Story
Hi, introducing Cassie: a poodle/ giant schnauzer mix with boundless energy, lots of love and endless snuggles to give. We’ve had her since fall of ‘21 when we adopted her at 7 months old from her first owner who did not give her the time she needed. She’s great with kids, loves playing with other dogs (though can get rough and is definitely ball-aggressive) and is a terrific bedhog. We’ve made the difficult decision to rehome her as she’s proven to be incompatible with our multi-species-animal lifestyle. She simply cannot co-exist with cats/rabbits/chickens etc - her prey drive is just overwhelming. We’ve tried a lot of at home training but can’t afford the “crash-course/bootcamp” stuff. Right now she spends most of her time in one bedroom to keep our other animals safe and it’s just not fair to her. She’s got her basic vaccines and has not been spayed. House-broken, does okay with recall but we do use a beeper collar to reinforce that.

Story
Andy is 13 years old. He doesn't have any health issues. We are watching him temporarily because his owner had to go into a memory care unit. He runs around for a while each day but loves to sleep a lot too, even in the day. He's a quiet little guy . He lived with his owners for the past 12 years. They were an older married couple and he led a pretty quiet life. He's friendly and has a few spurts of energy each day. If you are looking for a calm pet, this is your guy!

Story
Waffles is looking for his forever home! 10 lbs, 2 years old & the sweetest love bug. He’s shy at first but once he warms up, he’s the most affectionate dog. He loves taking naps, sitting on your lap, car rides, playing ball & just being around his person!Waffles isn’t good with smaller kids under 12. They make him nervous & timid. I would love for him to go to someone with a yard to get all his energy out & someone who is familiar with the breed!

Story
3 yr old M tan/white GSD mix Meet Duke, a handsome 3-year-old, 48 pound boy looking to find his perfect forever home! Recently rescued from SASA, this sweet boy was surrendered by his family, who said they no longer had time for him. Despite this tough start, he remains an incredibly loving and hopeful pup, eager for a new chapter with someone who will truly cherish him. According to his foster family, he’s the whole package: house-broken, crate-trained (he even puts himself to bed!), and always eager to please. He loves his toys, enjoys playtime, and gets along well with dogs his own age. With older dogs he can be a bit cautious, so he may thrive best as the only pet where he can soak up all the love and attention he craves. He’s house broken completely. He even learned how to ring the bell to go outside  What truly makes him special, his foster family says, is his affectionate nature. He seeks connection, happily leaning in for pets and companionship, and would be a loyal, loving addition to a home that wants a smart and tenderhearted companion. If you’re looking for a devoted friend, Duke is ready to fill your days with joy. Come meet him your new best buddy could be waiting! ##2561501##
