Meet Sartorius, affectionately known as Torri! He is a 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix who has been a beloved member of our family since he was 12 weeks old. Torri is up to date on all his medical care, vaccines, and is neutered. Torri is a high-energy dog who thrives in an active environment. He loves playing frisbee and going on hikes, and he will happily cuddle up after a day of fun. While Torri is friendly and loving, he can become anxious in unpredictable situations and does not do well with children or larger dogs. However, he loves smaller dogs and would do well in a home where he is either the only dog or has companions that are smaller than him. We are rehoming Torri because we are planning to start a family, and we believe he would be happiest with an owner who can provide him with the active lifestyle he craves and a stable environment. If you're looking for a loyal companion who loves adventure and cuddles, Torri might be the perfect fit for you!

Story

This is Frodo. He is a wonderful 7 year old pup. We are looking to rehome him because he has some anxiety with young kids. We have three under three in a tiny house and it breaks my heart to see him so stressed. He has never once bit them or even seemed aggressive but he is clearly uncomfortable when they approach. It's been three years and with the addition of more children his stress has only gone up. Frodo does well with cats and dogs after he gets to know them. Initially he is anxious especially on his leash. He currently is staying with my parents who have a dog and a cat that he has zero issues with. Vets make him nervous. I haven't noticed issues with men. His breed makes him quite the watchdog so he will bark when people come to the door. He has been staying on 20 acres temporarily and he has never once tried to run away. He has zero health issues. He is currently located near Manistee so anywhere in between or around Ann arbor and Manistee is doable

Story

Rilan comes from an unknown situation but one thing we do know. He was mistreated and not cared for. He was given up by a friend of the owner and he was very skinny, He had severe and deep ear dirt and infection for a lengthy time and was clearly fed the cheapest food made. He had never been vetted or groomed. His claws curled around his paws and were so close to the pads on his paws. Luckily he fell into our care and he is the SWEETEST baby. He's well behaved, he doesn't know from toys, so he's just starting to understand what a toy is, he's a blank slate. We got him completely vetted and healthy now. He's never had a yard to play in, not familiar with leashes so hasn't been walked much. But he walks great on a leash now. He is very loving, loves to be held. He is faithful to the core and stays right by your side. Great companion doggie. He's not a fan of being in a the car and has been getting car sick in the car, so we are hoping we can turn that around. He has been groomed by our wonderful groomer, he's being vetted now and fixed, also a dental as he's never had any care for his entire life till now and he's opening up like a little flower to the affection he receives. He loves men, he's great with a dog his size and he's fine around cats. We can't understand how anyone would not care for such a sweet, loving pup who only wants to be close to a human and kissed on. Sad state of affairs people who are such tyrants can be towards an innocent pup. He's a red chestnut color, very pretty. We are looking for a foster or a adopter in a non smoking home, in a home where someone is working from home or has a opposite schedule from the person/people they live with. He really loves to be with someone all the time and he's loving playing with a dog his size so he would be happiest in a home with a dog who wants to play with him. Someone with a fenced backyard. We will not consider a apartment or a mobile park for him. Because he is so needy, we want him in a home with mature adults, older kids that are at least older teens. He will benefit from being the center of attention. He's fine with other calm dogs and with cats. Just a lovely boy who is in need of a loving, caring home. Harbor is a beautiful, sweet pup, 15 months old, Purebred with AKC paperwork. She needs a home where there is room for her and also a pet parent who has experience with Shepherds and training them. She was adopted as a young pup to someone who should not have had a dog. He lived in an apartment and had no dog experience. He went to training but thought the training was for the dog and not for him. Experienced pet owners of well behaved pets knows it's the pet parent that gets trained but not the dog they train by the trainer. Haikou is a smart dog, we are needing a non smoking home with room to move in the yard and a pet parent who has the time for a dog. She's a beautiful dog only about 45 pounds right now. But he needs a more active household and owner and a house with a fenced yard. He needs a very active pet parent. Someone who walks often and hikes, so they are outside a lot. Right now, he's in an apartment with a family who's got a bipolar person living there and it's confusing for him to read her cues. He might be great with a female dog who is super active also. He needs someone that understands his need for the breed he is. He's a mix from a hunting breed, so a home that works for a hunting breed is a HOUSE with a yard, or a home that backs up to a woods or trails. Kate was born to her mother in the household she's in now. They are still keeping the mother, but the puppies needed to be adopted out and Kate is the last one left. She is an Aussie Shepherd mix, VERY CUTE, she's smart, VERY SMART. She is needing to find a non-smoking home where they are on some land, so she has room to roam around. She is still living with her mother, but she has not been trained or worked with much. She knows some commands, but the owners have not exposed her to enough to call her socialized. She is 57 pounds. Looking for experienced adopters for her. We want a home with someone who is home most of the time, we are looking for adopter who has had a similar working breed before and knows how to handle a dog like her.
