Story
This sweet 6-year-old pitbull mix is just looking for someone to love her for life. She was once with someone she cared deeply about, but due to difficult circumstances, she was suddenly removed from that home and everything she knew. Since then, she’s been trying to adjust, patiently waiting for a place where she truly belongs. Despite the change, she is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and loves being around people. She leans in for attention and just wants to be close. You can feel how much she wants to love and be loved. She is currently in a foster home, but they are no longer able to keep her, so we are urgently looking for a stable, permanent home. What she needs most is consistency, patience, and someone who won’t let her go. A calm home where she can finally feel safe again. If you can give her that chance, please reach out. Even sharing helps.

Story
Pepper is a half-Great Pyrenees, half mix black and white (or white and black dog ~65 lbs. She knows sit, stay, wait, lie down, come. She is house trained (but may have set backs in a new environment due to her anxiety), crate trained, good with other dogs, cats, and humans. She can be possessive of her food and treats around other animals, but is overwise very sweet and loving. She loves to bark at noises and at strangers entering the house – she is a very good guard dog! \She loves walks – but her family calls them “sniffs” because she just loves to sniff and sniff and sniff and you don’t get much walking done! She does love to run and play though, and would do great in a home with a big yard. Pepper is a sweet girl who has had a very difficult life, but also has had times of great joy filled with love. Her first years were on the streets. She came to a loving home, but sadly the landlord said she couldn’t stay. There is more to her sad story but not enough space here to share!

Story
Meet Carl!Carl is a handsome mixed-breed boy who is just about 2 years old and currently searching for his forever home. This sweet island boy traveled all the way from St. Lucia and is still getting used to his new surroundings. He has a gentle personality and can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience and kindness, he begins to show his sweet nature. We are still learning about him and aren`t yet sure how he is with children. If you`re looking for a kind-hearted dog who just needs a loving home to help him blossom, Carl could be the perfect match. Come meet this sweet island boy today and see if he`s the missing piece of your family.

Story
Meet Gabe! This handsome boy recently came to us from another shelter and is ready to find a place to call home. Gabe has a medium, playful energy level and enjoys engaging with people and other dogs—he’s shown that he can play well with others and has a friendly, social nature. While we’re still learning how he feels about children and new environments, his easygoing and playful personality has already made a great impression. As he transitions into a new home, some continued training will help keep him confident, well-mannered, and the very best boy he can be.If you’re looking for a fun, balanced companion who enjoys both playtime and companionship, Gabe might be your perfect match!

Story
Hello! My name is OJ, and I sure am the coolest pup on the block! I am a young dog, so you will find that while I am friendly and playful, I mostly have a gentle and calm disposition. We will have so much fun just hanging out - especially if you have treats for me! Do you like to go for walks? I love to walk and I am great on a leash - I walk at a very nice pace. So that tells you I am smart! My forever family can be just one person or many more -I have been around kids, dogs and even ferrets. My good nature helps me to get along with people quite nicely. If you have kids and/or a dog at home, it is highly encouraged that you bring them along to the shelter to meet me and see if it`ll be a good fit! Please come and spend some time with me!
