Story
Cooper is a loving, curious, and sweet old man, but he also is sensitive. He loves to be pet but be careful around his ears, hips and feet or else he will yelp. He has some patience, but he cannot handle being around small children who do not understand boundaries. If he is pinched, pulled on, or bitten he may retaliate. I love this dog quite a bit, but I cannot keep my toddler away from him without containing him behind a gate or closed off in a room which is not fair to him. If he is locked away in another room or left outside, he will bark endlessly. He wants to be where the people are, even if all he chooses to do is sleep in your presence. Cooper needs an owner who is easy going, likes to walk, likes to give pets, and has patience. He can be loud when he sees another dog or a new person in the home but he is friendly. He would be fine around grown kids who will not harass him, but toddlers are a definite no-go. He has bitten my toddler (lightly) and we cannot risk it again.

Story
I got Eli from a friend who knew someone who didn't want her. Eli is about 8 years old. At the time I was a stay-at-home mom and wanted a companion. Now, I am so busy that I don't walk her. I work and I am in school. I also have 2 autistic children whom when I got Eli, they were pre-school age and their needs weren't as much. Now my life revolves around my daughters welfare. As I write this, I am crying becuase it makes me feel sad that I have to let her go. Eli is a sweet girl that only wants to be loved back. She is very tolerant with kids and others. She is still very full of energy and can run and be silly. She does love to bark quite a bit, I wonder if its her being nervous. When I got her, I don't know what had happened where she came from or if it was a cause of her moving to a new home (me) that made her nervous like. She seems to get or be scared of sudden noises. Like I said she does bark. She will also need medical attent

Story
We got Frijol when he was a pup from an ex co-worker of my husbands. He was supposed to be a companion for me because at the time I was a stay at home mom. I am now working and have a severely autistic child that makes it difficult to fully care for Frijol. I would like someone who is patient and loving. He is very active and full of energy. He still has accidents wherever he pleases lol smh. He loves affection and even though he can be too much, he is adorable. He did grow up with our other dog we are also rehoming, if anyone can take both that would be ideal. Frijol is awesome around humans but can get aggressive if he sees another animal and will want to run to it. He's never bit, or I have never had any issues. Sometimes I think its all bark-but I don't know. He is very alpha though. He is a very loving handsome fellow.

Story
We brought Zola home a bit over a year ago as a foster from a rescue agency and nursed her back to a healthy happy girl. She was initially afraid of everyone and everything and had clearly been abused. She is afraid of men and we believe a male was likely her abuser. We have tried everything, but she just barks at my husband. As much as we love her, we feel that she needs an all female home. She does great with other dogs. She has not been exposed directly to children. I suspect she would be afraid of them. She will initially require some TLC as she adjusts to her new environment and person, but if you are kind and patient with her, you will be rewarded with unconditional love and a faithful companion! She loves to go everywhere with "her person", walks well on a leash (goes on 6 mile hikes with me), and absolutely loves to cuddle. She really is a sweet girl! Dog crate, dog bed, food, treats and other supplies included. Adoption fee negotiable. Serious inquiries only please.

Story
Charlotte is a beautiful 4-year-old female pit bull weighing approximately 80 pounds. She is incredibly affectionate with her people and loves snuggling on the couch. She is intelligent, confident, independent, and an excellent watchdog who takes her job of protecting her home seriously. Charlotte is happiest when she has a strong bond with her people and plenty of space to relax. She respects human boundaries well and enjoys both companionship and quiet downtime. Because of conflicts with other dogs in her current home, Charlotte is seeking a home where she can be the only pet. She would thrive with an experienced owner who appreciates large-breed dogs and wants a loyal, devoted companion. She is not being rehomed because she is aggressive toward people; rather, she needs a home environment where she does not have to share space with other dogs. This decision is being made out of love and concern for the safety and well-being of all dogs involved. Charlotte deserves a home where sh
