Story
Hi! I’m Riddle!I’m a 2 -year-old, medium-sized Australian Cattle Mix with a big heart and aneven bigger personality.Three words my friends use to describe me: shy at first, playful, and a protector. My energy level is high, and my favorite way to spend the day is running freely!I Love: Cheese Walks and runs To be next to youI go absolutely bananas for cheddar crunchies, and I’m pretty sure cheese is thebest thing ever.Home Life:I am house trained and do well when I am reminded to not mark my territoryinside. At the end of the day, you’ll usually find me on my bed with my pillow andblankets.Social Skills: Dogs: Loves playing with dogs! Cats: Unknown Kids: Unknown New people: Scare me still and I will need time to learn everyone.I do best with 1 person at a time to help me feel safe and confident.Training & Manners:I know sit, paw and lay down and am learning how to leave it.On leash, I am doing well, occasionally I will pull but improve every day.Ideal Foster or Forever Home:My dream home would have enough space for me to run around, like abackyard.I’d love a family who give me time to show who I am and doesn’t mind taking itslow with me to show me I can trust them. Why Foster or Adopt Me?Because I bring love, laughter, and energy wherever I go.If you’re looking for a loyal companion who hears every small noise and would liketo watch me run around, I’m your dog!Ready to Meet Me?I can’t wait to meet my foster or forever family—could that be you? ##2580679##

Story
Ceasar is a 15mth old altered male kelpie mix Ceasar Hey, I’m Ceasar. I’ll be real with you — I’m still figuring this whole “new people” thing out. Meeting strangers makes me nervous, and if I feel cornered, I might snap. But here’s the thing: once I get to know you and trust you, my softer side comes out, and I can relax and be myself. The good news? I get along with dogs way easier than I do with people! They help me feel comfortable and confident. With patience, training, and someone willing to go slow, I know I can keep improving just like I did with my foster. If you’re the type of person who believes in second chances and helping an underdog shine, I’d love to be your project pup and, eventually, your best friend. ##2498991##

Story
Gandalf - 57 lb, 3 years old, Shepherd mix. This poor guy was a stray; he was caught using a dog trap. He’s shut down in the shelter environment. He’ll need an experienced, patient handler who can help him to decompress and come out of his shell. Gandalf was evaluated by staff; key observations are as follows: Tolerates gentle petting on the head; shut down; shows limited social skills with people. Overall, appears under socialized and a flight risk! Leash walking is currently very uncomfortable; he will resist, yelp, and attempt to hide. Enjoyed spending time in the yard (on leash), tolerated people being present but does not show much enthusiasm or engagement. He did take treats gently from the handler. Tested well with another male (Coffee); they were able to sit in the grass together and relax. He was also introduced to a more energetic female dog, River. He initially growled at her but then was able to coexist and allow some curious sniffing. Any future introductions to other dogs should be slow and supervised. When returning to his kennel, Gandalf walked inside on his own to hide and allowed staff to remove his leash without issue. ##2604285##
