Story

Norm was brought into our lives at 9 weeks old from a shelter and has been a good boy for the last few years. He has an "eeyore" like personality, loves snuggles, his big red herding ball, swimming, fetch, and FOOD. Norm is extremely trainable and food motivated and can walk quite nicely on a slip lead figure 8 attached leash. We are heartbroken that we need to rehome Norm because he really only has one behavior issue - he has shown signs of resource guarding around our 13 month old child. He has not shown aggression, just warning communication through growl/snarled lip and we're playing it safe. We have done training and he comes with lifetime support from Dog Wizard. He's familiar with training that can redirect him from poor behavior. Norm should be in a home without children, with a fenced yard, and can be with other dogs, pending introduction. He should be in a relaxed home with predictable routine. He will make the most loyal companion to someone looking for a really good boy.

Story

Jasper is a DOODLE and a July 4th birthday doggie, he's six years old and gets along with other dogs and kids. He is a amazing guard dog and is used to older people. He is very protective of his home and his people. He lives with two small dogs and is losing his home at no fault of his own. His owner is moving from MI to FL to be with her autistic grandson who doesn't understand boundaries and personal space. While Jasper is good with people he knows well, he is protective of the other dogs in his family and with this grandchild he will not understand he's autistic. Many dogs with autistic family members often do not understand the clues since autistic people don't understand social cues. Some dogs gravitate to them, other dogs are confused by the connection that is missing. Jasper is one of those dogs. He will not understand when he's grabs and pinched which is what this grand child does. We need to find Jasper a new, quiet home. A home where he can be the best of who his is. A protector of the home and his people. We are looking for a home with a fenced yard and a active person who can walk him and he can again live the life he's come to love. He loves to play, fetch and take long relaxing walks and play with other dogs. He is fixed, up to date on shots and is in desperate need of the love he's about to lose in losing his home. Story

Inu was adopted as a pup from a rescue. She was in a home with two other female labs and that really didn't work out long term very well. As she got older she became the alpha needing most of the attention. She is a great companion and a good family dog if she's the only dog in the home. She's in a big house now with a lot of property so we need a similar situation for her in that respect. A non smoking home with a active family. She'd be fine with pre teens or older. Sally is a purebred Catahoula Leopard from the Tecumseh, Mi area. She was born December 2024 and we have had her since she was 10 weeks old. My kids (ages 4 and 6) love her and she loves them; however, she does not get along with our 3 year old dog. We feel she would be great as the only dog in another home. She plays well with our senior dog but with our 3 yr old dog takes it too far and gets really aggressive. Sally loves to run run run! She is a tracking dog and my husband has worked with her on tracking his deer. We have 23 acres for her but she runs too far, she really needs a fenced in yard. I have never had to rehome a dog and this is hard for our family. She is so affectionate and loves attention. She is great in a car, never know she's with you. Sally is crate trained, we only crate her if we leave. She is a good dog but she needs to be the only dog with a fenced in yard. We want her to go to a loving home because we care for her deeply.

Beau 7 year old Male and Morgan 4 year old Female Rottweilers. We want to keep them together to whoever adopts them. They are big couch potatoes that love being outside in good weather. House broken and crate trained. Beau can be anxious around new people and mobile small children. Honestly they are both great dogs and we are really sad we need to rehome them, but having our daughter this past year and traveling a lot is hard on our two big teddy bears. They deserve to have owners that can pay them the attention they deserve.
