Story

If you are  looking for a really athletic dog that can keep up with you, then look no further! Clark loves to run and spend time outdoors. He has the biggest smile, and eyes that stare deeply into yours. He would make a great running or hiking companion. He also enjoys going on walks as there is always something new to sniff or explore. True to a cattle dog’s nature (of which he is nearly 40%) while he is reserved at first, once he gets to know you he is a total snuggle bug. He loves belly rubs in the morning, and full body couch time in the evenings. He is building confidence on our gymkhana equipment (see his new video). He loves to race at top speed around the yard, weaving and dodging obstacles like a slalom racer. Clark is also smart, and loyal (that boxer in him). His mom was shepherd which also contributes to his smarts, and athleticism. All combined, the results are that he is 100% a good boy. He is good with other dogs and thrives on a good game of “keep away”, or “chase me”, or “wrestle mania”      ##1782958##

Hello, Hello my name is Bowie (full unofficial name Sir Bowie Iggy Stardust the Ninth), and I am a lab mix that just moved to Colorado from New Mexico! The first thing you need to know about me is that I am SMART. Perhaps of the canine Mensa variety, but I am no Ivy League snob. I am very observant and as such I start to understand how my foster humans do things, and while I also learn from (and absolutely love to play with) other pups in my foster home and I am also a pretty good leader. My favorite toys are of the fabric variety, so watch your towels, watch your linens, watch your wives cus they're stealing out there. I love food and will move mountains for it, but I also know how to share and I chew my food thoroughly -- I see through the lies of my foster humans though, I know there's pills in the wet food, but I entertain them. I do great on a leash and really just want to be hanging with my people.  I sleep great in my crate and have mastered the doggy door! And everyone compliments how polite I am. I know sit, wait, lay down and come! I will fall asleep on you and you will tell by my faint little snore made for a Disney movie. My best forever home would be one with another dog friend to play with, and one where I get enough mental stimulation to keep me sharp. I am so so excited to give my love and loyalty to my new forever family -- can't wait to meet you all, hope you're looking for a cuddle buddy!  ##1884683##

Sweetie is well....you guessed it! A SWEETIE! She has such a calm demeanor. She loves pats and tummy rubs and will be your snuggle buddy! She loves to play with our dog and any other dog she meets and also is more than happy to relax and snuggle on the couch. She does great ignoring the squirrels in the neighborhood on walks even when they try to torment her! She sleeps great in her crate over night and shows a lot of drive and is a quick learner when it comes to training and is food motivated! She would do well in a house with other dogs and or kiddos and loves to please her humans! She knows sit, lay down, up and down, and place! She enjoys accompanying her foster parents and foster dog sibling on car rides, walks, and visits to breweries. Heidi has a lot of energy and is a lovable goofball!  She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she warms up to you, you’re in!  She loves attention, follows me everywhere. Heidi is great on a leash and loves long walks & hikes.  She LOVES to play fetch – would play it all day long if she could (inside or outside). She gets along well with our adult dog; they love to tussle!  Heidi is potty trained. She knows some basic commands, but we’re still working on some, including the crate.  She learns easily as she is food motivated (she especially loves hotdogs). She would do best in an active household. Heidi would thrive in a home where she is provided the time and patience to become fully comfortable with her surroundings. Overall, Heidi is a very cute, sweet, funny girl that will make her forever family very happy! ##1944695##
