streets but they believed she was a breeding dog. She is a sweet harmless dog who is very anxious and quiet. She rarely barks (and i mean rarely). She’s non-Aggressive. She’s not good with toys either. She loves food and a nice cushion to lay on. She still thinks she is a puppy. She loves long walks. She would go on hikes with me. She does have skin condition that makes her itchy if a certain product is not used. In a new home it’s good if you have more time to devote to her. I’m single now and w/ a lot of back and forth in debating and a demanding work schedule it’s hard to devote the attention she deserves and craves.

Story

Journey is a very energetic young dog whom is driven to work (herding). He loves to go for walks, and chase the ball, and animals too. Journey has high level of energy characteristic of Border Collies. He needs to be busy fetching, or working to coral animal he sees that need to be herded. Journey needs to be in an environment where the people that own him realize that he needs daily exercise and needs to be mentally stimulated (encouraging him to be what God designed him to be....a working dog taking care of the flock). He does not interact with cats well as he want to herd them. He has been potty trained to go outside and also knows a few commands for treats such as sit, stay, shake, down and wait when coming in doors. He has crate trained. He does struggle with staying though especially when distracted when a work opportunity (herding) presents itself. He has been a patient of Integrative Veterinary Services of Southeast MI.

Meet Chandler!You will LOVE this sweet boy! My brother found him as a stray, looked for his owner with no luck, and gave him a home. He is up to date on all of his shots, is chipped, and has a crate. They believe him to be about 18 months old and a staffordshire terrier/lab mix. He has the sweetest demeanor, does well with kids and other dogs/cats, but if not watched can be a little mischievous. My brother and his family already have a dog and cat and unfortunately are unable to give him the dedication and attention he needs. They need to rehome him, sadly, but would love to see him go to àa good home and not the pound or shelter. Ruckus came into care with 3 other puppies who will all need socialization, and supervision. He will n will need puppy classes and be watched as he will consume small objects due to his background. Ruckus is being worked with in his foster home for potty training and for basic commands. He is also being crate trained. He is really becoming more confident in his foster home and loves to do zoomies and plays ball. He needs a lot of reassurance, and direction in new situations. He will eat ANYTHING and needs to be reassured regarding food is available. Not sure with kids or cats just yet. His personality is blooming in his foster home and is playing with toys now and is with other dogs in the home. He needs clear boundaries and consistency and lots and lots of snuggles. Goofy and uncoordinated with feet and ears flying in every direction. Chases his tail.

Story

Roman is a handsome one year old black Great Dane male. He is still very much a puppy with a puppy brain. Roman is a sweet boy with the most soulful eyes you have ever seen! He is a gentle boy who attaches quickly to people. Roman enjoys quiet walks with his foster parents and helping out around the house. Walks are getting better w practice on a leash. Roman has a few quirks that he needs his potential adopters to be aware of. - he has bloated, his stomach has been tacked but in situations of high stress he is a bloat risk and will need to be monitored throughout his life - Roman has shown some food and resource guarding with other dogs. He will need to be fed separately from other dogs in the home and any high value food items like treats will need to be fed with dogs separated - Roman is a bit unsure of life and how to live like a "normal" dog. He seeks the guidance of the adult in his life and will need a calm, strong, experienced giant breed owner to help him figure all of this out (rescue experience preferred) - Roman is good with other dogs but is still figuring out how to play, he does best with confident, female dogs - Roman needs SLOW socialization and exposure to new things once he has built trust with his adopter.
