Story

Bubu was rescued from the Vancouver Humane Society. Before that, he lived on the streets with his mother and sister. He used to be a very active dog, but now he is much more relaxed and enjoys his naps during the day. Bubu is incredibly sweet and affectionate. He loves attention, pets, and cuddles. He tolerates baths, enjoys being around other dogs and cats, and is good with kids. He still enjoys being outside and staying active, but long uphill hikes are no longer his favorite. Bubu would thrive in a quiet, structured home with a yard where he can feel safe and relaxed. We rescued Bubu with the goal of giving him all the love he deserves before he finds his forever home. When we first brought him home, he was scared of everything. With time, patience, and care, he has opened up and become very loving. Recently, our lives became very busy with both of us working 12-hour days, and apartment living is no longer fair to him. He deserves more space and someone who can spend time with him

Jazz is a good girl, she was my brothers dog that has since left to the army, she has had training through “off leash” k-9 training In Portland (about $3000) to address her pulling when on walks, she has an collar and responds very well to it most of the time. I can’t keep her simply because I don’t have the time to give her the active lifestyle she needs (which is why I got aa frenchie)…. Jazz is definitely intellectually challenged in her own way but is every bit of a good dog. Gentle with food and taking treats from your hand. She is not protective of her food bowl when eating, she used to be crated during the day but since I’ve had her she stays downstairs in the open area, she is not destructive when left alone, she will nap and wait for you

Loves to play with other dogs by chasing back and forth. Lately I have not had time to give her a lot of attention due to working longer hours and deserves an owner who has the time.

Hello! This is Mac. Unfortunately, his mom passed away in January. I'm his sitter (of 7 years) and decided to foster him without hesitation until I can find him a loving home. He is a 10 year old labradoodle, approx 75 pounds, neutered, up to date on shots, and bloodwork looks great! He may be an old man, but he deserves to live the rest of his life in a loving home. 🥺 He is such a sweet boy. He gets along with cats and other dogs. I have 3 cats and an older dog myself and he gets along with all of them! He does get really excited when he first meets people and other dogs, but he really calms down when he gets used to his environment. He's a couch potato at my house lol. If you choose to keep me as his sitter, I will be offering my services for free for him. If you choose not to have me, thats totally fine. All I care about is that he has a good life. Currently in Southern California, but can be transported up to northern states, such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and other close by states, if a great suitable family is willing to adopt him.
