Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
She was born May 27th 2024. She was given to the family because her father (my grandsons dog) fathered Bella’s mother. She was raised with three other dogs with no problem, as she got older and more attached to me she’s been more territorial. She will make a great watch dog. She is very lovable and sweet with most people. She knows seat, stay, come, she will bring her toys back to you. She still likes chewing things, she always takes her favorite toys out of her toy box to play with. I do believe she will make a loyal companion for one person with no other pets. It is with a heavy heart that I need to find her someone special because she is special. I feel I have no other choice. I have tried numerous things but nothing has worked. I am limited financially and cannot afford a behavior trainer which was suggested to me. I am looking for someone with experience and patience in a home with no other animals who doesn’t mind her sleeping with them. 😊 she likes to cuddle. Thank you.

Story
Goofy is ready to be fostered. He still needs to have a dental before he can be officially adopted. Goofy is higher energy but has been to a couple of events and has settled down nicely. He needs to be in a cat free home. Goofy does well with most of the dogs he has come into contact with through our fenced in yards. If you have another dog(s), a meet and greet is necessary. If interested in meeting Goofy please fill out a foster application online. You may always adopt him after we have completed his dental.

Story
Kingston is our distinguished and slightly older gentleman. He came to us as a stray, so his background is unknown. We learned that he loves to run and play in the yard. He is sweet but strong. He is getting better at leash walking. He was in a foster home briefly and decided he doesn't want to share his home with cats. His foster said he was guarded with the men he met. He has been reactive to the dogs here in the shelter, so he needs to be the one and only pet in the home. Kingston needs a home where he can curl up on the couch or a nice doggy bed and enjoy the day.

Story
Meet Boone! Boone is a sunshine-yellow lab with an equally bright personality to match. This happy guy is friendly with everyone he meets - people, kids and other dogs included! He has not had the chance to meet cats yet, so his feline compatibility is still a mystery. Boone is full of energy and enthusiasm for life. He loves heading out for walks and can't get enough of zooming around the play yard, especially when his brother Rouge is by his side. If you're looking for an active companion to keep you moving, Boone is your guy! When it comes to motivation, treats are the way to Boone's heart. He's a big fan of enrichment activities and enjoys puzzle toys like Kongs that keep his busy brain engaged. Because he gets so excited - especially at the start of walks - Boone would benefit from continued training to help him settle and learn how to relax. With consistency, patience and plenty of positive reinforcement, he's sure to thrive. Boone would do best with an adopter who can match his energy and help guide him as he learns his manners. In return, he'll reward you with endless fun, loyalty and love!
