Story
Lola was rescued from an illegal husky breeding. Despite her rough start, she is sweet, affectionate, and loving. She is very active, loves attention, pets, and cuddles, and enjoys being around other dogs. One of her ears is adorably floppy, she tolerates baths and also loves to chew on things, so appropriate toys are a must. Lola is still a puppy and needs continued training, structure, and consistency. She is intelligent but can be stubborn and will benefit from patient guidance. She has separation anxiety and may chew on items if left alone too long. She has a strong prey drive and loves to chase rabbits and squirrels. If placed with another dog, a confident dog is preferred as she can be a bit pushy. Ideal home: house with a yard, active owners, calm structured environment, preferably another dog. Lola is being rehomed because her family now works 12-hour days, and apartment life is no longer fair to her, she deserves time, and daily companionship to truly thrive.

Story
Luna was 9 months old when we adopted her from a shelter. When she was younger, she loved going for hikes, chasing balls, and learning new tricks. Now almost 12, she is an old lady who loves comfort: snuggles, naps on the couch, walks (sniffaris) and, most of all, food. She is very smart and knows lots of commands. She is on anti-anxiety meds, pain meds (arthritis), and allergy medication (seasonal allergies). As she's gotten older, she's become very reactive. She barks/snarls at anyone entering the house and on two occasions, has nipped strangers (no visible bite marks). She also growls/snarls/pins smaller dogs and started lunging after our cat, who she has known her whole life. Recently, she started growling and lunging at our 2-year-old, and we feel she is no longer safe in our home. Luna needs a home where she can be the center of attention: no other pets, no little kids, low foot traffic. We love her dearly, and hope she can live out her days in a safe, loving home.

Story
Jack is a sweet, gentle and affectionate 7 year old boy. He came to us on January 17th after his human passed away. Unfortunately, we're unable to keep Jack long term. Jack knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. He has done well in our home with 3 other dogs and a chicken. We've seen him interact with children on a limited basis and he has done well. He would do great as a companion for an elderly person or in a family setting. He's looking for someone who will take him on walks and love on him the way he deserves. Jack has allergies that went untreated for some time prior to coming to our home which has caused a skin condition. The good news is that it is treatable and he's already well on his way to feeling and looking better. His future home will need to continue his current regimen and be diligent about keeping his allergies under control. Jack has an appointment next week to get updated on shots and will then be adoptable through Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon!

Story
Daisy is a sweet loving dog she is fixed and potty trained, loves to go on walks and hikes, play fetch in the yard and loves car rides. Loves her belly rubs and pets. Loves to play with other dogs by chasing back and forth. Lately I have not had time to give her a lot of attention due to working longer hours and deserves an owner who has the time.
