Story
Hamish was abandoned at a large commercial construction site by the husband of one of our volunteers. Hamish has the typical high energy of his breed. He is very loving and seeks affection. He's been great with every dog he has met and loves to play with them all. He is a little timid with new people but warms up quickly. He's a goofy boy, nicknamed Noodle because his body goes limp and wiggly when he gets petted! He keeps his kennel clean and runs right in for treats!

Story
We got Athena from Denver Dumb Friends when she was 1. She is very sweet, and great with all humans, including little kids. But she gets scared and goes after other dogs sometimes. She is great in a 1-dog household with people around. She is a spayed, 100% potty trained love muffin. Great on a leash.. She is five and is settled down a ton. She rarely ever shows aggression to other dogs, but she sometimes does. She has a basket muzzle she tolerates quite well for dog parks that I now use. I have elderly family with dogs I need to spend time with who do not want to chance it. She has lived with another dog for the last four years and plays well with most. If she really wanted to hurt another dog, she could. She has never really injured any dog she has tussled with-just scratches.. Maybe monthly, she will stop and bark at men, but never had an issue with women or children of any age. Plleeease consider this beauty. You won't regret it! No love like Pittie love!

Story
Sao is a well-traveled pup who has visited a few countries. He's a laid-back dog who enjoys napping in the sun or on a soft cushion. He's a bit of a couch potato, so long walks aren't his favorite. He does have a playful side that comes out, especially when he's outside! Sao is looking for a loving home without other dogs, but he gets along well with cats and kids. He loves a good ear scratch and is originally from Peru. Sao has short hair, doesn't bark inside, and can be trained to potty in a specific area of the yard. He has skin tags that can be removed but are not necessary to remove. His family is relocating abroad.

Story
This beautiful red nose/brindle Pitbull puppy was born January 31st, 2024. This was not planned, and we are looking for great families to love them dearly. She loves to play with other dogs! Luna (Moon) is a very sweet girl who loves snuggling at night but enjoys running around and playing with stuff toys (if she starts to whine and gets anxious when she is on your lap she needs to go out to the bathroom). She is very good at going to the bathroom outdoors and still uses the pee pads also. She also enjoys taking long naps when she is relaxed. Her mom is still trying to feed her, but she is too big already. Very smart and attentive, loves to look after you and learn new things. We have her mom & dad. We can't keep all of them as we wish, but our personal goal is to reunite them all with their adoptive parents to celebrate their 1st year birthday! If you need more pictures or information, please let me know, we are in the Belmar neighborhood. The rehoming fee could be negotiable.
