Story
Benny was rescued in Texas and has adapted really well to being the best boy. He is the sweetest pit Bull mix you’ll meet. He loves people and loves to cuddle and play. He is 4.5-5 years old and is house trained. He’s really smart. Due to a new career shift that requires traveling for weeks at a time, Benny’s mom has made the heartbreaking decision to try and give him a better life by rehoming him with someone who can really take care of him (and she is very open to an open adoption!). He is aggressive with other dogs and very territorial. He needs someone with a yard, no other pets (at first), and dedicated to getting him better behaviorally trained. His behavior is not why he is getting rehomed — it is not his fault. Please help him find a real forever home. With rehoming, Benny needs to take his things! you will get the following: - two beds - food and water tray - water dispenser - food to last 2+ weeks - plenty of toys and treats.

Story
This is Bonsai. She is the sweetest girl. Has never bitten, and has never ending patience with a toddler who is still learning to be gentle. She wants a home abundant in cuddles and walks and loves to play in the house with her toys. She is content to lay with you and watch tv. She is socialized and fantastic with other pets and people. The “behavioral” challenge is her potty training. She was recently boarded and trained at k9 university for 2 weeks for potty training and basic commands and the owner said she did great and didn’t have any potty accidents. She is struggling to signal to go potty and that has been my only struggle with her. She does have a fused right leg (it doesn’t slow her down but she favors it at times-does not need surgery). The board and train was $1500 dollars and she was 600 to adopt from ARK. She also has a comfy kennel, and beds. She does need to be monitored outside of kennel until trust is built for house training. Just given her annual heart guard

Story
Asher is a little over 4. He is a high energy dog that could play catch all day if you are up for it. His next home should be with a family looking for a buddy to burn some energy or with a big yard to roam free. He has lived his whole life with another dog smaller than him. They get along great! His anxiety spikes on walks when other dogs bark at him. He went to university K9 for training and it helped decrease his anxiety tremendously. He knows sit, lay, stay, and down and responds super well to treats! We have made the difficult decision to rehome because we welcomed our first child and our time is a lot more limited than it once was. He thrives most when we stick to a routine but that’s not our life anymore. We hope his next home will be filled with as much love.

Story
Apply at www.streetsavvydogrescue.org. URGENT SITUATION! Star, a dog adopted from Street Savvy Dog Rescue at least 6 yrs ago has turned up AGAIN Roaming the streets last seen with a homeless person. Back in July, we were having trouble getting hold of her owner and finally made the connection and returned her to him. Now we are experiencing a repeat of not being able to get an answer back from him despite repeated calls and texts. Sniff Daycare @sniffdoghotel kindly took her in overnight last night but we had to get her into our foster program and she is not doing well with other dogs in a not very large home with too little enough space to keep her separated properly from the resident three dogs and two cats! IMMEDIATE TEMP FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Star is great with people! TEXT 971-303-9415 THANK YOU COMMUNITY MEMBERS! Streetsavvydogrescue.org

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺🌺 Meet Jamaica (pronounced “huh-mike-a”)! Jamaica means hibiscus in Spanish. Jamaica is a 4-year-old Golden Retriever mix, 40-50 lbs. She has been spayed and received all her vaccinations. We think she was hit by a car before she was rescued, but she seems not to have any lasting damage. She’s been in her foster home since 5/16/24. She is potty trained, and is working on crate training. She knows how to sit, and is learning to wait, come, leave it, and hop up! Jamaica is very shy at first, and will flourish in a calm environment. Once she warms up she will be your best friend! She will thrive in a home with only adults or with chill teenagers. Best of all would be a home with a confident, playful dog to show her the ropes and help her build confidence. She does great with cats in her foster home. Jamaica loves to play with a ball, splash in water, and get the zoomies around the yard. She also loves to just be quiet with you. Jamaica may do best with rescue-experienced adopters who work from home or are around a lot. Thus far, she is not a fan of being crated and may have some moderate separation distress or anxiety. Her ideal home is rural or suburban and she definitely will require being placed in a home with another playful dig to be at her happiest. Her adoption fee includes a training session with a SSDR certified force-free trainer, leash, collar, and harness. If you’re looking for a very sweet, loving, playful addition to your home, Jamaica might be the girl for you! You can submit an application at streetsavvydogrescue.org. Story
Totoro, a little dog from Mexico, is full of love for humans. He gets along with other dogs, cats, and chickens and enjoys being part of a pack. Despite some age-related wobbliness, he is quite active and loves to take strolls outside. Totoro prefers to stay close to his family indoors and isn't yet perfectly housebroken, but he does well with frequent trips outside. He's a brave and curious pup who sleeps well in his crate as long as he can see his person. While he doesn't yet respond to his name, he loves food and treats and will learn with time and training. Due to his limited teeth, he needs soft, easily chewed food and treats. To apply for this SUPER SENIOR 9 yr old lovebug please go to Streetsavvydogrescue.org ADOPTION APPLICATION
