Story
Koji is an 11-year-young lovebug and truly adores everyone he meets—he is friendly, gentle, and incredibly loving. He does wonderfully with dogs, cats, children, and adults, making him an easy and joyful addition to almost any home. (He actually lived with a cat for 10 years!) Koji is fully vaccinated, house-trained, and still enjoys walks, outdoor time, and play — followed by his favorite activity: cuddling. Koji would thrive in a loving home with a kind, attentive family. He’d be happiest with a backyard to explore or plenty of outdoor playtime and walks if a yard isn’t available. Koji would also enjoy having another dog companion and would make a wonderful furry friend for a home with a resident pup. If you or someone you know can give Koji the home he deserves, please reach out. Sharing this post could help him find his perfect match 💛🏡

Story
This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken.  They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.  Meet Gabby Gabby is a six-month-old hound mix (30lbs) with an irresistible underbite that charms everyone she meets. She’s playful, social, and dog friendly, making her a great match for many types of homes. As a young pup, Gabby will benefit from continued guidance, so training classes are required to help her grow into a well-mannered canine citizen. She would also love a fenced yard where she can safely run, explore, and burn off her youthful energy. If you’re looking for an affectionate, goofy companion who’s ready to learn and eager to love, Gabby may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet her and see why we adore her.*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.February 10, 2026, 1:48 pm

We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken.  They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.   6-7 months old, 20 lbs.   From Puerto Rico to the Jersey Shore! The Sato Project reached out for help, and of course we couldn’t say no. Meet three very special siblings, Bailey (boy), Lily, and Lexi (girls),  who just made the big trip in search of a brighter future.  At about 6 months old and 20–25 lbs, these cuties will likely grow to a perfect medium size (around 30-35 lbs full grown). As for their breed mix...well, that’s part of the fun! They’ve got the look of labs, shorter legs like bassets, and faces that resemble greyhounds or whippets. Whatever the combo, the result is 100% adorable.  We are looking for active homes with secure yards for these pups, along with families ready to commit to training and obedience. With the right guidance, they’ll grow into outstanding canine citizens.  Sweet, lovable, and ready to be someone’s best friend,  these pups are eager to start their new lives here in NJ. Could that be with you?*Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.October 16, 2025, 3:37 pm

Story
Drea is an 8 yr old female Husky. She is a very sweet and well behaved dog. She is not a barker or anything like that. The quietest dog I have ever seen actually. This was my father's dog who is unable to care for her since his wife passed away and his health issues. I know they rescued her in NC but his ex wife is trying to take care of her at the moment and has asked me to reach out for adoption. My parents are both almost 80 and Drea pulls her sometimes when she walks her. They had a doggie door where she let herself out to go where he lived in NC but here in NJ we are in a condo and she has had accidents while we were out so we started putting paper down but will let you know if she needs to go. We feel she needs someone with a fenced in yard and that can give her a lot of attention, like a companion or buddy. She is very mellow and is used to a quiet home with adults. I have updated this that she is just scared of kids and chaos. All of her paperwork is with her as well.
