Story
Artemis is a very sweet girl. She will be 10 on January 7th. She still loves to play tug a war and fetch, going for walks and car rides. She is crate trained but I only use it when maintenance is over or during a thunderstorm (she does NOT like fireworks or thunderstorms). She currently lives with 2 cats and has lived with other dogs before. That being said- she has a high prey drive being part beagle, and likes to chase things if/when they run. She also has leash aggression and will pull on the leash when she sees a strange dog. She does well at daycare however and loves being around my mom's yellow lab. She likes to be "in charge" of the pack and will sometimes try to hump other dogs, but is submissive with humans. She is good with older kids (10 years or older) but likes to jump and lick in the face so not good for younger kids. She is a very loving dog who still has alot to give and is looking for a new forever home with a fenced in yard so she can run and play. ♥️

Story
Hello! My name is OJ, and I sure am the coolest pup on the block! I am a young dog, so you will find that while I am friendly and playful, I mostly have a gentle and calm disposition. We will have so much fun just hanging out - especially if you have treats for me! Do you like to go for walks? I love to walk and I am great on a leash - I walk at a very nice pace. So that tells you I am smart! My forever family can be just one person or many more -I have been around kids, dogs and even ferrets. My good nature helps me to get along with people quite nicely. If you have kids and/or a dog at home, it is highly encouraged that you bring them along to the shelter to meet me and see if it`ll be a good fit! Please come and spend some time with me!

Story
Lucas would like to make a few things clear right up front: he enjoys long walks where he can read all the neighborhood “pee-mail,” he takes fetch very seriously, and if you have a couch… he would very much like to discuss shared custody. This playful, affectionate guy has a great balance of fun and relaxation. He enjoys walks, toys, and a good game of fetch, but once he’s had some activity he’s perfectly happy relaxing nearby and keeping his people company. Lucas especially loves a comfy couch and will politely wait for an invitation before hopping up. he also knows some commands sit, stay, and heel.He walks fairly well on leash and is still polishing his “gentleman on a stroll” skills. Lucas can get a little excited when he sees other dogs on walks, but he responds well to redirection and guidance.Lucas is friendly, loving, and generous with kisses. He may give a quick alert bark when someone new arrives, but he warms up quickly and enjoys meeting people. He appears to be house trained, rides well in the car once settled, and loves having toys to carry around. If you’re looking for a playful companion who enjoys adventures but also knows how to relax and be your couch-side sidekick, Lucas might be your guy.

Story
Meet Timber! Timber is a high-energy, happy pup who’s always ready for fun! Timber is incredibly curious and alert at all times- always with her nose to the ground and investigating new smells. She loves to explore outside, going on long walks or having long play sessions in fenced-in areas. Timber knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, and `wait`, and she is a smart girl who’s VERY treat motivated and eager to keep learning. Timber absolutely loves attention and thrives when she’s spending time with her people.Timber spends a lot of her time at the shelter in playgroups with other dogs! She really enjoys it- she is a very high energy, rowdy girl! She does best with dogs who meet her energy, as she can be a bit overwhelming for the shyer ones. If you have canine friends in the home already, we would be thrilled for you to bring them into the shelter for a meet-and-greet to make sure they match Timber`s speed! If you’re looking for an energetic, affectionate companion who’s ready for adventures and cuddles alike, Timber might be the perfect match for you!

Story
Carl is a gentle, quiet boy who is still learning to feel confident in the world around him. While timid at first, he handled his outing calmly, rode well in the car, and showed no anxiety. He did nicely with both adults and children and seems to prefer calm environments over chaos. Carl is still gaining experience with leash walking, toys, and everyday life outside the shelter, so he would thrive with a patient adopter willing to let him move at his own pace.Low-energy, sweet, and quietly observant, Carl is the kind of dog who just wants a safe place to land

Story
Buddy is a little new to our shelter, but we know that he does love to be around people! He has lived with kids and small dogs and done well. His former owner noted he likes to chase cats, so he may not appreciate feline friends. With our group play dogs, he has a lot of energy to play and have fun. Please come in to meet him!
