Meet Pizzaroni! Your Future Best Friend and Loyal Shadow Looking for a gentle, sweet-natured companion to brighten up your days? Meet Pizzaroni! This adorable girl with the soulful eyes, perfect underbite, and incredible style is ready to steal your heart. She might start out a bit timid in new situations, but once she knows she's safe, she is as sweet as can be. Here is what makes Pizzaroni such a wonderful, easygoing catch: The Ultimate Welcome Home Committee Pizzaroni absolutely loves "her person" with all her heart. There is nothing better in her world than the moment you walk back through the front door. She will make you feel like the most important person on earth with her happy, heartwarming greetings every single time you return. An Easy, Respectful Housemate  Potty Trained Champion: Pizzaroni is fully house-trained, making her transition into her new home a breeze.  Perfect Work-From-Home Buddy: When you have to step out, she gets a little sad to see you go, but she handles her alone time perfectly. She is entirely non-destructive and will just eagerly await your return.  Flexible Fit: She gets along fine with other dogs, but she is just as happy being the spoiled, single queen of her own castle. She loves playing by herself with toys! Life on the Leash Pizzaroni is an excellent walking partner and handles her leash beautifully! She does have a big curious streak, though—she wants to see every dog, squirrel, and creature that crosses her path. Because she’s so interested in the world, she will sometimes give a little bark to say hello to passing people and dogs. Could Pizzaroni be your perfect match? If you have a quiet home and a little patience to let her shy exterior melt away, Pizzaroni will reward you with a lifetime of fierce loyalty, sweet nose boops, and unconditional love. Story
Hi. I’m Laney. I have just met you, and I love you. Okay, maybe not just met you… but give me a minute. I’m an 11-month-old terrier mix (a perfectly portable 20 pounds of toasted marshmallow fluff), and my favorite place in the world is wherever you are. I’ve been through some hard things early on. I survived distemper, which meant I had to spend a lot of time away from other dogs while I healed. The upside? I got really, really good at loving my person. Like… professional-level companionship. If there were a gold medal for “quietly existing next to you while you do literally anything,” I’d already have it. Here’s my vibe: Low-key lifestyle enthusiast – I don’t need a big space or wild adventures. A comfy spot near you? Perfect. Crate pro – I settle in quietly when needed, no drama. Your little shadow – If you’re home, I’d prefer to be in the same room. Not in a needy way… more like a “we’re a team now” way. Because of my past, I’d thrive in a calm home—especially with a single or older person who wants a steady, loving companion. I’m not here to throw parties. I’m here to sit beside you, follow you from room to room, and make the quiet moments feel full. Think of me as your living, breathing “you’re not alone. Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter of 10 puppies, originally part of a litter of 14, found at approximately 2 months old in Texas. While in the care of another rescue, the litter slowly began breaking with parvo and sadly 3 puppies ultimately passed away. One puppy was transferred to another rescue, while the remaining 10 puppies were transferred into our care at approximately 4.5–5 months old. From the foster: Mazie is a sweet, playful, loving puppy who enjoys walks, toys, and chew time, then happily settles in for cuddles. She’s done great in foster care with both cats and dogs and would love a playful canine friend to learn from. Smart, eager to please, and full of love, she’s ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever family! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Owner/Guardian Surrender/Owner Surrender from Espanola Humane in Santa Fe New Mexico , someone had dropped off Ralphie and his siblings at their home about 3 months ago and they've been caring for them and were able to rehome some of the litter. * Adopted in January at approximately 4 months old and returned in May due to herding behaviors that escalated into resource guarding. Ralphie will require an experienced owner willing to continue working through these behaviors during his critical developmental stages. Older children are recommended. Ralphie is now fully vaccinated for the year. * From the foster: Ralphie is a sweet, big-hearted 4-month-old puppy with a surprisingly mellow personality and a playful, curious spirit. He’s already potty trained, knows how to sit and is learning to be comfortable sleeping in his crate overnight. He really wants to be a good boy and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. Fair warning: he may have a temporary foot fetish and loves to grab your feet as you walk by (we promise, he’ll grow out of it). Ralphie is fantastic with kids, incredibly patient with our 4-year-old, and does well with other dogs. He loves being outside and is shaping up to be the perfect mountain dog, always curious about the people and pups he passes on walks and ready for hikes or long strolls. He does cherish his secure, cozy spaces (especially a fluffy dog bed) and can be a little protective of them, but with that understanding, he’s a loving, gentle goofball who’s ready for his forever home. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
