Story
Meet Timber! Timber is a high-energy, happy pup who’s always ready for fun! Timber is incredibly curious and alert at all times- always with her nose to the ground and investigating new smells. She loves to explore outside, going on long walks or having long play sessions in fenced-in areas. Timber knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, and `wait`, and she is a smart girl who’s VERY treat motivated and eager to keep learning. Timber absolutely loves attention and thrives when she’s spending time with her people.Timber spends a lot of her time at the shelter in playgroups with other dogs! She really enjoys it- she is a very high energy, rowdy girl! She does best with dogs who meet her energy, as she can be a bit overwhelming for the shyer ones. If you have canine friends in the home already, we would be thrilled for you to bring them into the shelter for a meet-and-greet to make sure they match Timber`s speed! If you’re looking for an energetic, affectionate companion who’s ready for adventures and cuddles alike, Timber might be the perfect match for you!

Story
This beam of sunshine is Gus! A little guy who is here because he is deeply loved by people who want to give him a much better life than what they were able to give. He is crate trained, very loving, intelligent, and an energetic pup. So far, he`s learned how to sit, lay down, come when called, and wait for permission before eating dinner. He`s only a puppy, so he`s still perfecting these commands, but he will improve with further training and establishing a routine.Gus loves to play fetch, swing from rope toys, baths, and snuggling in bed (when he`s allowed to). He`s also a big fan of long walks, a family to love on him, small dogs, and cats. He can be shy around dogs that are bigger than him, but is a big fan of getting to run around at the dog park and meet all the other puppies there. He would do best with a family that has plenty of time to train him, play with him, and incorporate him into their daily lives. If you have any kids or other pets, bring them in for a meet-and-greet, or consider taking him overnight on a Paw Pass to see how he does at your home!

Story
Meet Ferry!Ferry is a beautiful mixed-breed girl who is just about 2 years old and currently searching for her forever home. This sweet island girl traveled all the way from St. Lucia and is still getting used to her new surroundings. She has a gentle personality and can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and kindness she begins to show her sweet nature. We are still learning about her and aren’t yet sure how she is with children. If you`re looking for a kind-hearted dog who just needs a loving home to help her blossom, Ferry could be the perfect match. Come meet this girl today and see if she’s the missing piece of your family.

Story
Sandy is a playful, high-energy young boy who came to us via our shelter-to-shelter transport program from the island of St. Lucia. He’s social and friendly with other dogs, though a little shy at first, and loves making canine friends. We don’t yet know how Sandy would do with cats or children, as he hasn’t been exposed to them before. Like many young pups, he will need consistent, ongoing training and enrichment to help him thrive in his new home. Sandy will also need a refresher in housebreaking due to his time in the shelter. With patience, structure, and plenty of positive experiences, Sandy is ready to grow into a loving, loyal companion. He would do best in a home that can give him the attention, activity, and guidance he needs to shine.Sandy’s playful spirit and love for other dogs make him a perfect match for an active family looking to add a joyful, social pup to their life!

Story
Royalty is a playful and affectionate pup who thrives on companionship. She is a sweet and loving girl who can seem a bit timid at first- but opens up quickly with a little patience and a lot of treats! When she loves you, Royalty gets excited to snuggle and will try to become a lap dog, despite her bigger size. She enjoys going on walks and playing fetch. Royalty has a combination of calm energy and hyper moments that make her a fun, balanced dog for any lifestyle.Royalty would do best in a home without young children. She has done well in playgroups at the shelter, and enjoys roughhousing with dogs who match her energy! That being said, if you have another dog, a meet-and-greet at the shelter will ensure they get along well. Royalty will make a wonderful, loving companion with the right guidance and care! If you would like to meet her, please stop by SPCA Cincinnati to visit her and all our other adoptable pets.

Story
Meet Hawaiian Sweet Roll, also known as Piglet! This sweet little pittie is all about enjoying life’s simple pleasures—leisurely walks, tasty treats, and, of course, a good roll in the mud every now and then. She has a gentle, loving personality and is sure to steal your heart with her charm.Piglet is still building her confidence, especially around other dogs, so we recommend bringing any resident pups in for a meet-and-greet. The same goes for children, as we’re still learning how she feels about them. With a little patience and love, Piglet is sure to blossom into an amazing companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing girl to share your days with (and maybe don’t mind a little extra cleanup after her muddy adventures), Piglet might just be your perfect match!
