Story
Just adopted her and she is so sweet but I have quickly realized that I don’t have the time or financial means to take care of her. She’s 7 months old so still just a pup, and has a lot of energy. She is crate trained and house broken. She needs some more training on the leash and with commands but she does well with “sit”, “bed” and “crate”.

Story
Katie is a 1 year old female Chihuahua who can no longer be taken care of by her elderly owner. I acquired the dog from my aunt as she was going from ER and being transferred to a hospital. She is now in a care facility and may not return home and if she does return home she will not be able to care for the pup. Katie had up to date shots as of Nov 2025 but is not spayed. My aunt states the pup has been a good companion for her and loving. Since the pup has been in my care - she has been staying in a large crate and seems wary. She is quiet most of time - but barks when crate is cleaned. I can pet her, but she does not show affection - just curiosity. She will need someone to give her a good home where she can be loved

Story
She is house-trained, knows a few basic commands, and is generally a good dog. She does get nervous around guests and unfamiliar people and has some behavioral issues that I believe stem from severe anxiety. They may be a work in progress, but aren’t we all! Unfortunately, due to changes in my circumstances, I no longer have the time she deserves, and I am planning to move to a location that does not allow pets. Because of this, I feel it is in Wednesday’s best interest to find a home that can provide her with the attention and stability she needs

Story
Rex is a German shepherd/blue heeler mix. We have had Rex for about 6 months after finding him roaming the neighborhood as a stray. He is approximately 2 years old. Our priority is finding a family or individual who can provide the love, care, and environment Rex deserves. Rex is an intelligent boy who loves to stay busy. He is a loyal companion who enjoys playing with other dogs. He is well trained and knows many commands. He has a high energy level and needs a home that can keep him stimulated physically and mentally. We are looking for an active family/person that has a yard for him to run and play safely. Experience with herding/guarding breeds would be a great benefit. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night. He behaves very well in the home and is not allowed on furniture. He loves squeaky toys and chasing the ball. Has some scent training.

Story
Hi, I’m Atlas! I’m a big goofy boy who loves fetch, chasing balls, sniff walks, tasty treats, and chewing on a good bone. I also have a softer side — once I trust you, I’m a total couch-cuddling snuggle bug who loves spending time with my people.I’m happiest when I have space to run and play, but I’m just as happy relaxing at home after a fun day. I do well with dog siblings and enjoy doggy daycare, so I can thrive in a multi-pet home. I’m also a big brother to a human baby — we don’t roughhouse, but I’ve always been gentle with him.I can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar dogs, so I need a little time and patience to warm up. I do best in a calm home where I can feel safe and build trust at my own pace.I’m also pretty vocal and will let you know when something catches my attention, making me a great little watchdog. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with lots of personality, I’d love to meet you!

Story
Hello! My name is OJ, and I sure am the coolest pup on the block! I am a young dog, so you will find that while I am friendly and playful, I mostly have a gentle and calm disposition. We will have so much fun just hanging out - especially if you have treats for me! Do you like to go for walks? I love to walk and I am great on a leash - I walk at a very nice pace. So that tells you I am smart! My forever family can be just one person or many more -I have been around kids, dogs and even ferrets. My good nature helps me to get along with people quite nicely. If you have kids and/or a dog at home, it is highly encouraged that you bring them along to the shelter to meet me and see if it`ll be a good fit! Please come and spend some time with me!
