Story

Copper has a full puppy package paid for that includes neutering when he is of age at Orchard Hills Animal Hospital in washougal. Copper needs to go to a home with lots of property and room to run. Experience with bloodhounds is very important to us. He is in a house with another dog, but there are not any little humans in his life. He is very active and very much still in puppy mode. He knows how to sit, stay, shake, lay down, he recalls very well. He is off leashed trained while hiking, and training in town walks on a leash. He is not crate trained, but he has “his place” a raised bed where he sleeps. This is a very hard circumstance for our family and we are very devastated. We just want him to go to a great home where he can be happy go lucky.

She is looking for a better home than her current family can provide.I am:• Housetrained, crate trained, and leash trained• Friendly and well-behaved with people and children• High energy and always ready for playtime• Managed on a successful prescription diet for urinary health• A purebred Corgi with a fun, vocal personalityI love to use my voice and play, though I would likely do best as the only dog in the home. Meet Kobe, a sweet 9-month-old Chihuahua who loves everybody! He’ll roll on his back for tummy rubs the minute you say hi. He’s not a typical Chi: he isn’t yippy, rarely barks and isn’t skittish. At 15 lbs he’s a bit sturdier than most, with good playful energy, and he’s great with our young boys. Why we’re rehoming: our 6-year-old Cavalier doesn’t enjoy puppy play and has been stressed and hiding. Our busy schedule also leaves Kobe alone too much of the day. He does well with other dogs, but our stressful dog is not a fan of the puppy. He needs a family with more time for supervision, walks and park trips. He’s about halfway house-trained and needs someone consistent to finish the job. He’s still in his chewing phase, so chew toys are a must! Neutered, all shots, full medical records. Comes with his crate. Please tell us about your home and routine in your application. We’re looking for the right fit!

Story

Georgia Mae was adopted by our Rescue 5 years ago. Her parents divorced, then the mom gave Georgia to her brother in Arizona. He "lost her" then she ended up on the street a good samaritan found her, found out through micro chip that she was one of our dogs. She is now back at the rescue looking for her new family. She is a WONDERFUL DOG! She just wants to hang with her person. She has been coming over and spending nites with me, she does not get into anything, she gets along with my dog (pictured on here with her) and is fine with the other "littles" we have here. Meet Licorice. He came to our rescue from a homeless camp in Portland Oregon with his mom. We have no idea on the dad the mom looks bulldogish she is small under 50 pounds. Story

Baby is a lovable 8 year old male Chihuahua mixed with terrier. Baby likes people, especially children. He likes attention, which he attracts because he is so 'cute'. His favorite activity are his walks and the associated smells,(at least twice daily). He is always leashed for any outside activity, but i wish I could let him run free more often. He is as frisky as a pup, with plenty of energy. He entertains himself with sqeeky toys. Baby sleeps with me and likes cuddling and burrowing in the blankets.Since he was a puppy he has been the pet and companion of a female friend who died unexpected. It was a low income situation and, except for one rabies shot, he has had no vet care nor any training.. Baby experiences separation anxiety. When left alone he will cry and scratch the door, after which he curls up for a nap. To avoid my neighbors concern I take him everywhere I go. We are in a small upstairs apartment in downtown Camas with limited resources, but he isn't deprived of anything.
