Story

The best way to describe Glizzy is that he just has a zest for life! He loves to play with his tennis ball, rope, or pretty much any toy (although he WILL destroy stuffed dog toys, he does love them lol). He enjoys being outside and sunbathing on the porch. He also can't resist a good butt scratch or a chance to ride in the car. But what he loves more than anything is food! Everyday eating breakfast and dinner is his favorite part of the day! He is 3y/o & professionally trained to sit, come, place, lay down, spin, jump, off, leave it, & can even balance a treat on his nose and catch it! He is crate & potty trained. He is also great around kids! He loves them and is very gentle with them. He is great with other dogs. He literally doesn't have one mean bone in his body haha! We love him so much but we move A LOT (5+ times in 3 years). We no longer have a yard for him to play in, & also just had our first baby. We just know he needs more than we can give him right now!

Meet Beefcake! Beefcake is a lovely dog just waiting for his forever home. He came to our shelter as a transfer from a different shelter down in Tennessee. He may be a beefy boy, but he walks well on a leash and is friendly with everyone he meets. He knows sit and paw—though sometimes it’s hard for him to sit still because he’s so excited and full of energy!Beefcake has done well at the shelter in playgroups with other dogs! He is a high energy, playful boy who loves to rumble and tumble with the other dogs who match his energy. If you have dog friends at home, definitely consider adding Beefcake to your pack- and bring your dogs along to the shelter to do a meet-and-greet! Hello! My name is OJ, and I sure am the coolest pup on the block! I am a young dog, so you will find that while I am friendly and playful, I mostly have a gentle and calm disposition. We will have so much fun just hanging out - especially if you have treats for me! Do you like to go for walks? I love to walk and I am great on a leash - I walk at a very nice pace. So that tells you I am smart! My forever family can be just one person or many more -I have been around kids, dogs and even ferrets. My good nature helps me to get along with people quite nicely. If you have kids and/or a dog at home, it is highly encouraged that you bring them along to the shelter to meet me and see if it`ll be a good fit! Please come and spend some time with me!
