Location: Brooklyn Park, MN Brynn is a loving girl who enjoys spending time with her humans. She came from a reservation in South Dakota and once she was in foster care, it was discovered that she was pregnant! Due to stress and malnutrition, Brynn gave birth early and only one pup survived. She is now looking to start her second chance, one where having puppies is a thing of the past. Brynn currently lives with cats and does okay with them, but would prefer a house without as her herding tendencies can get the best of her in concerns to chasing cats. She also lives with her son, that the foster adopted, and enjoys playing with him. Sometimes she can become too overstimulated and want her space. Brynn would do best with slow introductions to other dogs as she can be a bit too forward when first meeting, so a home with no other animals would be ideal. Like any herding breed, Brynn needs a strong leader to let her know who is in charge and that she doesn't get to make the decisions. She does have some anxiety that is typical with herding dogs, but does best with a set routine and firm boundaries. She enjoys a lot of mental stimulation in the forms of walks (she is great on a leash!), training, and playing fetch. Looking for a dog to share your adventures with? Vesper may be the one for you. She is high energy, affectionate and intelligent. Vesper is a purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd and was bought from a reputable breeder in southern MN. I have purchase papers. ***Vesper was abused and neglected by my ex-husband and is initially wary of men but can warm up to them if she is treated well and they don’t yell at her or hit her. ***She has bit or nipped children if cornered and teased but in general is good with kids and believes it is her duty to herd and protect them. ***Needs to be let outside regularly or she may poop inside. As long as you keep on top of letting her out regularly she is fine. Overall she is a sweetheart and best friend. I am heartbroken to let her go but she doesn’t work for our family with young children and allergies.

She loves to do zoomies and play with her border collie foster sister. They chase each other in the back yard round and round! Sydney currently lives with 4 cats as well and likes watching them. She is doing extremely well at potty training and sleeps in her kennel at night with no crying!! She's so smart, and learned very quickly to sit, lay down, and shake. Sydney MUST be adopted into a home that has a physically fenced in yard, and another dog to play with!
