He is a great dog and we are in a situation that we can not keep him as we are having to stay with family until we find a place and he doesn’t do well with cats and they have cats so we have no choice but to rehome him. It is not his fault and he deserves a loving home with a place to play! I never thought I’d find myself in a situation like this and having to find my own dog a home but here we are and it sucks! Please help!

This is Ash. Ash is a 1 year old Silver Lab/Leopard hound mix. We got Ash from a farm family a couple hours away, when he was 8 weeks old. He was the runt. Ash will absolutely need a very experienced owner. Here is why. As Ash has gotten older we have figured out he has food aggression/reactivity. We are wanting to move and buy a house, unfortunately Ash is no longer fit for us. We feel that he would be best suited with someone who is experienced in this and/or a trainer is ideal. We love Ash dearly, which is why we are trying rehoming to the right people instead of euthanasia. Ash can be sweet, he loves meeting new people, he is very active and playful. He loves having your attention and going outside to play. Some new dogs he can get along with and others not... it depends on the dog. He has been around some cats, and not any babies, but 7 and up he seems okay with. If you or anyone you know is interested please contact me, we can talk more detail on him if interested. Thank you!

Arnie is very energetic and loves to explore and run, especially outside! He would love to have a large yard to call his own, or an active family that wants to take him on hikes and jogs as much as his heart desires. Arnie is a sweetheart who loves everyone he meets, greeting you with an excited tail wag and kisses. He loves to get pets and just wants to be engaged with whatever his people are doing.Arnie does really well with children! He also has experience with other dogs, and has done well. We do not know if he does well with cats. Interestingly enough, Arnie also has experience with livestock animals- his previous owner said he would visit the neighbor`s pigs and try to play with them! In his previous home, Arnie was house-trained and crate-trained, but there may be an adjustment period when he goes home with his new family. Arnie also knows the commands `sit` and `paw`! He is treat-motivated and eager to perform his tricks for a yummy snack. At his age and energy level, Arnie would really benefit from ongoing training and lots of enrichment to keep his active mind stimulated.
