Story
We adopted Oreo from the Sharonville SPCA seven years ago when she was two. Everyone who meets her says she is beautiful, but her calm, gentle nature is what truly makes her special. Oreo rarely barks; silence is her default state. She won't make a sound when guests arrive or ring the doorbell. The only time she raises her voice is late at night if she senses a potential intruder. When visitors come over, she politely sniffs them for a moment, then quietly returns to her spot. She gets along wonderfully with cats, dogs, children, and adults. Ever watchful, Oreo acts like a peacekeeper, keeping an eye on everyone to make sure no one gets too rowdy or naughty. When she needs to go outside to relieve herself, she communicates her needs clearly without making a fuss. Now nine years old, Oreo remains extremely healthy and doesn't need any medication. She is a loyal, quiet, and playful companion. She will tell u if she needs to go out for popo or pepe. Her face is excellent communicator...

Story
Meet Timber! Timber is a high-energy, happy pup who’s always ready for fun! Timber is incredibly curious and alert at all times- always with her nose to the ground and investigating new smells. She loves to explore outside, going on long walks or having long play sessions in fenced-in areas. Timber knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, and `wait`, and she is a smart girl who’s VERY treat-motivated and eager to keep learning. Timber absolutely loves attention and thrives when she’s spending time with her people.Timber can be a bit picky with her dog friends- she has had fun with other dogs in our playgroups at the shelter, but has also had other times where she didn`t have as much fun with certain dogs. Timber may prefer to have the house to herself so she can soak up all the love. With that being said, if you do have dogs at home and would like to give it a try, we would do a meet-and-greet at the shelter to see if your dogs can pass Timber`s vibe check. If you’re looking for an energetic, affectionate companion who’s ready for adventures and cuddles alike, Timber might be the perfect match for you!

Story
Hello! My name is OJ, and I sure am the coolest pup on the block! I am a young dog, so you will find that while I am friendly and playful, I mostly have a gentle and calm disposition. We will have so much fun just hanging out - especially if you have treats for me! Do you like to go for walks? I love to walk and I am great on a leash - I walk at a very nice pace. So that tells you I am smart! My forever family can be just one person or many more -I have been around kids, dogs and even ferrets. My good nature helps me to get along with people quite nicely. If you have kids and/or a dog at home, it is highly encouraged that you bring them along to the shelter to meet me and see if it`ll be a good fit! Please come and spend some time with me!

Story
Meet Tabasco! This handsome boy is still new to our shelter, and we`re getting to know more about him every day. So far, we`ve learned that Tabasco loves playing fetch, squeaky toys, laying on a couch and enjoys getting plenty of pets and attention from his people.Tabasco came to us from a farm and has participated in our dog playgroups, where he did pretty well with other dogs. He did great with kids and cats, and seemed to be potty trained in a short term foster home. Car rides with them went good too!Like many dogs adjusting to a new home, Tabasco will benefit from consistent training, daily enrichment, and a refresher on housebreaking to help him thrive. With patience, structure, and lots of love, Tabasco has the potential to be a wonderful companion. If you`re looking for an active, affectionate dog who enjoys playtime and spending time with his people, stop by SPCA Cincinnati to meet Tabasco! He may be the perfect addition to your family.

Story
Meet Gypsy!! This girl is such a sweetie. In new environments, she can take a second to open up, but once she does, she becomes a loving, affectionate dog who enjoys snuggles with her people. She has so much energy and love to give her humans.Gypsy is house-broken and crate trained! She also knows the `sit` command. Gypsy is a smart, treat-motivated gal who is eager to please her people.Gypsy would do best with older kids, around 10 and up. Gypsy hasn`t had the pleasure of being around cats. In our playgroups with other dogs, she is one of our most stable and social dogs around! She would likely thrive in a home with a canine playmate, but she would also be happy as a solo pup if given plenty of love and affection. Please help Gypsy find her furever home. Visit her at SPCA Cincinnati today!
