We are looking for a loving new home for our sweet-natured 7-year-old Black Lab. He is crate trained and has been a wonderful, loyal companion and much-loved member of our family.Our son has always been his primary owner and caregiver. Now that our son is off to college, he is no longer able to give him the time and attention he needs. With my work schedule and caring for my 80-year-old mother who lives with me, I have come to realize that I am also unable to provide him with the active, fulfilling life he deserves.This is a difficult decision, and we want to find him a home where he will be loved, cared for, and included as part of the family. He has so much love to give and deserves a family who can give him the time, companionship, and attention he needs.We are hoping to find a responsible, loving home that understands the commitment of caring for a 7-year-old Lab and will give him the happy life he deserves.

We are the wrong family for our sweet boy, Arlow.He is unhappy with our current arrangement. We are trying to find a home that would make him happier. Arlows needs:No other pets*No kids**Potentially only one owner (not a couple or a family)Would do better with a manA fenced yard (electric or physical)PatienceGentlenessSomeone fairly active and willing to walkExperienced dog ownerArlow can be aggressive and reactive. Mostly towards other pets but also humans. He bit my husband for getting in his space 6 years ago. He has not bit anyone since, but we work really hard to make sure he doesn't get the chance to. He will growl and snarl and snap if you get in between him and food or toys.He knows how to sit stay place. His recall is fairly good. He is crate trained. Has never been destructive in the home. He also stays in the yard really well. He has hound traits. He is noisy. And a hunter.

APOLLO is a two year old neutered, male German Shepard/Labrador mix. He is an all around sweet dog who was born on 10/2/2024. He is 68lbs. He was originally adopted from the Clermont County Animal Shelter as a 7 month old puppy and had previous owners for 15 months. Due to circumstances beyond their control they had to give him up. He is currently residing in our home with a 7 year old hound dog. They get along well. We have a complete medical history. He is neutered and up to date on all shots. He has no parasites and is on flea and tick medicine. He goes into a crate with no issue. He is not a chewer, can sit, shake and come when called. He will bark when people come to the door. He loves to run outdoors but is primarily an inside dog. Loves to have his ears and belly rubbed. He is affectionate and playful. Apollo’s forever home is with someone who can take him to the dog park often or has a fenced in yard that will allow him to run and play. He would likely be a great family dog.
