Story
MEET MANGO, a small and friendly shepherd/husky mix, possibly part Belgian Malinois, in need of a foster or forever home! Mango is a 2-year-old girl who loves people and loves other dogs. She's an active pup and would do best with an active person, people or family. She'd also do well with someone who works from home or is retired, because she gets bored pretty easily. She was originally rescued from a California shelter and now is in Southern Washington but can be transported to Portland. Please email for an application - Mango weighs only about 48 lbs.

Story
HI - I'M VAIL! I'm a loving 5-1/2-year old small Pit Bull Terrier-Bully girl in need of a foster or forever home. I'm white as snow and hence I was named after Vail, Colorado! I have a lot of good traits... I love people and am quite the snuggler. I also love my crate, and would gladly sleep in it at night (though would probably prefer your bed.) I'm not destructive in the house and am overall a joy to have around. I'm also quite playful. There are a few things to work on still. At about 45 lbs., I'm a small but strong girl, and could use some leash training. I'm also best as an only dog in the house, where I can get all of the love and attention, as I'm not a fan of other dogs. I'd love a warm bed, a person or people to love me and a chance to go for a walk, hike or road trip! Can you foster or adopt me? I'm currently in Southern Washington available to meet! Or I can be transported to Oregon. Please email for an application.

Story
MEET SWEET & HAPPY DOROTHY! Dorothy is a resilient 7-year-old female brindle & white Pit Bull Terrier in need of a foster or forever home! She has been waiting much too long for a home but keeps getting overlooked, despite her beautiful face and joyful disposition. She is a healthy and active, fun-loving girl who is obsessed with chasing balls and playing fetch! She would do well in a home where she can get plenty of play time and exercise. She also loves the water, so will be a great beach girl! She tested well with a calm male dog, though still may thrive as the only dog in a home. Dorothy weighs 69 lbs. Can you foster or adopt her? She is currently in California but can be transported to Washington.

Story
MEET EMBER & BAILEY! These shy male and female Redbone Coonhound mixes need a foster or forever home and someone wonderful to take them in. They can be scared of new people, though will be better once they get to know you. Bailey, a 7-1/2-year-old male, is bonded to Ember, a -4-1/2-year-old female, and they could be related. Bailey weighs 85 lbs., and Ember weighs about 63 lbs. They were saved from a shelter and became urgent because they were scared. Both of these dogs were likely stuck in a backyard and as such, became frightened of humans, who didn't treat them right. They have done well with other dogs. If you can open your home and heart to these beautiful but shy dogs, and are able to give them the time they need to adjust, please consider this pair. They are gentle dogs. Ember, the female, is more timid than Bailey, but both need time and patience. Please email for an application.

Story
HI - I'M VITO! I'm a cute all-white 2-year-old Chihuahua, likely mixed with Italian Greyhound due to my longer legs! I'm a sweet, sweet boy - I get along great with other dogs and I love people. I was found as a stray and my owners were never found - so now I'm ready for a new start on life. If you'd like to adopt me, please email for an application. I weigh only 12 lbs. I'm currently in California but can be transported to Oregon.

Story
WOOF! I'M PATCH! I'm a 2-1/2-year-old husky mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued from a California high-kill shelter in the nick of time and am currently in a foster home in Aberdeen, Wash., though can be transported to Oregon. I'm a young, active dog, and am friendly, playful, smart, curious and very athletic. I'm also strong, and need a a strong owner who can be my companion. I am affectionate and will give kisses once I get to know you. I love treats and food in general. I also enjoy human attention and affection, and would do best with someone who is active. I've been tested with other dogs and did well on my dog test, though I'd thrive also as an only dog with a person or people who loves to go for walks, hikes or other outings because my husky energy can turn some dogs off. I'm a great, happy boy who is ready go home! I weigh about 60 lbs. Please email for an application.
