Story
Jimmy is a Velcro dog. Once he bonds with a person he doesn’t want to leave their side. He is the ultimate cuddle bug come the late evening and wants to be apart of any and all adventures your going on. Unfortunately his person is now taking care of their elderly parents all the time now and can’t give him the attention he deserves. Hoping to find a home that he would be the only dog with adults only.

Story
Archie is a miniature golden doodle and was adopted shortly after he was born. His birthday is January 7th, 2025 so he is roughly a year old. He is very affectionate and gets well with kids and other dogs! He loves to cuddle and he is a bit rambunctious at times as he is still young. He has some separation issues and isn’t crate trained. Archie is not fully house trained - he will hold his bladder, but may use the restroom if not let out routinely. He may chew things also. Other than that Archie is a loving, silly, energetic dog. He loves being outside and going for walks. I’m looking for a new owner who would like to play, care for, and spend a lot of time with him! He needs a lot of attention and I am unable to fulfill those needs due to my busy schedule.

Story
Meet Gus and Jack! These two are brothers/littermates/twins, and they are very bonded. These two have been together their entire five years on earth so I’d really like to keep it that way if at all possible for their mental health! They are 5 yr old coonhound/boxer mixes originally adopted from a cat shelter in southern Kentucky about 4 years ago. I am a newly single mom of multiple and getting out of an unhealthy situation. I wish I could keep these good boys but unfortunately I’ve ended up in a place where I’m not permitted to have them, and to be honest I am struggling to make ends meet so I have to do what’s right for them. I want these boys to go to a good, stable home, preferably with a yard. I’m on the east side of the Cincinnati area and can meet up with you to meet them anywhere in the Cincinnati area! Feel free to text anytime at 513-375-6474.

Story
We rescued Jack from a shelter 12 years ago. He was 4 then and is now (we believe) 16 years old, but still very healthy, and has a lot of love to give. We believe he was surrendered because he was a nervous dog. He loves being around people, being pet, and will sometimes play, though he really loves cuddling and taking naps now. We found the right pet food for him, which has taken care of the nervous stomach situation. He also needs a pain pill twice a day for his back leg, both of which we are willing to pay for (have shipped to your home) for the first 6 months, on a monthly basis. He's a quiet dog, sleeps a lot of the day, great with kids, and enjoys going out in a fenced yard. He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. My family is being relocated to Singapore and we believe the trip there, and the circumstances around this move, will just be too much for him and would love to find a loving family that is willing to care for him. We think he still has a lot of love to give.

Story
GALAXY and GEMINI are two stunning small lab mix boys looking for homes. They are teenagers, 8-10 months old, playful, silly and friendly. We're not sure about the "mix" part, but they're much smaller than lab pups at this age. They're basically Heinz 57 varieties-type mixes with labby faces. Galaxy is currently 30 pounds, Gemini is 27 pounds. They're probably close to fully grown, they should be nice medium-sized adult dogs. These guys are tough to tell apart, Gemini has a little bit of white on his chest. Other than that, they're basically twins. Gemini has a higher play motor than his brother. They love to run and romp in the yard. Each is best suited to a home where they will have a playful dog sibling and a physically-fenced yard. Gemini and Galaxy love toys and playtime. Like all puppies, they need homes with adopters willing to spend some time training them to become well-mannered family members. If you'd like to meet Galaxy or Gemini, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Galaxy and Gemini at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 1130am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate.   Our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
PHILLIP is a stunning young mixed breed dog looking for a home. He's around 1 year old and appears to be fully grown at 42 pounds. Our best guess on breed is a Plott Hound/Beagle mix. He's trim and athletic and drop dead gorgeous, photos don't do him justice. This poor dog was trembling in fear in a rural shelter and needed someone to save him so we did. Phillip is all nose, he needs to sniff every single blade of grass in the yard. He's good natured but timid and will need some time to warm up. He's good with other dogs and needs a physically-fenced yard. If you'd like to meet Phillip, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Phillip at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate.
