Story
Gracie is five years old. She is a pitbull mix. Gracie is spayed and housebroken. She is also micro chipped. Gracie loves her people fiercely and greets you with a wagging tail and wiggling body. Gracie loves to play with toys, chew on bones, play tug with the rope, hunt lizards and sniff the ENTIRE yard. She is not the biggest fan of clothing. She loves to give kisses and snuggle and is happy to sleep on the end of the bed if given the opportunity. She is afraid of loud noises such as fireworks. Her arch nemesis is the vacuum. She would be best suited for a home without cats or small dogs.

Story
Meet Bosa! a sweet and energetic pup we found on the side of the road two years ago close to Ohio State. He is playful, loving, and full of life, but unfortunately, our jobs have become more demanding, and we are unable to give him the time and attention he deserves. Bosa is fantastic with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion to support him, especially when he is feeling nervous. Though he may take a little time to warm up to new people and environments, once he feels safe, he becomes a loyal and affectionate companion. He is potty trained, knows commands like; “sit”, “wait”, and “paw”, and walks well on a harness. He is incredibly food motivated and loves bones! He is a truly wonderful pup looking for a loving forever home! We have no adoption fee listed because we truly want him to find the best home and family.

Story
This is Red, he is 4, born Jan 11, 2021. We got Red in Greenville, South Carolina from a hunter who was breeding his redbones but not registering them. We have never had to do this before, we have had several large dogs that we have kept until they passed away at almost 14 years old. Because of medical problems we just cannot keep him. He doesn't jump on people, he is sweet and loving. All the neighborhood kids come to the fence, pet him and love on him. He plays with our 8 lb dog and our 12-year-old Blue Tick, both female, they are both spayed and he is neutered. He has regularly been around small children with no issues. We have a large fenced yard and he loves to run, he would need plenty of space. Anyone who has had a red bone can imagine how hard this is for us, this was my husband's dream dog and we love him so much but he is not getting the love and attention he deserves.

Story
Sadie is an energetic 3 year old we rescued from a shelter. When she was rescued she was in need of medical attention due to an injured leg. She is all nursed back to health and loves to play! She especially loves water. My husband passed recently and I can not able to keep up with her energy/strength. She will do best with an owner who can give her plenty of exercise, more training and mental stimulation - she is very smart! Note: In her attempt to get you to play, she can nip/pull at clothing and has occasionally nipped me. This is not in aggression, but to initiate play and/or excitement. That is why I marked "no" to "has she bitten anyone"?

Story
Adopted in Louisville in 2014 at around a year old. He is low energy and gets along okay with cats and dogs, but can be territorial around food. Would do best in a home without other dogs or small kids. Very low maintenance, very well house trained and enjoys laying on the couch or dog bed. Crate trained but sleeps in a room with dog bed. Leash trained but can pull. Would be a great fit for a couple or someone with a fenced outdoor area as he enjoys spending time outside on the deck.

Story
We are seeking a loving home for our wonderful 4 yr.old male pure breed border collie, Alfie. Alfie is a bundle of joy and energy. He thrives on interaction and is always ready for a game of fetch or a playful romp with the neighborhood dogs and kids. His friendly personality makes him a delightful addition to any family. To ensure Alfie gets the exercise and playtime he needs, we recommend a home with a large fenced yard where he can run freely and safely. While he is well-trained in the house, he prefers not to be on a leash, so a spacious area where he can explore is essential. Please note that Alfie is not good with cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal. Alfie is perfect for active families who can match his energy levels and provide him with plenty of opportunities to play. While he plays wonderfully with neighbor kids, he has never lived with children before, so a gradual introduction would be beneficial. He is well trained, crate trained and is up to date on vaccinations.
