Meet Gus and Jack! These two are brothers/littermates/twins, and they are very bonded. These two have been together their entire five years on earth so I’d really like to keep it that way if at all possible for their mental health! They are 5 yr old coonhound/boxer mixes originally adopted from a cat shelter in southern Kentucky about 4 years ago. I am a newly single mom of multiple and getting out of an unhealthy situation. I wish I could keep these good boys but unfortunately I’ve ended up in a place where I’m not permitted to have them, and to be honest I am struggling to make ends meet so I have to do what’s right for them. I want these boys to go to a good, stable home, preferably with a yard. I’m on the east side of the Cincinnati area and can meet up with you to meet them anywhere in the Cincinnati area! FUDGE is a stunning young mixed breed boy looking for a home. His soft caramel-colored eyes will melt your heart. Fudge has the most divine disposition, sweet and friendly. He loves toys and treats and human attention. Fudge is still a pup at around 9 months old. He's currently 34 pounds and is probably fully grown. Our best guess on breed mix is a Brittany/Beagle mix but that's just a guess, who knows how many breeds are in the mix. Fudge's lovely red coat is somewhere between short and medium. He's best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard and he'd love to have a doggy playmate. If you'd like to meet Fudge, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Fudge at our weekly adoption event, Saturday noon-2 at PetSmart Eastgate. He is everything a beagle should be -- handsome, food motivated, playful, food motivated, friendly, food motivated, good with other dogs, food motivated. Well, you get the picture, he's a typical silly little beagle. He's about 3 years old and fully grown at 27 pounds. He's good with other dogs, loves his toys and craves attention. Jones is housebroken and crate trained. He needs a home with a physically fenced yard so he can run and romp but can't follow his beagle nose into trouble. PHILLIP is a stunning young mixed breed dog looking for a home. He's around 1 year old and appears to be fully grown at 39 pounds although he could stand to gain a couple of pounds. Our best guess on breed is a Plott Hound/Beagle mix. He's trim and athletic and drop dead gorgeous, photos don't do him justice. This poor dog was trembling in fear in a rural shelter and needed someone to save him so we did. Phillip is all nose, he needs to sniff every single blade of grass in the yard. He's good natured but timid and will need some time to warm up. He's good with other dogs and needs a physically-fenced yard. LORELAI GILMORE is a stunning scruffy young dog looking for a home. She is a timid girl, our best guess is a Jack Russell Terrier-type mix, about 11 months old and fully grown at 24 pounds. She's a beautiful girl who literally wears her heart on her hip. Lorelai loves her doggie friends. She's good with older, dog-savvy kids and kitties. She prefers women over men. Lorelai needs a home with a dog-experienced adopter who will take the time needed to earn her trust. She must have a confident, playful dog sibling and is best suited to a home with a physically-fenced yard. She's housebroken, crate trained and walks well on a leash. Lorelai and her sister Rory were found dumped in the woods earlier this year. Both girls were adopted a few months ago but Lorelai Gilmore was recently returned due to a change in family circumstances. Lorelai prefers women and is best suited to a quiet home where there won't be lots of strangers coming and going.
