Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped Meet Lilly, our charming Mastiff mix looking for her forever home! This gentle giant is a 2-year-old sweetheart who has completed extensive obedience training, making her an absolute gem. She's mastered commands like sit, stay, place, and many more, showcasing her intelligence and eagerness to please. Lilly is dog-friendly, especially with dogs of similar size and temperament however we would prefer if she was the only dog for a while so she can get all the love that she deserves. Her favorite spot is Wash Park, where she enjoys her daily walks and runs, reveling in the great outdoors. We're excited to share that we have a sponsor for Lilly's adoption fee, making it easier for her to find the perfect home. She's currently located in Denver and is beyond ready to shower her new family with love and loyalty! Story
Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: This is Arlo. On January 24, he arrived Colorado Puppy Rescue at 7 weeks old and weighing only 3 pounds. Within days he'd been to a neurologist and diagnosed with hydrocephalus and an uncertain life expectancy. On January 28th, Arlo moved into his new foster home, where he continues to live as he grows and explores and waits for his perfect family to come and claim him. Arlo is an amazing puppy who continues to surprise me everyday. He's spunky and playful. He loves to run around and explore every new sight, sound, smell he encounters. Arlo loves other dogs; especially his foster brothers. He his crate trained and is making amazing progress with potty training. He takes his medication like a champ every morning; just a little doggy spray treat on a spoon does the trick. He's learning basic obedience, including sit, "kennel, and to come when he's called (which he has basically mastered). He's learned how to climb onto the couches and is always down for a good cuddle session when I'm done with work. Arlo makes me laugh constantly and has managed to get himself out of trouble a few times by making the cutest expressions you've probably ever seen. He's a classic Velcro puppy and I know he'll become your favorite new companion just like he's been mine for the last few weeks. Arlo will always be a special needs puppy and he will probably continue to need medications for the rest of his life. No one has really been able to tell us what the future will look like for him, but I know that with all the love and care, he's going to make the most of every day and be the happiest, spunkiest, most loving puppy. If you think Arlo sounds like your kind of dog and you've got a little extra time, patience, and love to give, come meet him! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Peeka is a lovely spayed little girl who is a mix of Yorkie and Wired Hair Terrier. She is seven years old, weighs 10 lbs., and is full of love. Peeka is current on all her vaccinations. She is house-trained and crate-trained and loves sleeping in bed with you. She is very active. Sweet little Peeka was left outside without supervision and wandered the streets in Greeley, within her neighborhood. Peeka is a little bundle of love who adores attention and snuggles with her humans. She especially loves going on her daily walks and lets you know when it's time to go. Peeka practically puts her harness on herself! Once she settles down in her new home, which, with all Yorkies, it takes at least two weeks before she feels comfortable in her new home. She loves belly rubs and treats. She gets along with children, but other dogs are not her favorite; therefore, she would be better off being the only dog in the household. We are requesting a stay-at-home adult or one who works from home. She must have a secure fenced yard. Peeka loves being outside, but with the Colorado predators, one must always be outside with her. No apartment, Condo, or Townhome for this little one.

Story
Adoption fee: $475 (already neutered) All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped CAT-FRIENDLY! From the foster: Everyone meet puppy 316 aka Dizzy! This sweetheart has been through the ringer in his short life but he has finally come out on top thanks to the specialists Animal Emergency & Specialty Center! Read his story: I am a happy pup with a heart of gold and a fighting spirit. The foster humans call me Dizzy and Good Boy! I came into this world tiny but mighty- the runt of my litter. I was only 7 pounds when I got to Colorado and my brothers and sisters were already around 20 pounds. Apparently Colorado Puppy Rescue was worried about me and wanted to be sure I was totally healthy so I saw a lot of puppy doctors to try to figure out my spinning and even got an ultrasound. They didn't find anything wrong with me! However, one day around a month ago I felt terrible and my foster people noticed right away and took me immediately to the emergency room. I had a HOLE in my diaphragm that had gotten big enough for my tummy and other organs to move up into my lungs. I had a $10,000 emergency surgery to fix me up but over my life time I will repay it with at least 20,000 kisses! Anywho, I woke up with a big cut on my belly and I had to wear a cone for a long time! Now all that is behind me and that terrible cone was thoroughly beat up and thrown in the trash! I am finally ready for my fur -ever home! I have a great love for people and life. My foster mom talks to me and I try to talk back. I make her laugh and smile so that's good. I love a good scratch behind my ears and on my sides- It tickles so good my leg starts kicking! I am toy obsessed. I can take them all out of the toy box at once and play with them all. I enjoy kicking a tennis ball around and chasing it and I also love a good stuffie or squeaky toy. I can even chew on a toy while on my back! Nylabones are pretty great too! Mealtimes are my favorite! I try to contain my excitement and sit nicely like my foster mom asks but my tail gets going so fast that I have to spin. I know that I eat in my kennel and I will go right in. I will even lay in there with the door open. I have been working on going potty outside and I never potty at night anymore. I think I am doing pretty well - I enjoy pooping on the deck- but hey it's outside! I am happy around other pups ( I have 3 foster dogs I stay with, they are all different sizes) but I can also entertain myself. I am teething, but I know what things I can chew on and what belongs to the people. I would like to go on walks like the other dogs but I don't get the leash thing- I shouldn't be held back from experiencing all the smells and things to see. I hope a special person or family will see how special I am and take me home to spoil me some more! Will you please share and maybe even make a donation so that they can continue to rescue all of the future pups who need saving! Story
Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed/neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: Ms. 499 is a beautiful, but very cautious, pitty-lab mix. She has a full black coat with a white crest on her chest. She is very much a lover and snuggler and likes curling up on the couch beside you or at your feet for a nap. She is curious and wants to investigate and then play with all of the toys. She is a smart and curious girl who is learning some basic commands (like sit) and to do her business outside. She is eager to please, so she should be easy to train, and she will make for a loving, attentive companion. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 - I'm already spayed/neutered! All animals are UTD on vaccines (may need boosters) and microchipped From the foster: OMG! This boy, who I'm calling Thaddeus is just so sweet and loving. Which is good cuz he's gonna be BIG! (maybe mastiff mix??) He is obsessed with his human and will follow them anywhere. You may never spend a moment alone again if he has anything to say about it. He has a cute little chip out of his ear which really just adds to the puppy dog eyes. He gets along great with my dogs and takes corrections well (even from my 6 month old pup who really doesn't need to be bossing anyone around). And I really think he'd do great in any home - dogs, cats, kids, chickens, whatever. He doesn't have a care in the world as long as he can sit next to you! He's still working on potty training and may need some more deliberate crate training (currently doesn't go in willingly but that might just be that he wants to be with me). He is a little nervous when he first got to my house but he will follow you anywhere so it's a decently quick transition. He doesn't really seem to be bitey but he is a bit of a counter surfer, he just wants to check out everything it seems. Update from foster parent: he only had accidents in the crate on the first night - otherwise he is fully crate potty-trained (even through my long work day yesterday). Just needs positive crate reinforcement so he goes in willingly. No accidents in the house as we spend plenty of time in the yard when I'm home. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
