Story
Shadow is about 2 and a half years old and I adopted him from a local rescue in LA. He came in a litter of 9 and was a foster fail! He’s a pitbull, poodle, chihuahua mix mutt. Shadow is naturally anxious and fearful as it was passed on from his mother. He wants to socialize with dogs but he’s still growing his confidence and learning proper social cues. He’s protective of others and his space so he struggles with some resource guarding but can be worked on over time and around human bonding and trust. He has so much character to him! He’s lovable, adventurous, and very cheeky. My trainers have told me since he was a puppy that he’s one of the smartest dogs they’ve ever come across. Shadow needs owners that work from home or have a flexible work schedule. He thrives on human interaction and lots of stimulation. He’s an active dog that would love a yard or an outdoor space that has alot of sun. He would need to be the only pet in the home with no young kids.

Story
My older brother and his girlfriend (fiance now) got Chester at a reported age of 3 months from a family in LA that couldn't keep him roughly 11 years ago. Though he's 11, he hasn't shown any signs of slowing down. He is very food motivated and knows some basic commands like sit, down, come, etc. My brother recently moved out with his fiance, and his apartment is not pet friendly. I will be moving out very soon as well, and my parents are at an age where they can't give Chester the care and attention he deserves. It's a tough call, but we feel the best thing to do for the dog's well-being is to find a him a family that can be more active and involved with him Chester loves Lamb :) If you are looking for a loving and energetic little dog, look no further :)

Story
Sawyer is an energetic, youthful, friendly, adventurous, sensation seeking, extraverted dog. People out in public are shocked to learn he is 11. He would do well with an owner with an exciting and stimulating lifestyle (ie: a lively household with lots of residents or that frequently has a lot of guests, a home with a backyard with a lot of dogs, a ranch life situation, a person who wants to take him on a few new hikes every week, even a "van lifer" that will take him new places). He needs some boundaries but is eager to connect with people (adults and children), and most other animals. He is safe but comes off energetic at first out of excitement. Sawyer is a shelter rescue and was adopted at 5 months old. His owner lives a quiet apartment life, and it's not a great match for Sawyer. He needs a more stimulating environment. He's happy to chill after a few very stimulating hours. Free adoption with a few supplies included to right home.

Story
Frito is a fun dog that needs a new home! He is a bit timid at first but warms up quickly and is a really good dog. Housetrained, walks well on leash, loves to play ball, loves to ride in the car, and is crate trained. I found him by the Lakewood mall parking lot, took him to check for a chip with no luck. Then I took him to the shelter, hoping his family was looking for him. I posted in Facebook lost and found groups, Ring & Nextdoor. I got several FB messages telling me that I was a dog killer for taking him to the shelter and that he would be put to sleep. So I called the shelter a few days later and offered to be a last resort before euthanasia. Poor Fritos family never came for him; so the shelter called and asked if I would still take him. I adopted him back from the shelter, and now he is in a crate in my dining room. This is no life for any animal. I have 4 cats and live in a small condo with no yard. Someone please give Frito a good home. Adoption fee will go 2 a rescue
