Story
This is Boss, a 4 year old AKC English Bulldog. We adopted him as a rehome in November of last year. He's a very sweet, loyal, playful and silly boy. He loves fruits, veggies, cuddling and being silly. However Boss has some behavioral issues that were not disclosed to us. He does well with our chihuahua and teenage son, not sure about small children. He's good on walks but can be shy. When it comes to his home he can be very territorial and per our vet he really needs obedience school. Unfortunately due to recent financial setbacks we can not provide the training he needs to be his best self. We are looking to rehome him to a loving patient person who can provide the care he needs and would like a big lapdog. He is microchiped, neutered and recently had his rabies shot. He will come with all his gear, toys, crate, bed, food, AKC paperwork and microchip information. He is located in Milford, OH.

Story
Hi, I’m Atlas! I’m a big goofy boy who loves fetch, chasing balls, sniff walks, tasty treats, and chewing on a good bone. I also have a softer side — once I trust you, I’m a total couch-cuddling snuggle bug who loves spending time with my people.I’m happiest when I have space to run and play, but I’m just as happy relaxing at home after a fun day. I do well with dog siblings and enjoy doggy daycare, so I can thrive in a multi-pet home. I’m also a big brother to a human baby — we don’t roughhouse, but I’ve always been gentle with him.I can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar dogs, so I need a little time and patience to warm up. I do best in a calm home where I can feel safe and build trust at my own pace.I’m also pretty vocal and will let you know when something catches my attention, making me a great little watchdog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with lots of personality, I’d love to meet you!

Story
Just adopted her and she is so sweet but I have quickly realized that I don’t have the time or financial means to take care of her. She’s 7 months old so still just a pup, and has a lot of energy. She is crate trained and house broken. She needs some more training on the leash and with commands but she does well with “sit”, “bed” and “crate”.

Story
Blue-eyed NIKE is stunning petite Australian Shepherd girl. Her floofy coat makes her look like she's part llama or alpaca, but she's all Aussie! 34-pound Nike is a loving girl with a big heart. At 9 years old she's considered a senior chronologically, but Nike did not get the memo. She's lively, fun and affectionate.  Nike spent her life as a treasured family member, but her world was turned upside down when her elderly mom’s health took a turn for the worse and sadly Nike had no place to go. Nike is accustomed to life as an only dog in a quiet home and she’s ideally suited to a similar living environment. So far, she’s indifferent to other dogs, she might be okay with another dog as a roommate, but she seems to have no interest in a playmate. She would love to be someone’s constant companion in a quieter home – maybe with an active retiree or with someone who works from home. Nike received excellent veterinary care over the course of her life and recently had a dental cleaning. She’s medium energy, housebroken and well behaved. If you’d like ot meet Nike, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Nike at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 15, 2026, 9:29 am

Story
Gentle ZIGGY is a beautiful, shy girl looking for a home. She's around 5 years old and 34 pounds. We do know a bit of her history, her mama was a pure-bred golden retriever, so her daddy must have been a smaller dog to account for her size. You can see the golden undertones in her gorgeous medium-length coat. Ziggy spent her life living on a farm and as a result she's shy in new surroundings and when meeting new people. She was surrendered to a rural shelter and we pulled her because we knew she would crumble in that environment. She has a lovely disposition and so wants to trust and be loved. She needs a home with a patient adopter willing to take some time to earn her trust. Ziggy seeks out the companionship of other dogs and needs a home with another friendly dog who can help her navigate life. She's housebroken and fine with cats. She needs a home with a physically-fenced yard. If you'd like to meet Ziggy and you're willing to take the time to earn her trust, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Ziggy at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. Story
Stunning PUPCUP is our resident snow bunny. She LOVES snowy days. Pupcup is a sweet little blue-eyed girl mixed breed girl. Our best guess on breed is a terrier mix. This adorable redhead is around 11 months old and fully grown at just 21 pounds. Pupcup is an absolute gem of a dog. She adores her foster parents following them everywhere and loves the other dogs in her foster home. She likes to play and loves toys. She's housebroken and well-behaved in her crate. Pupcup needs a home with another playful dog and a physically-fenced yard. If you'd like to meet this lovely girl, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org.
