Story
Hi, my name is Valkyrie. I’m a 2-year-old mastiff mix (English and Neapolitan) and I’m looking for my new home. I need a home where I can be myself, which means room to move, explore and a place to relax and calm down when things get too much and a human that can provide me with the structure so I can be my best self. I also need to be the only pet, which is why I’m looking for a new situation. I am up to date on my shots and spayed and I'm ready to find my forever home.

Story
6-Year old German Shepard 🐾 Since my mom passed away, we’ve been trying to find Shadow a loving home where she can feel safe, loved, and truly part of the family. Shadow is smart, affectionate, full of personality, and knows lots of tricks. Her leash skills are improving, and with proper introductions, she can be with other dogs.Unfortunately, Shadow was recently adopted and returned after only two months through no fault of her own. We really want her next home to be her forever home.Other dogs: Yes, with proper introductionsCats: NoYoung children: NoFenced in yard preferred We’re looking for someone patient and committed who will give Shadow the love, structure, and stability she deserves.Because Shadow is so important to our family, we will be carefully screening potential adopters. For anyone we don’t personally know, we will request current/previous veterinary information and references.Shadow has allergies and takes medication to help prevent allergy symptoms

Story
Louie is a beautiful dog but has severe anxiety and behavioral issues. He resource guards and nips our 4 year old. He has severe vet anxiety and needs to be knocked out in order to be examined. He is currently on 20mg of amitriptyline and sees a behaviorist. Although he has made a ton of progress, has become too much for us to manage. He can be very sweet and would be best suited for a home without any children or other pets. Also would be best suited for an owner with experience with a pet who has anxiety.

Story
Luna is a 4-year-old, 65-lb pittie/lab/herding mix who is incredibly sweet and loving with her people. We have had her since she was 10 weeks old and want to find the right home where both Luna and her new family can thrive.Luna needs a quiet, calm, adult-only home with few visitors. We think a home with some land or on a quiet road would be ideal. She has anxiety and will need owners who are willing to work with her on this if stressful interactions are expected.Luna's strengths: Very sweet, no bite history, good with dogs, lives with a cat, can be left loose in the house, no significant health issues, no thunder/firework phobia, and has experience with an electric fence.Things to know: She is not a candidate for daycare, does not do well with busy environments/frequent visitors, and vet visits are stressful for her.Luna is a wonderful dog who needs the right environment and patient, committed owners. Our priority is finding that perfect fit for her.

Story
Milo is a sweet, devoted boy who forms deep bonds with his people. He's a bit shy when meeting new things, but he really comes out of his shell with regular exposure to public spaces, dog parks, and new people, he'll just need a little time to get re-acclimated to a new routine. When he's unsure, he's never aggressive; he simply keeps his distance, maybe shying to the other side of the sidewalk or giving a curious stare until he feels comfortable. He's undetermined around kids (not aggressive, just cautious), so a slow, patient introduction is best there. Milo is cat-friendly and genuinely enjoys their company. He'd thrive with a person who's home most of the day to give him the closeness he craves but don't let that fool you, he's also got plenty of energy and loves exercise and running. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who'll stick by your side on walks, runs, and quiet afternoons alike, Milo might be your perfect match.

Story
Our sweet Dolly is looking for her forever home. Dolly is 9 months old and in need of a human who can devote lots of love and attention to her. She is very high energy and would love space to run (and/or an owner with lots of time for lots of walks!). She is a very smart girl and would likely benefit from more training in the presence of distractions! She is motivated by treats and affection from her human. She has lived with a senior smaller dog and small children and loves both (unfortunately the feeling isn’t mutual, she is a lot of dog for little humans!). She does great in a crate overnight as long as she is in the same room as her human 🩷.
