Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ginger.  This sweet girl is about eight years old.  She is a Beagle/Chihuahua mix with short hair that does not shed or need grooming. Ginger is spayed, up to date on her veterinary needs and weighs a trim 17 pounds. She is house trained and walks well on a leash but does not show the need to go outside often as she is very comfortable lounging in the house.  Ginger gets along very well with her other dog friends and does not mind cats,  She is good with children and very affectionate once she is familiar with people.  Her experience has made her quite resourceful and she will 'ask' for extra treats so she can hide them for a rainy day along with other treasures she may find.Ginger loves hopping up on the couch to snuggle with her foster Dad.  She also enjoys chilling by herself.  She would thrive in a quiet household with another dog to be friends with.    Ginger would be a loyal and loving companion in a relatively calm environment with few people. As her foster, she has been a true pleasure to have and watch her blossom into a very happy furry friend.  She would be a great dog for a low key person.   Ginger does have a treatable condition called Polycythemia Vera.  This is a condition that causes too high of a red blood cell count.  The treatment is blood letting every 13 weeks.  With this simple treatment, Ginger will lead a normal happy life.  If Ginger's adopter continues to use our veterinarian, there is a grant set up to pay for the treatment of her condition.  She exhibits no symptoms from this condition.   Can you find it in your heart to help this good girl?  She will love you with her whole heart.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 3, 2026, 2:05 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Ramona!   Ramona came from a bad hoarding situation. This sweet girl had never been outside until she came into foster care.  She is now potty trained and loves going outside and playing with her foster siblings!! When Ramona first came into rescue she was terrified of being outside and would only use potty pads indoors, so this is a huge step forward for Ramona! She has also discovered toys and LOVES them.  She constantly follows her foster Mom and will sit next to her on the couch.  What does a perfect home look like for Ramona?Ramona needs a securely fenced yard, as she is a flight risk if frightened.  She needs a patient person who will move slowly with her and allow her to gain trust in them. She definitely needs another dog in the house for companionship and to help her feel safe.  Are you the type of person who can give Ramona the attention she needs to continue coming out of her shell?  If so, you will find she is a treasure. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi!  My name is Toby.I am a 10 year old toy poodle.  I am neutered, UTD on my vaccinations and according to my foster Mom, an absolute cuddle bug.  I get along with dogs of all sizes and I really like kids.  I have not met any cats, so I do not know what to think of them!!I came to rescue as a neglect case.  My hair was matted and I had a deformed back leg that only got in the way of me moving easily.  Well I got a short haircut (It will grow back so pretty, I promise!) and had that bad leg amputated.  I'm recoving from that surgery like a champ and you should see me get around on three legs! Life is so much better without that old leg. I included a video of me soon after surgery showing how well I walk.Because I was neglected before I came to rescue....I am still working on house training.  I get better and better each day. I hope you will understand and work with me as I learn this important life skill!I am hoping to find a family that will let me follow them everywhere, play ball and cuddle.  I am full of love that I want to share with my forever family.Do I sound like the boy for you?  Fill out an application and let's meet IRL.  Hope to see you soon,Love,TobyAdoption fee to help cover Toby's vet expenses:  $150.00Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 1, 2026, 10:31 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there, my name is JJ!I am a 1 year old Jack Russel Terrier looking for my forever home!  Somehow I ended up as a stray and got sent to a shelter.  The nice folks there called Frankies Furry Friends and I got to go to a foster home with a nice Mom and a foster dog brother!  Once there, I showed my Foster Mom I was house trained.  I get along great with my foster brother....we LOVE to play together.  I went to the vet and got all my vaccines.  Just recently, I got neutered.  That wasn't much fun, but it had to be done so I could go to a wonderful home and be a super good boyNow I am ready to find my furever home.  I have puppy energy, so I need a home where I can play in a fenced yard or go for a couple of walks/day.  I like children, so I would be a good family dog.  I love to run and play plus I am an 18 pound lap dog.  My pictures don't show it, but I have the cutest little stubby tail that wags and wags!!  You've got to see how cute it is.Do I sound like a great addition to your family?  If so, fill out an application and we can meet in person.  Hope to see you soon,JJAdoption fee to help defray vet expenses:  $300Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 3, 2026, 6:52 pm
