MEET BILLY THE BOXER MIX! If you're looking for a quirky, energetic dog, a ball of energy ready to rumble and roll, Billy is it! He is a fun-loving 1-1/2-year-old Boxer-Shepherd mix who is ready to rock your world. He's just a puppy and could use some leash training, but he's got a lot of good things going for him. First of all, he's unique and funny - he's got big floppy ears, and one is usually up and the other down. Secondly, he's good with other dogs. He was basically raised in an animal shelter so got used to having other pups around. He absolutely needs an active person or people and a yard would be a plus so he could run around, and then take a snooze. It's not mandatory, though, as long as you are active. He is stocky and built like a tank, and weighs about 65 lbs. Can you foster or adopt Billy? Billy is currently in California still, but can be transported to you in Oregon.

HI - I'M PHOENIX! I'm a handsome, healthy and rugged 10-year-old Rottie mix in need of a foster or forever home. I lost my previous foster home due to no fault of mine, and I really miss having people around to snuggle in the evenings. A little bit about me: I was rescued from a shelter a couple years ago, where I was a shelter favorite, and am currently waiting for someone to adopt me. I weigh about 80 lbs. Despite my age, I am active and I'm a very loving dog. I'll do well with an active person or people who can take me for walks and hikes. I have MANY positive traits - I am affectionate (I love to give hugs once I know you!), I walk well on a leash, and I am a very loyal and sweet dog. I will be your best friend for life. I also prefer to have my person or people around, but that can be expected of most dogs! I am not a barker unless it is warranted. I can also be a bit protective of my people and our property, which can be a good thing. While I get along with some dogs (especially females), I can be reactive on a leash. I would thrive as an only dog, or at least as an only male dog, as I love human attention and affection and I'd do well with a strong owner, too. Please email for an application.

He is very intelligent and loyal. Ringo bonds intensely with his person, so would thrive in a home with a single person, or possibly a couple with German Shepherd experience ideally. Like most shepherds, he will be your true companion. He may be protective, so a quiet home/setting is important for him. Ringo loves car rides and riding in the front seat! I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, where I became urgent because I was so scared and shy. While there, I had kennel mates, and I've done well with other dogs. I'm still shy, but am a work in progress. I'm starting to come out of my shell, and I can be petted now. I need a quiet home with a patient person or people who can give me a sense of security and the love and affection I so deserve. I'm very young and have my whole life ahead of me. She's an active pup and would do best with an active person, people or family. She'd also do well with someone who works from home or is retired, because she gets bored pretty easily.
