Story
Moose is a big, fluffy baby who loves belly rubs. He has been around 2 cats and his big Great Pyrenees sister his entire live life. He would do well with a big yard so he can get some energy out. He doesn't have a lot but when he does, it's a shot of adrenaline.

Story
Sullivan is a dog of many nicknames; James P. Sullivan, Sulley, Sulley Man, So So, Dink, Dinkey... No matter what you call him, he`s the same sweet, lazy old man of a dog who just wants to snuggle. His family had him all of his life, but were unable to take him due to no fault of his own, as they couldn`t find a place to live that allowed him to come with. He lived with many kids ages 3-12, and has been around many other dogs before, so he`s an expert on being a great family dog. Sullivan`s hobbies include sunbathing, going on car rides, begging for food, being bathed with a water hose, and talking back. If he`s got a problem with something, you will absolutely hear it from him, especially during nail trims and when he`s put in the bathtub. His owner remarked he does poorly when left alone, and does poorly being left in a crate, which may need to be addressed and worked with while in the home. It`s easy to tell, but he`s a big fan of food, and we`re working on taking steps to get him down to a healthier weight that`ll need to be continued in his new home. Sulley will thrive in a family with kids who will love him for his big personality and laid back presence. We highly suggest doing a Meet-and-Greet with the entire family - and possibly even taking him out on a Paw Pass - to see if your home is the right fit for this wonderful older fella!

Story
Lucas would like to make a few things clear right up front: he enjoys long walks where he can read all the neighborhood “pee-mail,” he takes fetch very seriously, and if you have a couch… he would very much like to discuss shared custody. This playful, affectionate guy brings to the table a perfect balance of adventure and snuggles. He enjoys walks, toys, and a good game of fetch, but once he’s had some activity he’s perfectly happy relaxing nearby and keeping his people company. Lucas especially loves a comfy couch and will politely wait for an invitation before hopping up. He also knows the commands `sit`, `stay`, `place`, and `heel`.He does well on a leash and is still polishing his “gentleman on a stroll” skills. Lucas can get a little excited when he sees other dogs on walks, but he responds well to redirection and has been described as very bright and trainable.Lucas is friendly, loving, and generous with kisses. He is housebroken, rides well in the car, and loves having toys to carry around and play fetch or tug with.If you’re looking for a playful companion who enjoys adventures, but can also relax and be your couch-side sidekick, Lucas might be your guy. Stop by SPCA Cincinnati and meet him today!

This is Jax!! Jax is a sweet and smart boy. He`s house-broken and crate-trained, and knows the commands `sit`, `stay`, and `wait`. He is very treat-motivated and always eager to learn new things!Jax loves blankets, chewy bones, car rides, and playing outside. He absolutely loves his people, turning into a snuggly and affectionate dog when he`s around his friends. He`s been around other dogs and children ages 10 and up, but hasn`t had the pleasure of being around any cats.If you have any other dogs or children, please bring them with you. Jax would prefer a proper introduction, so he can get to know his potential new family better. If Jax sounds like the pawfect companion for your family, come visit him at SPCA Cincinnati today!

Story
Meet Timber! Timber is a high-energy, happy pup who’s always ready for fun! Timber is incredibly curious and alert at all times- always with her nose to the ground and investigating new smells. She loves to explore outside, going on long walks or having long play sessions in fenced-in areas. Timber knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, and `wait`, and she is a smart girl who’s VERY treat-motivated and eager to keep learning. Timber absolutely loves attention and thrives when she’s spending time with her people.Timber can be a bit picky with her dog friends- she has had fun with other dogs in our playgroups at the shelter, but has also had other times where she didn`t have as much fun with certain dogs. Timber may prefer to have the house to herself so she can soak up all the love. With that being said, if you do have dogs at home and would like to give it a try, we would do a meet-and-greet at the shelter to see if your dogs can pass Timber`s vibe check. If you’re looking for an energetic, affectionate companion who’s ready for adventures and cuddles alike, Timber might be the perfect match for you!
