Story
Meet Gus and Jack! These two are brothers/littermates/twins, and they are very bonded. These two have been together their entire five years (almost 6 their bday is in June!) on earth so I’d really like to keep it that way if at all possible for their mental health! They are almost 6 yr old coonhound/boxer mixes (their bday is in June!) originally adopted from a family down in southern Kentucky about 5 years ago. I am a newly single mom of multiple and wish I could keep these good boys but unfortunately I’ve ended up in a place where I’m not permitted to have them, and to be honest I am struggling to make ends meet so I have to do what’s right for them. I want these boys to go to a good, stable home, preferably with a yard. I’m on the east side of the Cincinnati area and can meet up with you to meet them anywhere in the Cincinnati area!Feel free to text anytime at 859-979-4977

Lulu is a great puppy. She’s excellent with my son and all my other animals. She’s potty trained with bells. She will ring the bells on the door when she needs to go out. She’s very smart and would be very easy to train. We absolutely adore her.

Story
This sweet 6-year-old pitbull mix is just looking for someone to love her for life. She was once with someone she cared deeply about, but due to difficult circumstances, she was suddenly removed from that home and everything she knew. Since then, she’s been trying to adjust, patiently waiting for a place where she truly belongs. Despite the change, she is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and loves being around people. She leans in for attention and just wants to be close. You can feel how much she wants to love and be loved. She is currently in a foster home, but they are no longer able to keep her, so we are urgently looking for a stable, permanent home. What she needs most is consistency, patience, and someone who won’t let her go. A calm home where she can finally feel safe again. If you can give her that chance, please reach out. Even sharing helps.

Story
We’re rehoming our sweet Great Pyrenees, Luna, and this is not a decision we’ve taken lightly. We brought Luna home about 1.5 years ago to help guard our property and chickens, and she has been a loyal, gentle presence ever since. Shortly after, we found out we were expecting our first child, and life has become much more full and hectic than we anticipated. Luna deserves more time, attention, and space to thrive than we’re currently able to give her. She is about 2 years old, “small homestead” raised, and has a natural instinct to watch over her space. She is incredibly sweet, loyal, calm, and protective in the best way. We’re looking for a home where she can have room to roam, ideally with land, livestock, or a family familiar with the breed. She would do best with someone who can give her the time and purpose she was made for. Our hope is to find someone who will love her as much as we do and give her the life she truly deserves.

Story
HOSS is a strikingly handsome 7-8 month old mixed breed pup looking for a home with people who love to snuggle. This guy loves people. He likes his toys and food as well, but he thrives on attention from humans. We're calling Hoss a Shargle -- he appears to be a Shar Pei/Beagle mix. He has the big wrinkly head and sturdy legs of a Shar Pei and the body of a black and tan beagle. Hoss is an easygoing pup who loves squeaky toys and will do anything for food. He's already learned to sit for treats. At the vet's office he sat calmly while being poked and prodded. He'd fine with anything especially if yummy treats are involved. He's a bright boy who learns quickly and should be fun to train. Hoss is currently 24 pounds and probably close to fully grown, we're estimating he'll be 30ish pounds when fully grown. He's dog friendly, he came to us with his brother Brew. Brew looks more like a beagle, Hoss definitely has a shar pei face.  Hoss has a cherry eye which will be surgically corrected next week but he's available to go to a home right away. If you'd like to meet Hoss, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Hoss at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate.  Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 15, 2026, 4:13 pm
