Story
We are looking to rehome our sweet energetic mixed breed boy. We adopted Tucker from a local rescue organization at 3 months old. He is now almost one 0year old and we have realized that our family lifestyle and his energy needs do not align. Tucker is a very sweet, lovable, mixed breed, high energy boy that would make the perfect hiking and exercise companion for someone who has an active lifestyle. He loves the outdoors and to play. He is very trainable. He was potty trained in one week at 3 months old, knows how to sit for food, and lay down. He loves treats, toys, people, other pets and kids. He can get rowdy and doe not realize his size sometimes. We had a dog DNA test done and his top breeds are Labrador Retriever, Great Pyrenees, Greyhound, Boarder Collie, American Staffordshire Terrier and more (we will share the report details). He is housebroken, up to date on all shots, and neutered. We love this boy and want the best life for him, even if it isn't with us.

Story
Marlon Brando is not just a pretty face, he's also a smooth talker. . . and boy, does he have a lot to say.He is a typical Husky he's full of sass, but he is a good listener and loves to play. He's a funny guy! Marlon was found wandering along a busy highway in Eagle Creek, Oregon. He had an old, but still bleeding, injury to his tail. His tail is all healed now and he's ready for a loving home, preferably with folks who understand and appreciate Huskies. Story
Miley Cyrus lived as a mother dog who was used for breeding. She was roaming the streets when she asked the right people for help. Eager to please, Miley has completed dog training at the head of her class. As a result of her past experiences, she is mistrusting of men and loud noises. She is not aggressive, but rather simply prefers to be alone. If you are kind and gentle, and have the patience to earn her trust, Miley Cyrus might be your girl. Story
I adopted from Oregon Humane Society in 2019 when he was approximately 6 months old. I've had him for the 6 years, through 4 moves and far too many schedule changes. I was never able to give him exactly the training he needed but did the absolute best I could and he has shown promise of trainability. I am hoping to find someone that can work with him and love him as their own or get him ready for a new home without worry for the next owner. This dog is VERY TIMID and REACTIVE. He does get along well with most dogs, as you can see in the 4th picture he was always gentle with a little chihuahua terrier. His (now) unpredictability with cats is the main reason I am choosing to re-home, but I am also willing to accept that I don't have what it takes to train him into this new situation. He has separation issues. He is allergic to birds. He takes time to learn to trust and has made lunges when I've tried correcting him. I dont want him to be euthanized, please reach out if you can help!

Story
Meet Luna, a playful and affectionate 4-year-old Pit Bowl, Corgi, German Shepherd mix seeking her forever home. My husband and I temporarily rescued her from a homeless woman in January. Luna does not like being alone and looking for someone/family that is not away from the house full time. This loyal and active dog also serves as a good alert dog. She's leash-trained and enjoys walks/runs but her true passion is playing fetch, making her ideal for an active owner who can provide at least one hour of daily exercise. If you are a runner, she would love to go with you! Her ball obsession and impressive leaps make playtime pure entertainment. While fairly easy to care for Luna, her exercise needs are paramount. As current caretakers who work full time and already have two golden retrievers that need our attention we're seeking the perfect match for Luna, even though we would love to keep her. We love her deeply and that love wants the best for her.

Story
Gala is a little, shy project dog... please read her full profile before inquiring. Thank you! * Gala MUST have another friendly, outgoing dog in her future home and a fenced yard * Gala came to us with her two siblings after being dumped in a rural field in California. She has been in foster for two weeks now, learning that living inside a home is a good thing. Gala is curious of humans but not fully ready to interact. There are four other social, friendly dogs in her foster home who love people and Gala readily follows their leads and will interact more with her foster mom when the other dogs do. Gala likes to be on the couch, snuggled in blankets. She will let her foster mom pet her on the couch. She also really likes to sleep in bed cuddled up next to her foster mom at night. She holds her potty throughout the night and sleeps the whole night through. Gala will need a patient person to help her come out of her shell. We can tell she wants human interaction but she is still a little to nervous to fully engage in it. That being said, she is starting to play and if you baby talk her she is full body wiggles! Gala hasn't show any aggression and is easily picked up as needed. Gala is learning to walk on leash and coming along nicely with that. Gala is fine with cats. During her cat test, she was disinterested an avoided the cat. She is a polite little dog and gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. Kids ages 12+ if there are kids in the home. Gala is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested negative and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner vet clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin or Portland. $250 adoption fee Fostered in Vancouver, Washington APPLY TO ADOPT GALA ON OUR WEBSITE: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG
