He absolutely loves his people, turning into a snuggly and affectionate dog when he`s around his friends.He`s been around other dogs and children ages 10 and up, but hasn`t had the pleasure of being around any cats.If you have any other dogs or children, please bring them with you. Meet Timber! Timber is a high-energy, happy pup who’s always ready for fun! Timber is incredibly curious and alert at all times- always with her nose to the ground and investigating new smells. She loves to explore outside, going on long walks or having long play sessions in fenced-in areas. Timber knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, and `wait`, and she is a smart girl who’s VERY treat-motivated and eager to keep learning. Timber absolutely loves attention and thrives when she’s spending time with her people.Timber can be a bit picky with her dog friends- she has had fun with other dogs in our playgroups at the shelter, but has also had other times where she didn`t have as much fun with certain dogs. Timber may prefer to have the house to herself so she can soak up all the love. With that being said, if you do have dogs at home and would like to give it a try, we would do a meet-and-greet at the shelter to see if your dogs can pass Timber`s vibe check.If you’re looking for an energetic, affectionate companion who’s ready for adventures and cuddles alike, Timber might be the perfect match for you!

This is Piper! She`s a dog who likes being pampered and speaking her mind. She`s got a big personality, as well as a big appetite for Beggin` Strips and big Milkbones, which is the secret to making fast friends with her. In her previous home, she lived with a few pet rabbits, and spent quite a bit of time laying down and chilling out with them. All her life, she`s been around children as young as 3-years-old, and loves getting to play with them and soak up all their love and attention. When it comes to cats, she is not a fan of them at all, so she should go to a home that never intends to have any. Piper`s hobbies include car rides, getting pup cups, cuddling, and finding ways to get people to part with their food. She already knows the commands sit, lay down, and a few others she`ll do in exchange for treats. She loves going out to play in the dog park, and she does well playing with dogs of different sizes. She`s mostly figured out fetch, except for the part where she drops the ball so you can throw it again. We highly recommend bringing your whole family to meet her at our shelter if you`re interested in giving her a forever home, and/or taking her out for a Paw Pass!

Meet the magical Mystical! A lovely older lady who`d love to spend her days outside in a nice yard to enjoy the sun and the fresh air. Her iconic short-than-usual tail comes from an accident she has as a puppy, and it`s just another thing that makes her unique. While she can be a bit wary at first, she`s not too terribly shy around strangers, especially if they`re willing to offer pets and tasty treats. She lived around a small dog and did well with them. She was around younger kids frequently when she was also younger, but it`s been a few years; we aren`t sure if she`s still fine with them, or if she rather yell at them to get off her lawn. We do know she is not a fan of cats, so it`s best she goes into a cat-free home.Mystical enjoys getting to play outside in a fenced-in yard, which she hasn`t had the luxury of in a while. She`s a big fan of daily walks too. Both things will help her to bring her back to a healthy weight, along with a special diet supervised by a veterinarian. She can be quite picky about her treats, but will sometimes be polite enough to eat them in exchange for a sit command. This wonderful older gal will likely do best in a laid-back home with a yard and plenty of love and care to give her.

We will have so much fun hanging out - especially if you have treats for me! Do you like to go for walks? I love to walk and I am great on a leash - I walk at a very nice pace. So that tells you I am smart! My forever family can be just one person or many more - I LOVE other dogs and would love to have canine friends in my new home. I also have experience being around ferrets, surprisingly enough! My good nature helps me to get along with people quite nicely.
