Story
Name: Lady Nesbit Sweetington Breed: Pitbull Mix Sex: Spayed Female Age: 2 years Weight: 49 lbs Good with dogs? Yes, with proper introduction. Good with cats? Yes, her prior foster said she was good with a cat after a slow introduction. Good with kids? Lady Nesbit Sweetington was gentle when she met a baby, showing her sweet side. Because of her playful (and sometimes bouncy!) energy, she may be better suited for a home with older children who can match her zest and give her space when she’s excited. Energy level: She’s the best of both worlds! Lady Nesbit Sweetington has a joyful, high-energy play style; she loves to romp, zoom, and be silly but also knows how to settle down and become your favorite snuggly couch potato. Medical/Behavioral needs: Lady Nesbit Sweetington has allergies that cause some hair loss around her eyes. To keep her comfortable, she receives Cytopoint injections (50 mg) about every 6 weeks (approx. $70–$100 per injection) and can also take diphenhydramine (Benadryl, 50 mg as needed). She does best on a no-poultry diet, which helps manage her symptoms. Ongoing care will include routine follow-up with your veterinarian to keep her feeling her best. Animal Characteristics: Introducing Lady Nesbit Sweetington, the perfect blend of sweetness, silliness, and snuggles! This affectionate girl lights up every room she enters with her wiggly joy and big, loving heart. One minute she’s zooming around in pure delight, and the next she’s curled up next to you, soaking in every bit of affection. She’s friendly with dogs (with a proper introduction), has done well with a cat, and even showed her gentle side around a baby. Because of her playful bounce, she’d thrive with older kids who can join her in the fun and give her space when she’s feeling extra wiggly. She’s eager to find her forever family who will laugh at her goofy antics, enjoy cozy cuddles, and love her just as she is Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. Story
Super-super sweet and gentle -- that's Tank, through and through! He's a big lover and a great family dog -- calm, easygoing and fun to be around. He loves being petted, giving kisses, and cuddling in your lap. If he seems a little shy when you meet, just offer him a treat! He's a big fan of cheese, chicken and hot dogs and would probably love trips to Starbucks for a Puppuccino. Tank sits for treats and enjoys a snuffle mat or a snuffle box, puzzle toys and Kongs to help keep him busy. He's a breeze to walk with a cute little strut, housetrained, and he lived well with another dog and a cat. Come meet Tank, the sweetest lap dog ever, and find out how wonderful he is!December 23, 2025, 10:04 pm

Story
Name: Rudy Breed: Great Dane Sex: Neutered Male Age: 7.5 years Weight: 110 lbs Animal Number: 4301 Sweet, Gentle, Affectionate, Cuddly Good with dogs? Yes, he lives with two resident dogs, one young and energetic, the other older and laid back. He barks at most dogs on leash and is responsive to commands. Good with cats? No. Rudy is interested in and may chase cats and other small animals like squirrels, bunnies and birds. Good with kids? Not Tested, but he is a gentle giant. Due to his size and the possibility of him accidentally knocking into a smaller person, kids 10+ may be best. Energy level: Medium to Low. He enjoys one or two mellow walks a day, and does well on a leash. He is a buddy dog and loves cuddling. Animal Characteristics: Rudy is sweet, gentle, affectionate and cuddly. He has a stunning blue merle coat, a charming smile, soulful eyes and a kind, calm spirit as big as his handsome frame. He is always ready to lean in for love and snuggles. Lovable Rudy lost his comfortable home and doggie sibling when his owner could no longer care for him. Despite the sudden change, Rudy remains a cheerful boy who believes his brighter days are ahead. Rudy is well-mannered, knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, and carries himself with dignity. He happily follows his humans from room to room, then relaxes for a nap on a cozy couch or in his big dog bed. He is worried by loud noises or sudden movements and appreciates the comfort of human companionship. He is friendly, likes meeting new people, and only barks at noises coming from the outside of his home. Rudy is a magnificent pup who is ready to meet his forever family! Story
Name: Walter Breed: Queensland Heeler/Boxer Sex: Neutered Male Age: 2 years Weight: 50 lbs Happy, Exuberant, Best Friend Good with dogs? Walter loves to meet new friends and loves to play! He does best with dogs that match his energy level and will run and chase them. Good with cats? Not Tested. He has seen cats while out on walks and has not been overly interested. Walter has met a chicken and was very curious, but not aggressive. Good with kids? Walter has met children and has been good with them. Because of his puppy-mouthing, he might be best with older kids, 7+, or those that are accustomed to high energy dogs. Energy level: High! Walter needs plenty of activity, exercise and stimulation to be his best self. He loves walks, is good on a leash, did well on a hike, and likes brain challenges like training and puzzles. He loves his flirt poke, chew toys and plush panda. He will also sit and rest nicely on a dog bed or couch. Animal Characteristics: Walter is a happy-go-lucky, exuberant boy who is eager to please. He is a gentle soul with a heart full of life and a body full of energy! He wants to be your best friend and activity buddy and go everywhere with you. He is very smart, trainable and ready to learn. He already knows many commands and is fully potty trained. He is crate trained, but he’d rather stay close to his people and will tell you so. Walter is talkative and will do best in a home without shared walls. He loves riding in cars and is ready to go be your partner in life’s joyful journey! Once he has expended his energy, he’s a sweet snuggle bug who loves pets and belly rubs. Walter is young and needs an active adopter who is dedicated to his ongoing training and enrichment.
