Here's what you need to know about me:I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I'd like a home where my family is home often. I'm just really social and love spending time with people, I prefer to not be left alone for long periods. Here's what you need to know about me:I'd like a relaxed home. I wouldn't say I'm "old"... I've just been around for a while. And that's made me appreciate the finer things in life like naps in the sun, looking out windows, and the special joy when you're able to scratch juuuuust the right spot. I like to take it easy at home - I'm not up for lots of activity. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along. Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Hi, I'm Nikita!I believe life is best traveled side by side with my favorite people. I'm the kind of girl who's happy curled up by your feet, keeping you company with the occasional husky conversation.I have a collection of emotional support dolls that I like to carry around when I'm nervous. I'm social, sweet, and always go for adventure, whether that's exploring a new trail or following you from the couch to the kitchen.More than anything, I'm looking for a person to be my forever travel companion for life is only as sweet as the company we keep.I have some handling sensitivity. That means I have some preferences about how and where I get petted. My human friends at the shelter can tell you more!I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted.I just want to make sure we all get along.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 50.6 Age: 5yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.Hi, I'm Arrow!I can be a little shy when meeting new people and loud noises scare me a little. Give me some time though, and you'll see me melt like a gooey marshmallow. I'm happiest stretched out beside my people, soaking up belly rubs and keeping them company.I love walks, get excited when my humans come home, and sometimes forget my manners in my excitement. But I'm working on that! My foster mom says I'm a bit of a Velcro dog because I like to be a part of whatever they are doing.I'm looking for a home where I can settle in, feel safe, and be someone's loyal sidekick. If you're looking for a companion who will wait loyally for you to come home and who will always save you a spot on the couch, I might be your girl.I'm available for Trial Adoption! If you're interested in taking me home for 2 weeks before making a final decision, please speak to an adoption counselor.I need to be the only dog in my new home. Sharing my home and stuff with another dog just isn't for me, but I might be able to have play dates with dogs I'm friends with! My human friends at the shelter can tell you more.>I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email caninefoster@southwesthumane.org Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 50 Age: 2yrs 6mths 1wks
