Story
Ludwig is 14 years old and in good health. We adopted him from the Humane Society when he was about 4 months old. He has regular check-ups and vaccinations. He is sweet and very devoted, loves to snuggle and lay beside you. Ludwig loves slow walks with lot's of sniffing and playing fetch. He is great with kids and babies. He has never been around cats, so can't speak to that. About eight years ago he was attacked by a loose dog and badly injured, had to have surgeries. Since then he is very defensive around other dogs, so we don't let him meet unknown dogs or go to the dogpark anymore. He gets very excited when people come to visit or someone comes to the door, which he expresses with barking. Not unusual for a Schnauzer. We're moving overseas and sadly won't be able to take him with us.

Story
Bucky (Buckwheat) is a very very special Chorkie. I was able to save him from a hard situation where he was not getting the interaction and love he needed. Ive only had him for about 7 months and since then he has blossomed into the most amazing little companion. Hes best friends with my other dog Noodle and he loves to play and roughhouse. That being said he does like to yap at people and dogs passing by on walks but has never showed aggressive behavior. He can get a little overwhelmed with smaller children so I think hed prefer a home without kiddos but would definitely love another dog. I did not know that I was going to be moving when I got him but am now moving to a different country and cannot afford to bring him with me. I really do hope he can find an amazing home thatll baby him and give him all of the treats he loves. He will come with his bed, some toys, and his crate.

Story
0722191 - Leo is a sweet, quiet, and independent boy with a gentle heart who’s patiently waiting for his forever home. Leo is dog-selective, but not reactive—making him a great fit for apartment or condo living. He enjoys outdoor time, whether it’s playing fetch, tug-of-war, or going for a walk. He walks well on leash, especially with the right harness, though he still pulls a little now and then. Leo is also fully potty trained but may need a bit of encouragement to go while on leash. He loves checking out whatever is going on since he's very curious about his surroundings but he doesn't always follow you around and doesn't have separation anxiety.  He has a high food drive, which makes him love training! However, Leo is currently undergoing training for resource guarding and has also started some medications for his thyroid and behavior. Because of this, Leo would do best in a home without small children who may not yet understand how to respect his space during mealtimes.  He’s the kind of companion who doesn’t demand constant attention but enjoys being part of your world. If you're looking for a loyal, low-key buddy with a big heart and a little bit of quirky charm, Leo might just be the one for you. Give this sweet boy the loving home he deserves—he’s been waiting long enough. To adopt him complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##1469212##

Story
0914168 - **Meet Britt: Your Spunky Sweetheart!** Britt is a sturdy little gal with a big heart! At around 1.5 old and 45 lbs, this mystery Shepherd mix  is full of personality and ready for her forever home. She made her way to Colorado from a high-kill shelter in New Mexico, and now she's eager to begin the next chapter of her life. Britt loves playing with other dogs and has great energy, though she’s still learning to share her toys—probably because they’re the first she’s ever had! She’s already house and kennel trained!  Britt can be very nervous of loud noises and sudden movements, so she would do best in a house without young kids.  She also doesn't enjoy car rides (she has some motion sickness) and gets nervous on walks so she will need a mellow house where she can just be a homebody, haha. Affectionate (once she gets to know you), bright, and highly treat-motivated, Britt is ready to soak up all the love and attention she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion, Britt would make the perfect addition to your home! If you're interested in adopting her please complete an application at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2186811##
