Story

My father has been going through a rough time and is losing his home and I am unable to keep the dog as I live in an apartment, he’s really good with kids, people and cats. He doesn’t do so well with other dogs he can be a bit of a bully but likely a huge part of that is him not being neutered. he’s very sweet and loving, He loves to cuddle. He can be a bit stubborn, but he’s got a lot of character. He has spent the last few months living in a car with my father and his other dog so I’m really hoping I can find someone to take him and give him a nice home. I’m willing to pay for his shots and getting him neutered as long as I’m sure he has a home.

Story

Ivy (1 year, 6 months) is a sweet, affectionate girl who truly loves everyone she meets. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once she warms up, her loving and goofy personality really shines.She does have some separation anxiety that will need patience and consistency, but she is crate trained and sees her crate as a safe, comforting space when you’re away. Ivy would do best in a home with a securely enclosed yard where she can run and burn off her energy, and even have a sibling to play with. She’s great with cats and grew up alongside four of them, so she’s very comfortable in a multi-pet home.This decision hasn’t been easy. I’m moving across the country, and the transition would be very stressful for her, likely worsening her anxiety. With my current schedule, I’m also not able to give her the time and attention she truly deserves. My priority is finding her a home where she can thrive and be as happy as possible. She will come with all her supplies I have.

Story

Hi, introducing Cassie: a poodle/ giant schnauzer mix with boundless energy, lots of love and endless snuggles to give. We’ve had her since fall of ‘21 when we adopted her at 7 months old from her first owner who did not give her the time she needed. She’s great with kids, loves playing with other dogs (though can get rough and is definitely ball-aggressive) and is a terrific bedhog. We’ve made the difficult decision to rehome her as she’s proven to be incompatible with our multi-species-animal lifestyle. She simply cannot co-exist with cats/rabbits/chickens etc - her prey drive is just overwhelming. We’ve tried a lot of at home training but can’t afford the “crash-course/bootcamp” stuff. Right now she spends most of her time in one bedroom to keep our other animals safe and it’s just not fair to her. She’s got her basic vaccines and has not been spayed. House-broken, does okay with recall but we do use a beeper collar to reinforce that.

2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##
