Story
Nori cute little snub nose and sweet personality won us over in a crowded California shelter. We just had to have her. - 8 months old, 12 pounds and possibly a Pug/Chihuahua mix - Super cuddly, loves to be in her foster mom's lap - Wants to sleep in bed with her owner and loves to snuggle under the blanket - Learned “sit” quickly, she’s one smart cookie! - Great with other dogs and fostered with a larger dog she initiates play with. Was respectful of another small breed dog who did not want to play and she left him alone. - Fostered with a 3 year old child and has done well with him. She will even cuddle with him sometimes. - Cats unknown but we suspect she would probably be fine with them - Would prefer to see her go to a home with someone who does not work long hours away from home. - Still settling into her foster home and getting the potty training routine. Improving on her potty habits with each day. - Nori unfortunately doesn't like the crate and will bark if crated so she may not be the best option for a dwelling with shared walls. Nori is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm preventatives. Her adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner vet clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Tualatin, or Portland. $300 adoption fee Fostered in Lake Oswego, Oregon Apply to adopt Nori on our website: www.agavedogs.org

Trini is a super adorable pup that was a local owner surrender and part of a litter the owner could no longer care for. She avoided going to the shelter by coming to Agave Dogs Rescue. - DOB 9/30/23 and just over 11 weeks old and 18lbs - We have photos of mom and dad dogs and are told by the owners that they are very sweet dogs. We were able to assist with getting mom dog spayed so no more litter. - Dad dog is German Shepherd, mom dog looks Pit Bull/Lab - No trauma or shelter stay on these pups. They have lived in a loving home since birth - Happy puppy ready to join your home! - Trini is currently in foster with lots of one on one attention with her foster parents - Friendly, sweet and growing more and more gregarious by the day - Crate training and potty training are in full swing at their foster home - Learning to walk on leash Looking for adopters who value puppy training early on and who will enroll in a puppy manners, socialization, beginning obedience class. Story
Valor is super loving German Shepherd puppy in his teenage phase! He is social, sweet and very personable. Valor was found as a stray in California and a kind rescuer picked him up and kept him from going to the shelter. - Fenced yard please - 75lbs and estimated to be 1 year old - Medium length, beautiful fluffy fur. You will love this guy's fringe! - Great with other dogs - No cats - Loves the water! - Crates readily and sleeps in his crate at night - Knows "sit" "down" "shake" and is food motivated to train with you further - Has a nice "off switch" and will settle in the home - Medium - high energy. Typical Shepherd puppy. - Goofy, loveable, soft temperament - Valor does struggle with leash reactivity when seeing other dogs. He has been working 2 - 3 times per week on full day outings in the community with Hailey of Totally Epic Dog Training in Milwaukie. She really adores Valor and is happy to be a resource and continue working with Valor post adoption. We are looking for an adopter who values enrolling in a training class to help Valor be his very best adult self. We believe with these large breed young dogs, that training is essential to help them succeed. Valor is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested negative, dewormed, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner vet clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin. Adoption fee waived to help Valor find a good home. His adoption includes two free sessions with Valor and his wonderful trainer Hailey to help him transition to his new home. Fostered in Oregon City, Oregon APPLY TO ADOPT: WWW.AGAVEDOGS.ORG

Meet Samson! Age: 5 months old Gender: male Breed: Pitbull/cattle dog mix Rescue: Imagine Peace For Pups Sweet little Samson had a hard start to his life! Abandoned in an orchard in California when he was just a little newborn, trusting humans was hard for him. Can we blame him?  But this baby has really blossomed in foster care in the last three weeks! From a shy boy, to following around and smothering his humans with kisses!  His temperament is also pretty chill for a pup and can keep himself entertained for hours with a few toys!  He also loves hanging with his dog friends, and his kitty friends too! But still learning to take no from cats;). Samson is just a chill fun dude, and when he loves he loves with all his heart! Samson is crate trained, potty trained, current on vaccines and microchipped.   If interested please fill out app today!   https://form.jotform.com/60136667457159 ##1845886##
