Bennie is housetrained, Emma wears a diaper, Gizmo wears a belly band, They are a bunch of old farts that just need a loving home to finish out their retirement together.This dog is sheltered in a foster based, nonprofit rescue. He was very heartbroken! Although he is traumatized by his abandonment, we know he still has a lot of love to give. We just hope that he can receive it in return from a kind and caring adopter. He is only young and we see so much potential in him. This guy is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 13lbs. He did come in with Misty & Duchess so we'd love to see Princeton have a canine companion of similar size and energy if you cannot adopt all 3. Princeton might to okay with kind children older than 10 and we can test him with cats for a serious adopter.

Duchess and Misty are bonded sisters who were surrendered to our center when their people were moving and decided they didn’t want them anymore. The duo is sweet but shy. They have been going through a big adjustment and are understandably shaken. We believe, that given the opportunity, a quiet and calm home could help them feel as ease and settle into themselves. They need a lot of love! They rely a lot on each other and hope to be adopted together. These ladies also came in with a nice young boy pup, Princeton. We'd love to see the 3 go home together if you have the space! They might be considered in a home with children over 10 years old who are kind to animals. They do well with other dogs similar in size and can be tested with cats for a serious adopter. This pair is about 1.5 years old and 13lbs. Misty is the pekingese mix.

Trent is a 10 year old Shorkie, and Chino is a 13 year old chihuahua mix. Both dogs are very well behaved and mild mannered. They came to Famous Fido Rescue by no fault of their own. Due to medical situation their guardian was no longer able to physically care for them. They unfortunately had no relatives or friends to help take over their care either. Trent and Chino are sad to lose the only home and person they have ever known, but they are very friendly, social dogs and we think they’d warm to almost anyone. As senior dogs, many people might overlook them, but they deserve to have the opportunity for the rest of their lives to be filled with happiness, joy, and love. We know they will return the favor tenfold! This pair is about 10lbs each and might be considered in a home with other small dogs, cats and kind children who understand animals' ques, needs and boundaries. The adoption fee is $250 each dog.

These animals are not located in any of the Society's physical locations. She has been with me since she was 6 weeks old, and she is very loving and affectionate. Kemah has been around children and other dogs. She's calm, quiet and somewhat timid. Kemah loves attention by way of rubs and close cuddles. She knows come, stay, sit, go outside and no jumping (which she'll still do when she gets excited). She's a lay around and watch TV kind of dog. She can walk on the leash but hasn't had many walks, being more accustomed to going out in the backyard, and she's not a fan of car rides.
