Story
Sasha is an amazing female shar-pei that acts much younger than her age. She would love an active household that includes her in activities. Sasha is very smart and takes direction/correction well. She has been fostering as an only dog, but can be good with other dogs after appropriate slow introductions and does best with dogs that are neutral or not reactive. She has been on overnights to a friends' home with small dogs, but has had less exposure to larger dogs. This girl loves to please! She loves toys, walks on a leash/harness (but could use some more practice), knows "sit", "stay", "heel" and "come", and is potty trained. She is not used to being crated at her current foster home. She may briefly barky at strangers, but warms up quickly, particularly in her foster home. Strange dogs get an equally barky reception, but with guidance and time, we believe she's totally up for a four-legged bff, but would be just as happy or happier (?) as an only dog, getting all of your attention and love! &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 Sasha loves attention and hanging out in the yard. (She would really like a yard.) She will chase the occasional squirrel and loves to bird watch. She has a lot of energy and would love regular walks and fun. But she can be a snuggly couch companion, giving eskimo kisses, too! This girl is spayed, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. She would do best in a home without small toddlers, but has been on sleepovers with kids aged 7+ without issue. Did we mention she is also drop dead gorgeous??? Sasha is fostering in Northern California (Napa area).October 21, 2024, 5:44 pm

Story
I am so sad to have to give Kala up. She is the sweetest ~3 year old dog I’ve ever had. She is an anxious and timid girl who came from a shelter without much backstory. She has moderate amount of energy and also loves to be a homebody. She is more fearful than anything else and going on walks can sometimes be hard for her when there’s a lot of stimuli. She needs a strong leader and lots of love. She is a spunky girl and so so loving, the only reason I am looking for a new home for her is because I cannot afford the time and finances to giving her the life she deserves. If you are looking for a new family member, Kala will repay you in being a gentle and loyal pet.

Story
Meet Theodore! He came into rescue as an owner surrender when they could no longer provide the time and care he needed. Theo is an adorable 4-5yr old male who is good with dogs, cats and children (was living with a 10yr old & 6yr old). Did we mention he is also crate trained? Theo needs & deserves an owner with breed experience. His coat is a work in progress and while it is improving, it will be important that his new family continue to keep him on high quality food, supplements, etc. He weighs approximately 60lbs although his ideal weight is closer to 50-55lbs. Theo has experienced rectal prolapse in the past and is currently on an Rx diet which he may need to remain for the duration of his life so please only apply if you are committed to continuing this plan for him.  We promise he is worth it! Theo is neutered, microchipped and UTD on vaccines.  He is fostering in Portland, OR.October 21, 2024, 5:44 pm

Story
Against all odds Callie with the sweet heart! Beautiful 4-year-old brindle female American Pit Bull Terrier, Callie was found abandoned and lost wandering down a road in Washington. Huck Finn! Joyful and happy ten month old 64 pound black and white male neutered male Saint Bernard/ American Pit Bull mix, current on inoculations, Huck loves everybody he meets; even going to the veterinary hospital is  an adventure. Needs a home with a large yard where he can run around and experienced dog owners, best with big dogs and children over 10 just because of his own size. Has not lived with cats so best in a home without cats. In board and train, training continues after adoption. Story
Meet Sulas, affectionately known as Sully, the lovable bundle of quirk ready to steal your heart! Born in April 2022, Sully is a stunningly handsome boy with a charming personality, ensuring he’ll make a lasting impression wherever he goes. This big, playful goof is always up for a fun romp, especially if it involves zooming around at record-breaking speeds and splashing through rain puddles. Despite his playful nature, Sully also has a mellow side and enjoys lounging around and contemplating the world around him. He's affectionate in his own laid-back way and loves nothing more than a good cuddle. Sully has outgrown the typical puppy antics and now boasts top-notch house manners and a repertoire of basic commands. Sully is an easy companion to have around with his excellent leash skills and his willingness to head to his crate, especially if there's a delicious treat waiting for him.  Sully thrives on running and playing at the dog park, so a spacious yard or easy access to a nearby park is essential for his happiness. While he's not a fan of cats or small dogs, Sully gets along famously with bigger canine companions and people of all ages and sizes. Sully is a bit of a ladies’ man, and would do best with a compatible female friend, although he could also thrive as an only dog.  So, if you’re looking for a huggable, lovable companion with a penchant for puddle-jumping and a heart full of love, Sully is your guy.
