Story
Echo is a good boy overall! He is very energetic and needs LOTS of room to roam. We acquired him from a friend who could not keep him due to living in an apartment. He’s been with us for two years and has been a good dog we just work a lot and can’t give him adequate time to burn out his energy. He can jump very high so a six foot fence is a must. He doesn’t do well on walks and public setting due to him wanting to go everywhere other than the desired destination. He’s been part of a family with two small children ages 2-8. Acquainting him with new dogs is a little difficult but not impossible. He does “talk” a bit being part husky. He needs a home where he’s able to run around most of the day and someone who will be home with him most days.

Story
Hi, I’m trying to urgently but responsibly rehome a 7-year-old 60 pound spayed black lab mix named Bonnie in the Denver area due to unrelated life circumstances. Bonnie is originally from the Atlanta Humane Society. She’s friendly with dogs, great with children, and has up to date vaccine and vet records. She rarely barks, but does communicate with soft howling. She enjoys tough chewer toys and stuffed animals, but will rip and de-stuff any non-rugged toys. Loves walks but also very lazy when it is cold outside. Questions for potential adopters, in addition to a meet and greet prior to commitment: 1. Do you currently have pets? 2. What is your living situation (house/apartment/yard)? 3. Have you owned dogs before?

Lazarus will thrive on a farm or large yard with a 6 foot fence with other animals. He is friendly with all age humans. House and leash trained. He was abandoned with a gunshot wound to his left hind leg which is fully recovered. He is very sweet, active and independent. Loves to be outside. An exceptional guardian.

Story
My father recently passed away, and I am trying to find a loving home for his sweet boxer, Luna, who is about 9 years old. She was his loyal companion, truly two old souls keeping each other company, and it’s really important to me that she finds a safe and caring place to land. Luna is house-trained, affectionate, and full of personality. She’s a goofy, loving girl who would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a dog without the puppy chaos. She may do best as the main pup, but if you already have a pack, we can absolutely schedule meet-ups to see if it is a good fit. Unfortunately, I’m not able to take her in myself because I already have multiple dogs and will soon have construction starting at my home, and my dad’s girlfriend isn’t able to keep her either. We are located in the Lakewood / Golden, Colorado area, and we’re happy to coordinate meet-and-greets or provide any additional information that might be helpful.

Story
Knox is an 11 week old Minature Australian Shepherd. I purchased him at 4 weeks old from a breeder in Oklahoma and at 9 weeks he came to live with us. Unfortunately due to my mother's declining health he needs to find a new home. He is a technically a blue merl but colors black, white and tan/ brown. He has one solid brown eye and his left eye is mostly brown but actually does have some blue. He currently is about 10 pounds but should be no more than 25 when full grown. We have been working diligently on potty training which he is getting but with being so young does need some work. He knows sit very well as well as his name and fetch. We are still working on, give, stay, here and down.We are looking for a living and patient home where he can get a lot of attention. He is a very active dog so a home that's active and on the move is ideal. He's silly, sassy and so loving.
