Story
Meet Zoey! 🤍 Zoey is a sweet, gentle little girl with a heart as soft as her curls. At approximately 6 years old, she's looking for a patient family that will give her the love and reassurance she deserves. She can be a little timid when meeting new people or experiencing new things, but underneath that shy exterior is an incredibly loving companion. Once Zoey knows she's safe, she blossoms into a loyal little shadow who enjoys being close to her people. Zoey has a submissive personality, gets along well with other dogs, and enjoys staying busy exploring her surroundings before curling up for some well-earned relaxation. She's also housetrained, making the transition into her new home even easier. She is currently awaiting a dental appointment to help get her smile feeling its very best before she starts the next chapter of her life. ✨ About Zoey: 🐾 Approximately 6 years old 🤍 Sweet, gentle, and loving 🌸 Timid at first but warms up with patience 🐶 Dog-friendly 💕 Submissive personality 🚽 Housetrained 🐾 Enjoys exploring and staying busy 🦷 Awaiting a dental appointment 🏡 Looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to build confidence Zoey isn't the dog who demands attention—she quietly waits for someone to see the wonderful dog she truly is. With a little patience and a lot of love, she'll become a devoted companion who will be forever grateful for a second chance. If you're looking for a kind, gentle best friend who simply wants to love and be loved, Zoey may be the perfect addition to your family. ❤️🐾

Story
Bella is a 6 year old Chow Chow / German Shepard mix. She was originally purchased from a private breeder. She is very adventurous, has been around lots of kids, and loves her daily walks and being outside.Unfortunately, the owners of Bella are unable to keep her for much longer due to them having to move to a home located in a neighborhood where her breed is not allowed. This was out of their hands due to the urgency of needing a new home and other hardships. They are looking for a loving home to take in Bella and give here the care and attention she deserves. She has gotten a pair of shots done very recently. She also has an uncontrollable itch near her hind stomach area that has caused her to bald in that area, which the owners took her to a vet for and received steroids that she is currently taking to hopefully help with that. All that aside, she has been treated with love, and her owners hope there is a home for her out there that can give her the same love, and more.

Story
Champ is a beautiful 'red' Border Collie that will make a great pet. He is house, kennel and leash trained. Totally fine with cats, horses and all dogs. He's a year and a half old and less than 40 lbs.Champ will take a while to trust a new person, but he is well worth it! The less people in the home the better. A busy home would make him nervous. We want him to have another dog or dogs in his next home as well as a fenced yard is required.Champ is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines. His adoption fee is only $250 to approved home. Please go to sccpets.com and fill out the adoption application for Champ! If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.August 9, 2026, 11:40 pm

Story
Buster is the kind of dog who turns heads — but it’s his personality that really wins you over. Smart, sweet, and full of husky charm, he’s been waiting at the pound far too long for someone to see what a great companion he is. He’s got the looks, the brains, and the playful streak that makes every day a little more interesting. Buster loves being out and about, soaking up attention, and showing off just how much potential he has with the right person by his side. This boy deserves more than a kennel. He deserves a couch, adventures, and someone who’s ready to make him family. Buster is available now — and ready to leave shelter life behind.

Australian Cattle Dog

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Good with kids, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
MJ is approximately 5 1/2 years old, spayed and weighs around 38 pounds. She is a mixed breed, possible cattle dog/lab mix. She has lived with a family of two younger kids (now aged 6 and 9) since she was nine months old. She is very sweet and playful. She likes to snuggle and does well on car rides. She loves to go for walks, hikes, and play fetch, and will often go on longer runs. She is house trained and likes to sleep in her crate at night. She is able to be on her own for several hours as her current owners work outside the home, and she does not seem to have separation anxiety. She has completed basic obedience training. Mary Jane is a nervous dog when it comes to loud noises (fireworks, thunder) and she takes time to warm up to new people and new dogs. She has gone to other homes for dog sitting, with other dogs present, and has done just fine after taking a few minutes to get comfortable. As the children have gotten older she has begun to show anxiety due to the children's friends coming in and out of the house. She has become territorial (aggressive barking, some jumping) in and near her house which has become a problem due to kids' friends stopping by and a neighborhood park across the street. Once she gets to know the house guests she is usually fine, but it takes time and some active steps to get there. Owners have done several in-home trainer lessons but do not have the time and focus that MJ deserves. She would probably do okay with another dog(s) in the home and actually may enjoy it. She is unknown with cats. Although she has done great with the kids in her current home, a home with no young kids would be ideal unless extra time is spent for her to adjust. Owners would be happy to pay for an in-home private lesson with a dog trainer to help her transition to a new home. Please fill out an application at sccpets.com (at no cost or obligation to you). Her adoption donation is $200.If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.March 7, 2026, 3:28 pm
