Story
Rudy is a super sweet boxer mix! He loves bones, to run and play, and will be your best friend. He loves playing with other dogs so would do well with at least one other dog in the house. He has been trained with a dog trainer, he listens really well, and responds well to his e collar. He turned a year old on December 18, 2025. He is about 60 pounds, but shouldn't grow much more. He would do well in a home with a fenced in yard or someone who can walk him everyday. He also loves going to doggie daycare. He is still young and has a lot of energy, but is a lot of fun. He is potty and crate trained. Is great with kids too. He deserves a home that can give him a lot of attention and space to run.

Story
Shadow isn’t just a dog — he’s the full package: outdoorsy enough to conquer a weekend camping trip, mellow enough to nap through a thunderstorm, and loyal enough to follow your every move (hence the name). He just spent a week roughing it with his foster family and proved he’s a total catch — smart, funny, affectionate, and perfectly content just being wherever his people are. He’s been working hard on clicker training and confidence building, and he’s absolutely thriving with structure, love, and a soft spot to land.Shadow would do best in a calm home with someone (who will continue his training) who appreciates a good balance of adventure and relaxation — bonus points if you’ve got great snack options and a comfy couch. He’s available through his foster home, so meet-and-greets are by appointment only.To set one up, contact:Lauri Ann (LA) – 513-687-7598Shadow’s ready to leave “foster dog” in the rearview mirror and finally become somebody’s “best boy.”

Story
Daphne is a six-year-old, well-behaved girl who likes to have things organized and in order. She tries to make sure everyone goes to bed at a decent time, she gets frustrated when her ball gets stuck behind the couch—but she loves to sit really close to her people on the couch. She has expressive eyes and beautiful dappled white and gray fur. Her absolute favorite thing is an industrial-strength ball or a chew toy. Her least favorite thing is when her sister Iris tries to annoy her- but despite being the more stoic of the two, she will occasionally tolerate snuggles with Iris. Daphne came into the shelter with her sister Iris. They aren`t littermates, but look nearly identical and were adopted at the same time, living together for 4 years. They would love to go home together again, but it is not required. We aren`t sure how Daphne does around dogs other than Iris, so if you have a dog at home, please bring them to the shelter to do a meet-and-greet to ensure a good match! The same goes for children- Daphne loves everyone she meets, but it still is a good idea to bring the whole family with you to the shelter to meet her prior to adopting. If Daphne (or her sister) sounds like the perfect match for you, visit her at SPCA Cincinnati today.

Story
Prepare to have your heart melted by Biscuit! This young pup is quite literally bursting with energy, and needs lots of room for him to get it all out. Once he`s gotten his zoomies out, he is very eager to train with enough time and plenty of treats; he already knows how to sit! He enjoys getting to play with other dogs, taking car rides, staring out the window, and listening to Ozzy Osbourne. When he`s all tired out from a long day of running and playing, he`s an affectionate and sweet boy who loves to sleep on the couch. If you have the home that`s right for Biscuit, come pay him a visit at SPCA Cincinnati!
