Story
Gypsy is in need of a good home asap! She is my elderly mother’s dog who has become very ill and unable to care for such a large dog. I currently have 4 pets and shoes doesn’t get along with my female dog so we unfortunately cannot keep her. She is up to date on shots, spayed and house trained but needs a little more basic training and has not been socialized much at all. She loves people, loves to cuddle, play with her toys and be goofy. She is super sweet and deserves a good home with an outdoor space and someone who will take the time and patience to train her and give her the life she deserves! The sooner she can get that the better for her. She would probably do best in a house without any other pets (especially female dogs) and smaller children.

Story
This sweet boy came into my home about a year ago after his previous family could no longer keep him. I’ve spent that time training and working with him, and he’s made great progress. He’s a good dog with a lot of potential, but he needs more time, space, and structure than I can provide long-term. As a Dutch Shepherd / Border Collie mix, he’s highly intelligent, driven, and eager to learn. He thrives with purpose and would be a fantastic work dog or active companion for someone who enjoys training and an active lifestyle. His recall is excellent, and he responds well to clear boundaries. He can get along with other dogs, but would likely thrive most as the only dog, forming a strong bond with his person. An ideal home would be with someone experienced with working breeds, with a large yard or land, and excited to continue building his skills.

Story
Remy is 2 years old and is pure love in dog form. He absolutely lives for playtime and has the happiest, most playful spirit. Whether its playing with toys, running around outside, or relaxing on the couch after a fun day, Remy is a sweet dog. Outside, his favorite things are playing ball, carrying sticks, and chasing around with the other dogs. Inside, he transforms into the ultimate cuddle bug. Remy will happily soak up every cuddle, snuggle, and bit of affection you're willing to give. He adores human interaction and thrives on pets, attention, and being close to his people. On walks when he he sees other dogs, he can become a bit reactive (barks and pulls) Remy does best with dogs he knows and is familiar with, and once hes comfortable, he loves playing and spending time with them outside. He is very food and treat motivated, which makes him eager to please and a joy to work with. Admittedly, with a 6 month old, we are not able to give Remy the time and energy he needs right now.

Story
Dottie is around 4 years old 65lb pit bull/boxer mix with a lot of love to give! She’s a sweet girl who loves to cuddle and play with toys. I have had her for a little over a year and she lives with another dog and 2 cats and does great with them all. She has had issues with some other dogs in the past, it really depends on personality and overstimulation. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Texas and was adopted out by a family, who unfortunately had a 14 year old son who abused her so she has some trauma around young men. She was returned to the shelter then I got her and she’s been a loving companion but I am currently pregnant with a boy and due to her history, I don’t feel comfortable having her around a baby. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her but I know I can find a family that would be a better fit.

Story
7.5 months old, adopted her at 3 months. Found abandoned in a park, brought to a neighbor, who put her up on NextDoor and five hours later she came home with me! She is the sweetest, silliest, FUNNIEST girl -- probably 5 of 7 days a week, I end up with either my face or abs sore from laughing. She needs new people because she has turned out to be a high-energy girl. Based on her appearance and vibe, neighbor lady and I were thinking pitty/labby. I've had both and known several others well, but it soon became clear that we were working with something else. Cue the DNA test: 42% boxer, 38% pit, 13% Staffy, 7% supermutt. I am now having a significant and debilitating health issue, single/live alone, and am just not able to give her as much exercise and interaction as she needs. We have given it our all, she's just not happy, and it breaks my heart. She needs 2+ people -- solo person having sick/off days really affects her. She will absolutely THRIVE with more people/activity.

Story
Meet Twila! Twila is a sweet 4-month-old pup from St. Croix in the USVI, weighing in at about 15 pounds, and she’s ready to wiggle her way into your heart. We think she may be a Pittie–Ridgeback mix, but whatever she is, she’s 100% adorable. Her nickname is “Wiggles” because she can’t help but shimmy with joy whenever she’s picked up. Twila is wonderful with other dogs and is already kennel-trained. Like any young puppy, she’s still working on perfecting her potty training, but she’s making great progress. She’s a quiet girl who rarely barks and sticks to chewing only her toys and bones. At the end of the day, Twila really just wants cuddles, attention, and a family to love. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion, Twila might be your perfect match. This is a courtesy post, please reach out to Shaunna at 503-901-9577 to meet this sweet girl!
